Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.

  2. The watch’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.

Note:

If the watch is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V/2A rated power adapter.

  1. Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.

  2. Try cleaning it with an alchohol swab.

  3. If the problem still persists, kindly replace the product.

Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Wave Voice’s battery. 

  1. Before using the Watch Wave Voice for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Wave Voice as long as the above norms are followed.

boAt Watch Wave Voice needs boAt Wearables app to be installed on the users’ media devices. It is

available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store to be downloaded and installed into the users’

devices to use and utilise the Watch full functionality-

Step 1: Via QR Code Scanning

  • Find the QR code on the product manual of Wave Voice for installing the Wearables App on the media devices of the users.

  • Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the Wave Voice.

  • Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the Wearables App on the user’s device.

Step 2: Via searching the App on Google Play or Apple Play Store​

  • On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search-bar, type ‘boAt Wearables App’ and enter search.

  • You will see the boAt Wearables App in the search result list.

  • Click on the install button to install boAt Wearables App on the user’s media device.

Step 1:First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and

above or iOS 13 and above.

1: Download the boAt Wearables application, from Play Store for

Android and AppStore for iOS.

2: When you open the app, please allow all permissions.

3: Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and

conditions.

4: You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the

verification code in the app.

5: Follow the instructions on the App and you will find COSMOS

MAX smartwatch in the available device list.

6: Click on the CALLMAXBT to pair the Wave Voice Smartwatch with your phone.

7: This will complete the pairing process after which the COSMOS

MAX Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

Step 2: The previous process would enable the user to search for Wave Voice to connect with the Wearables App.

Step 3: Once the Wave Voice is found via Bluetooth, it will show on the

Wearables App.

Click on the Wave Voice Device and then click on the ‘Confirm Bind

Device’ button to start pairing Watch with the boAt Wearables App.

Once the connection is successful all the fitness data stored on the

Watch will sync automatically on the Wearables App.

1. The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 7-10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.

2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

3. Make sure the app is running in background always

  1. Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, calorie count, spO2, BP, time can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.

  2. Watch has some internal memory to record this data.

  3. Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

1. Go to the ‘Device’ on the App and select the Watch from the list

2. Click on the ‘SNS Alert’ option

3. Thereafter, click on ‘Allow Notifications’ options.

4. This will enable the following features-

(1) Call Alert, (2) Music Control, (3) Find My Phone, (4) Automatic Heart

Rate, (5) Wake Gesture, (6) Do-Not-Disturb, (7) Alarms, (8) Health Care (9)

Camera Shutter, (9) BT calling switch on

Make sure call alert and message alert are enabled from the app.

Sync the watch after enabling these features.

Even if the notifications are not coming, switch off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch on OR restart your phone

Try uninstalling and installing the boAt Wearables and then start binding process with the watch and check if the issue is still persisting or not.

Reset the watch and check if the function is working or not.

Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)

Note 1: Make sure you enable music control from the app first.

Note 2: Make sure the watch is connected with the app.

  1. In order to sync the data to the boAt Wearables App, connect the Wave Voice to the media device via the Wave app and go to the app’s homepage, drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.

  2. Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and watch and Wearables app are nearby when you are syncing the data.

  3. If the app is taking too long to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.

    Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

  1. We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist.

  2. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature.

While listening to music, users can play, Pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track and control the volume of the music.

  1. Make sure you have enabled auto brightness from the watch or the app.

  2. Auto brightness will only work according to time set on the app.

Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

Measure your night sleep automatically. Sleep duration and classification details (Deep, light, REM,Awake)are available on the watch and the app.

Sleep will not be recorded if you have sleep time less than 3 hours

Sync the watch with the app in the morning to view sleep data

Note: Data might not be recorded correctly if a lot of movement is noticed between 6-8 AM

  1. Check if the user is having hairs, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

  2. Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.​

Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

Blood pressure monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.

Yes, the Wave Voice has a camera control feature

There are 10 sports modes on the watch.

Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode

The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate.There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information. Red light is the blood oxygen sensor

No, you cannot change the intensity or the number of vibrations for any alert.

Make sure the screen is not scratched anywhere to avoid screen damage. As screens are delicate part it should be handled with care.

Long press the button located on the right side of the Watch, it would lead to turning the watch on

1. While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead

to entering the different modes on the Watch.

(i) Sport – For tracking the exercises done by the users.

(ii) Heart Rate – For measuring the heart rate of the users.

(iii) Blood Oxygen – For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in

the user’s blood

(iv) Blood Pressure – For measuring the blood pressure of the users

(v) Guided Breathing Mode – For breathing exercise of the users

(vi) Alarm – To set up alarm for the users

(vii) Music Control – To control the music from the watch when the users

are listening to music

(vii) Timer – To set up timer for the users when in need

(viii) Settings – To enter in to the settings of the watch

1. There are different exercises which can be tracked via Sports Mode.

(i) Walking (ii) Running (iii) Cycling (iv) Climbing (v) Yoga (vi) Badminton (vii)

Basketball (viii) Football (ix) Skipping (x) Swimming.

2. Select any one of the exercises before starting that particular exercise.

3. Short press side button to start/pause that particular exercise

4. To stop that particular exercise tracking session, long press the side button.

watch on the wrist.

Bring your wrist close to your heart and try to hold the arm still. This

will enable the watch to show the reading of the spO2 in the blood of

the user on the watch’s screen

2. Choose your preferred time for breath in and breath out and relax to undergo the breathing exercise.
