Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end which is a USB-A end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.

  2. The watch Storm Call’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.

  3. If the watch Storm Call is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V 2A rated power adapter.

  1. Check if the charging connector (magnetic pins) behind the watch as well as on the charging cable is clean and rust free.

  2. Try cleaning it with an alchohol swab.

Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Storm Call’s battery. 

  1. Before using the Watch Storm Call for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specifications of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Storm Call as long as the above norms are followed.

Process 1: Via QR Code Scanning

1. Connect the device with the boAt Wearables App

2. Select Storm Call on the home screen of the app and click on "Pair" to connect

3. Once you are connected, there will be another prompt on the app screen to connect with classic Bluetooth. Tap on pair to connect with CALL BT and use the Bluetooth Calling feature.

4. To use all features of your Storm Call seamlessly. Tap on "Yes" to the "Connection" and "Grant Access" system prompt

5. Turn your phone's Bluetooth and GPS On

Process 2: ​Via Searching the app on Google Play or Apple Play Store

1. On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search bar, type ‘boAt Wearables App’ and enter search.

2. You will see the boAt Wearables app in the search result list.

3. Click on the install button to install boAt Wearables app on the user’s media device.

Step 1: After installing the boAt Wearables app, turn the watch Storm Call on and open the Wearables app on the user’s device. Click on the ‘Start Setup’ on the Wearables app to switch on the Bluetooth on the user’s device. Accept the privacy policy to continue.

Step 2: The previous process would enable the user to search for the Watch Storm Call to connect with the Wearables app as it would enable the Bluetooth of the device.

Step 3: Once the Watch Storm Call is found via Bluetooth, it will show on the Wearables app. Click on the ‘Storm Call’ Device and then click on the ‘Pair’ button to start paring Watch Storm Call with the boAt Wearables app. Once the connection is successful all the fitness data stored on the Watch Storm Call will sync automatically on the Wearables app.

Note: Do not connect you smart watch directly with your phone's Bluetooth. Connect it through the "boAt Wearabless App" in your phone

  1. Check to see if the device with which is trying to connect Watch Storm Call are using Android 4.4/ iOS 8.0 or above OS version in their respective devices.

  2. Check if users have downloaded and installed boAt Wearables app their smartphones or not. It is necessary to accept and agree to all the T&C and permissions including the location services on the device.

  3. Make sure the Watch Storm Call in not directly connected with the smartphone’s Bluetooth, the users have to connect it via the boAt Wearables app.

  4. Make sure the Bluetooth of users’ device is on and try to bind the watch with the boAt Wearables app. Once the device is discoverable, it will display on the app screen, click to connect the device with the app.

  1. The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.

  2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

  3. Make sure the app is running in background always.

1. Keep the boAt Wearabless App updated to the latest version.

2. Close all the programs on the watch >> Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS >> Connect again .

3. Check and enable notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.

Note: Make sure your phone supports Android 6.0 and above. The iOS phones should support iOS 12.0 and above.

  • Make sure your watch is connected to both: your App and your the phone's Bluetooth. If not, search for CALL BT in the phone's Bluetooth setting, pair the watch with it. Also, make sure that the call notification is enabled from the App.

  • In idle mode, the watch will disable the classic Bluetooth 3.0 to save the battery

  • Make sure the smart reminders on the app are On and synced to the Storm Call.

  • Also, ensure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then your smart watch will display those notifications.

  • Make sure that the App is running in the background and battery optimization feature on the phone is disabled.

Functions like Call & Text Notifications, Find My Phone, Music Control, Camera Control, Weather Forecast, Cloud and Custom Watch Faces and Bluetooth Calling need the Bluetooth connectivity to work.

  1. Before using the Watch Delta for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Delta as long as the above norms are followed.

  1. Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

  2. Sleep data is estimated primarily by the movements. Once you lay down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep.

  1. Check if the user is having hairs, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

  2. Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

Your watch is tracking the movement of your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

Blood pressure monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.
