Troubleshooting FAQs

Process 1: Via QR code

  1. Find the QR code on the product manual of the Wave Elevate Pro for installing the boAt Wearables App on the media devices of the users.

  2. Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the. Wave Elevate Pro

  3. Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the boAt Wearables app on the user’s device.

Process 2 : ​Via Searching the app on Google Play or Apple Play Store

  1. On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search bar, type ‘boAt Wearables App’ and enter search.

  2. You will see the boAt Wearables app in the search result list.

  3. Click on the install button to install boAt Wearables app on the user’s media device.

  1. Download the boAt Wearables application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.

  2. When you open the app, please allow all permissions.

  3. Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and

  4. conditions.

  5. You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.

  6. Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Wave Elevate Pro smartwatch in the available device list.

  7. Click on the GLORYPROBT to pair the Wave Elevate Pro Smartwatch with your phone.

  8. This will complete the pairing process after which the Wave Elevate Pro Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

  1. Make sure your phone and watch are connected through Bluetooth

  2. Click on the BT call icon on the top left corner of the home dashboard (initially it will be red).

  3. Click on Pair Now.

  4. A popup for pairing with ELEVATEPROBT should come. Click on Pair & connect

  5. BT call will be connected now and the BT call icon on the home dashboard will appear green

  1. Keep the boAt Wearables app updated to the latest version

  2. Uninstall the Wearables app (if installed)

  3. Install the Wearables app and allow all the permissions (especially location) and deny the permission for "Battery Optimization" and "Auto-Start / Self-Start". Now select "Wave Elevate Pro" on the available smart watch list and bind it. This will connect your smart watch with the app.

  4. If the above process doesn't work then close all the programs on the watch → Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS → Connect again.

  5. Check and enable the notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.

Note: Make sure your phone system meets Android 7.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.

  1. The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.

  2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

  3. Make sure the app is running in background always.

  1. Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, spO2, time can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.

  2. Watch has some internal memory to record this data.

  3. Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app

  1. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.

  2. The watch’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.

Note : If the watch is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V/2A rated power adapter

  1. Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.

  2. Try cleaning the charging pins with an alchohol swab / a cotton bud dipped slighly in sanitizer spirit. Once cleaned, wipe the surface with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on it.

  3. Ensure that the charger specification is of 5V 2A (Output)

  • Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Wave Elevate Pro’s battery. 

  1. Before using the Watch Wave Elevate Pro for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specifications of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Wave Elevate Pro as long as the above norms are followed.

  1. In order to sync the data to the app, go to the app’s homepage, drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.

  2. Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and watch and app are nearby when you are syncing the data.

  3. If the app is taking too long time to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.

  4. If you still continue to have data sync issues, please restart your phone and try again.

  5. If the app is taking too long time to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.

    Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

  • Once you wake up, do sync the watch with the app to view sleep records

  1. Make sure call alert and message alert (smart reminders) are enabled from the app synced to the watch.

  2. Also make sure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then will your smartwatch also display those notifications.

  3. Even if the notifications are not coming, switch off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch on OR restart your phone

  4. Try uninstalling and installing the boAt Wearables and then start binding process with the watch and check if the issue is persisting.

  5. Reset the watch and check if the function is working or not.

  • In order to access watch faces from the app, users should log in to the app first

  1. Try to long press the multifunction button (MFB) and check if the watch is switching on or not. Flicking the wrist is enabling waking up the watch display or not.

  2. Check to charge the watch fully with the magnetic charging cable supplied with it via 5V 2A (output) charging adapter or via a power bank or via a computer.

  3. Clean the charging pins with an alcohol swab and then connect with the charger to check if the watch started taking charge

  1. We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.

  2. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid

  1. Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

  2. Sleep data is primarily estimated by movement. Once you are laid down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep

  1. Check if the user has hair, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

  2. Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid

  • spO2 and Heart Rate monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.

  • Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected

Power On :

  • Long press the button located on the bottom side of the Wave Glory, it would lead to turning the watch On

  • While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on Wave Elevate Pro

  • There are following mode options on the menu of the Wave Elevate Pro

  1. Sport : For tracking the exercises done by the users.

  2. Phone & BT Calling : To access contacts, phone pad and history.

  3. Heart Rate : For measuring the heart rate of the users.

  4. Blood Oxygen : For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood

  5. Stress Monitor : To check stress levels of users and Relax Mode – For breathing exercise of the users

  6. Alarm : To set up alarm for the users

  7. Music Control : To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music

  8. Timer : To set up timer for the users when in need

  9. Setting : To enter into the settings of the watch

  10. Sleep Monitor : To track sleep of users.

  11. Find my Phone : To ring the phone when the user is trying to locate their phone connected to the watch.

  1. There are many different exercises which can be tracked via Sports Mode : Running, Treadmill, Walking, Cycling, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Yoga, Free Movement

  2. Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.

  3. Press side button to pause/resume that exercise.

  4. To stop that exercise tracking session, press the side button and tap on the X icon.

  5. Alternatively, you can choose/add other sports modes from the app.

  1. Inside the menu, click on the ‘Heart Rate’ icon while wearing the watch on the wrist.

  2. Bring your wrist close to your heart. This will enable the watch to show the heart rate reading of the user on the watch’s screen

  1. Inside the menu, click on the ‘Blood Oxygen’ icon while wearing the watch on the wrist.

  2. Try to hold the arm still. This will enable the watch to show the reading of the spO2 in the blood of the user on the watch’s screen

  1. Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter the music control feature.

  2. While listening to music, users can play, Pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track, and control the volume of the music.

  2. Inside the menu, select the ‘Setting’ option

  3. Inside the ‘Setting’ option, select ‘Dial Setting’ option.

  4. Swipe to see all the available watch face options and select your preferred watch face.

Alternate Step: Long Press on the home screen to switch between the watch faces on the watch storm.

  1. Open the boAt Wearables app, pair the watch with the app first.

  2. Once paired you will get the pop up on the app home screen to connect with Phone’s Bluetooth

  3. Click on “pair” to connect with phone’s Bluetooth

  4. Alternatively, you can go to phone’s Bluetooth settings and pair “EDGE_BT” to start the calling feature on your watch
