Troubleshooting FAQs

boAt Lunar Pro LTEneeds the boAt LTE app to be installed on the users’ media devices. It is available on both Google Play Store (Android 7.0 and above) and Apple App Store ( iOS 12.0 and above) to be downloaded and installed into the users’ devices to use and utilize the Lunar Pro LTE's full functionality-

Step 1: Via QR Code Scanning

  • Find the QR code on the product manual of the Lunar Pro LTE for installing the boAt LTE app on the media devices of the users.

  • Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the. Lunar Pro LTE

  • Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the boAt LTE app on the user’s device.

Step 2: Via searching the App on Google Play or Apple Play Store​

  • On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search-bar, type ‘boAt LTE app’ and enter search.

  • You will see the boAt LTE app in the search result list.

  • Click on the install button to install boAt LTE app on the user’s media device

First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 12 and above.

  1. Download the boAt LTE app application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.

  2. When you open the app, please allow all permissions.

  3. Register with your email address by accepting the terms and

  4. conditions.

  5. You will receive a verification code on your email. Enter the verification code in the app.

  6. Set a password, then enter your height, weight and birthday. Set your exercise goal. Follow the instructions on the App.

  7. Click on the LUNARPROLTE_XXXX to pair the LUNAR PRO LTE Smartwatch with your phone.

  8. This will complete the pairing process after which the LUNAR PRO LTE Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

  9. This process would enable the user to search for the Lunar Pro LTE to connect with the LTE app as it would enable the Bluetooth of the device.

First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 12 and above. It is necessary to accept and agree to all the terms and permissions, including the location services also.

  1. Download the boAt LTE app application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.

  2. When you open the app, please allow all permissions.

  3. Register your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.

  4. You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.

  5. Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Active Plus

  6. smartwatch in the available device list. Click on the LUNARPROLTE_BT pair the Lunar Pro LTE Smartwatch with your phone.

  7. This will complete the pairing process after which the Smartwatch will start syncing with the app.

  1. The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 7-10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other

  2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again

  3. Make sure the app is running in background always

  1. Make sure your phone and watch are connected through Bluetooth.

  2. Click on the BT call icon on the top left corner of the home dashboard (initially it will be red).

  3. Click on Pair Now.

  4. A popup for pairing with LUNARPROLTE_XXXX should come. Click on Pair & connect.

  5. BT call will be connected now and the BT call icon on the home dashboard will appear green

For Jio users :

  1. Insert the new sim in your smartphone

  2. Connect your watch to boAt LTE App

  3. Send the following SMS to 199

  4. GETESIM (Your smartwatch’s EID No. and IMEI No.). (Note: You can find the EID and IMEI No. on the boAt LTE App or on your smartwatch)

  5. Check for the QR Code sent on your registered email with your physical sim card. (Note: Use a separate device like a laptop or another phone to perform this step)

  6. Go to boAt LTE App> Click on Devices>e-sim Management>Click on Jio

  7. Select the QR Code option>Click on scan QR Code>Scan the code received on your email.

OR

Alternatively, go to your nearest Jio store to get your e-sim started on your Lunar Pro LTE.

For Airtel users :

  1. Insert the new sim in your smartphone

  2. Connect your watch to boAt LTE App

  3. Select ‘Airtel’ & copy <your smartwatch’s 32 digit EID No.>

  4. Download & open ‘Airtel Thanks App’

  5. Click on ‘Upgrade to Esim’ > Enter your Airtel Phone no > Click on another device > Enter <32 Digit EID Number>

  6. Tap to ‘Get eSim via OTP’. Once you receive the OTP, the e-sim profile will start to download on your smartwatch.

OR

You can visit a nearby Airtel store to get your e-sim started on your Lunar Pro LTE.

  • The watch only supports Esim feature for Jio and Airtel users.

  • You can visit the nearest Jio store to buy a new E-sim or you can change your existing sim to E-sim.

  • Yes, you can convert the existing sim to the esim by visiting the nearest Jio or airtel store.

(Note: If you change the existing sim to E-sim. In that case the existing number would stop working in your mobile and will only be enabled in the smartwatch)

  • Visit the nearest Jio store and after buying the E-sim ask for the boAt-Jio plan by showing the IMEI number of the smartwatch

  • Yes, it's possible, but you'll need assistance from the service operator to complete the KYC process.

  • No, the eSim number you use on the smartwatch has to be a standalone number.

  1. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end which is an USB-A end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.

  2. The Lunar Pro LTE display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.

Note:

•If the Lunar Pro LTE is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V 2A rated power adapter

  1. Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.

  2. Try cleaning the magnetic charging connector available on the back panel of the watch as well as the one available on the charging cable with an alchohol swab. You can also use a cotton slightly dipped in spirit based sanitizer/ alcohol. After cleaning just wipe the surface with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain there.

  3. Try using an alternate adapter that has an output of 5V 2A.

  • Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watchLunar Pro LTE’s battery. 

  1. Before using the Watch Lunar Pro LTEfor the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Lunar Pro LTEas long as the above norms are followed.

  1. Make sure call alert and message alert are enabled from the app and most importantly disable Battery Optimization.

  2. Sync the watch after enabling these features.

  3. Even if the notifications are not coming, switch off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch on OR restart your phone

  4. Try to uninstall and then re-install the boAt LTE app by disabling battery optimization and Auto-start options and then start binding process with the watch and check if the issue is still persisting or not.

  5. Reset the watch and check if the function is working or not.

  1. In order to sync the data to the boAt LTE app app, connect the Lunar Pro LTE to the media device via the boAt LTE appand go to the app’s homepage, drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.

  2. Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and watch and boAt LTE app are nearby when you are syncing the data.

  3. If the app is taking too long time to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.

Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

  1. We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist.

  2. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

  • In order to access watch faces from the app, users should log in to the app first

  1. Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

  2. Measure your night sleep automatically. Sleep duration and classification details (Deep, light, REM,Awake)are available on the watch and the app.

  3. Sleep will not be recorded if you have sleep time less than 3 hours

  4. Sync the watch with the app in the morning to view sleep data

Note: Data might not be recorded correctly if a lot of movement is noticed between 6-8 AM

  1. Short press side button-> sleep -> view sleep record.

  2. To see the detailed sleep pattern, sync your watch with the app

  1. Check if the user is having hair, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

  2. Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.​

  • Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

  • spO2 and Heart Rate monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment

  • In order to access watch faces from the app, users should log in to the app first

  • Yes, go to the main menu> sports> scroll to the end of the sports list and find 'Sports Settings> Select "Motion " and within the options, click on "Automatic Detect".

(Note: Auto-detection works on for walking, cycling, or running.)

  • Yes, Go to main menu>Go to the settings, then go to Function Key Setting, and you can change the button's functionality as needed.

  1. Yes, you can connect a neckband or TWS to the watch.

  2. To connect Swipe down from the home screen. In quick settings you'll find the TWS option.

  3. In the TWS menu, click on the search icon. Your smartwatch will start searching for nearby TWS devices.

  • Yes, you can pair both together, but if there's an ongoing LTE call, Bluetooth calls or notifications won't be received on the watch and vice-versa.

  • Typically, around 2 days if calling is connected. Enabling power-saving mode can enhance battery performance.

  • You can save approximately 200 contacts.

  • The health feature serves as a comprehensive solution for recording daily activity data, such as steps, calories burned, sports activities, HIIT, and weekly data.

  • When enabled, persistent mode extends the battery life, supporting step tracking, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. Long-press the top button to disable this mode.

  • Activating airplane mode disables the network/data on the watch, allowing you to use other features without connectivity.

  • Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode

  1. The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate.There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information.

  2. Red light is the blood oxygen sensor

  • Yes, it can be changed.

  1. There are 100+ default watch faces available on the watch.

  2. Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces, add your preferred watch face.

  1. Yes, step counting, Heart rate monitoring, calorie count and sports modes can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected

  2. Watch has some internal memory to record this data.

  3. Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

  1. Long press the upper side button of the Lunar Pro LTE it would lead to turning the watch On

  2. Raise your wrist to wake up the screen of the watch

  • While the Lunar Pro LTE on, long press on the upper side button for shut down power off option, this would lead to turning the watch off.

  • Short Press the upper side button to enter the main menu

•While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on the Lunar Pro LTE

•There are following mode options on the menu of the Lunar Pro LTE

  1. Heart Rate : For measuring the heart rate of the users.

  2. Blood Oxygen : For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood

  3. Sleep Mode : For measuring the sleep hours of the users

  4. Stress Monitor : To check stress levels of users and Relax Mode – For breathing exercise of the users

  5. Breathing Mode : For breathing exercise of the users (Note:- This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols)

  6. Timer : To set up timer for the users when in need

  7. Settings : To enter into the settings of the watch

  1. There are 100+ activity modes available in the watch Walking, treadmill, running, badminton, football, basketball, Tennis, yoga, etc. You can access any out of these.

  2. Select the gender, add height and weight. You can view more activities by clicking on the more option.

  3. You can pre-set your goal as well for each activity. Click on settings to turn on/off the automatic motion detect and to set the lap mode

  • On the App home dashboard> Tap on "Heart rate” card and you can view all your historical heart rate readings. You can view your Resting HR, Abnormal HR, and heart rate data like Warm up, burn fat, heart boost, and anaerobic.

  1. You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app

  2. Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to SPO2>> Tap measure.

  3. Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boAt LTE app app.

  4. You can also check the blood oxygen for the week, turn on/off the monitoring, and abnormal blood oxygen reminders.

  1. This feature will allow users to monitor and rate the quality of breathing. Breath exercise (Inhale/Exhale pattern) on the watch for selected duration and rhythm

  2. It is a feature available on the watch where users can use it to do breathing exercises.

  1. Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to Sleep>>

  2. Once the asleep criteria are met, your smartwatch will start recording from 8 pm at night to 10 am in the morning the next day.

  3. Tap on the icon to review the sleep data of the previous night.

  4. Open the ‘boAt LTE app’ app and you will find “More” on the lower right-hand side on the home page of the app.

  5. You can check sleep distribution, sleep heart rate, and sleep oxygen by swiping left.

  6. You can also schedule sleep time, exclude monitoring time, and 24hr heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring.

  7. You can also track sleep scores on the boAt LTE app

  1. There are 100+ default watch faces available on the watch. Long press on the watch home screen to view default watch faces, select and add your preferred watch face.

  2. Tap on 'settings' on the home dashboard. Go to Lunar Pro LTE settings > watch Faces. Under the Watch faces option, select the watch face you want to set on your watch & click apply.

  • You can control the brightness level of the watch by swiping down from the watch home screen and change the brightness level.
