General FAQs
Long press the button located on the right side of the Wave Spectra to turn the watch On.
Raise your wrist to wake up the screen of the watch
While the Wave Spectra is on, long press on the button shut down power off option, this would lead to turning the watch off.
Pressing the side button would lead to opening the menu
While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on the Wave Spectra
There are the following mode options on the menu of the Wave Spectra Activity Records – For tracking the workout done by the users.
Heart Rate: For measuring the heart rate of the users.
Blood Oxygen: For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood
Stress Mode: For measuring the stress level of the users
Sleep Mode: For measuring the sleep hours of the users
Guided Breathing Mode: For breathing exercise of the users
Alarm: To set up alarm for the users
Music Control: To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music (Note : This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols)
Camera Control: To control the camera from the watch and click photos
Timer: To set up timer for the users when in need
Settings: To enter the settings of the watch
There are multiple sports modes available in the watch, outdoor run, outdoor walk, indoor walk, long jump, indoor run, strength training, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, indoor cycle, elliptical, yoga, cricket, mountaineering, and golf.
You can also add or replace activities according to your preferences through the boAt Crest app.
Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.
Short press side button or swipe right and then click on start/pause to start/pause that exercise
On the App home dashboard> Tap on "Heart rate” card and you can view all your historical heart rate readings. You can view your Min and Max HR for the day. You can also access the history by tapping on the history icon and can also filter the details based on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis
You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app.
Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to SPO2 >> Tap measure.
Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boAt Crest app.
The stress Monitoring feature allows a user to determine their current level of stress based on their heart rate variability.
Heart rate variability is where the amount of time between your heartbeats fluctuates slightly. This beat-to-beat interval variation is measured in milliseconds and can vary depending on a few factors.
Open the ‘boAt Crest’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.
Click on it and go to Settings and
Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option (Note :Your sleep goal is indicative of your sleep target, and the watch automatically records the sleep)
Open the ‘boAt Crest’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.
Click on it and go to Settings and
Inside Setting, you will find the Sleep Goal. You can set your Sleep Goal under this option.
This feature will allow users to monitor and rate the quality of breathing. Breath exercise (Inhale/Exhale pattern) on the watch for selected duration and rhythm
It is a feature available on the watch where users can use it to do breathing exercises.
Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature
While listening to music users can play, Pause, move back to previous track, jump forward to next track and control the volume of the music.
Note:- This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.
Tap on 'settings' on the home dashboard. Go to Wave Spectra settings > watch Faces. Under the Watch faces option, select the watch face you want to set on your watch & click apply.
There are default watch faces available on the watch. Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces, select and add your preferred watch face.
You can also change the watch face by rotating the side button.
You can control the brightness level of the watch by swiping down from the watch home screen & change the brightness level
Swipe down on the home page would lead to shortcut menu
There are five functions in the shortcut menu- (i) Daily Activity (ii) Heart Rate Monitor (iii) stress monitor (iv) Sleep monitor
Short press the dial to reach to the menu.
Swipe right on the home screen of the watch to review the notifications of the connected media device.
Swipe up to the last page to delete all notifications
Go to settings> Auto Activity> Enable auto workout mode from here
Yes. Wave Spectra does have a camera control feature.
There are total 16 sports modes on the watch
Your stress can be recorded according to the heart rate variability.
1-29 % relax; 30-59% normal; 60-79% medium; 80-99% high.
Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode
The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate. There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information. Red light is the blood oxygen sensor.
Yes, step counting, Heart rate monitoring, calorie count and sports modes can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected
Watch has some internal memory to record this data. Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

Go to Wave Spectra features > watch Faces. Under the Watch faces option, select the watch face you want to set on your watch & click apply.
There are 4 default watch faces available on the watch.
Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces, select add your preferred watch face
The water resistance level of the Wave Spectra smartwatch is IP68.
