Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable which comes with the watch package on the charging pad of the watch which is located on the back of the watch and connect the other end which is an USB-A end to a 5V, 2A rated power adapter or power bank or a computer.

  2. The Watch Lunar Call’s display would show the charging status and charging percentage while charging.

Note: If the Watch Lunar Call is connected to a computer USB port for charging, the speed of charging would be less as the power pushed by the USB port of a computer is less than the 5V 2A rated power adapter.

  1. Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.

  2. Try cleaning it with an alchohol swab.

  3. If the problem still persists, kindly replace the product.

  • Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Lunar Call’s battery. 

  1. Before using the Watch Lunar Call for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Lunar Call as long as the above norms are followed.

Lunar Call needs boAt crest app to be installed on the users’ media devices. It is available on both

Google Play Store and Apple App Store to be downloaded and installed into the users’ devices to use

and utilise the Lunar Call’s full functionality-

Step 1: Via QR Code Scanning

  • Find the QR code on the product manual of the Lunar Call for installing the boat Crest App on the media devices of the users.

  • Open the QR Code Scanner app on the user’s devices and scan the code present on the user manual of the Lunar Call.

  • Thereafter, follow the on-screen instructions to install the boat crest app on the user’s device.

Step 2: Via searching the App on Google Play or Apple Play Store​

  • On Google Play or Apple App Store, in the search-bar, type ‘boAt Crest’ and enter search.

  • You will see the boat Crest app in the search result list.

  • Click on the install button to install boat crest app on the user’s media device.

First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 12 and above.

  1. Download the boAt Crest application, from Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS.

  2. When you open the app, please allow all permissions.

  3. Register with your mobile number by accepting the terms and conditions.

  4. You will receive a verification code as an SMS. Enter the verification code in the app.

  5. Follow the instructions on the App and you will find Lunar Call smartwatch in the available device list.

  1. Keep the boAt Crest app updated to the latest version

  2. Close all the programs on the watch → Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS → Connect again

  3. Check and enable the notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.

Note: Make sure your phone system meets Android 7.0 and above and iOS 12.0 and above.

  1. The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 7-10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.

  2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

  3. Make sure the app is running in background always.

  1. Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, spO2, time can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.

  2. Watch has some internal memory to record this data.

  3. Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.

  1. Disable the battery optimization feature.

  2. Make sure smart reminders (call alert and message alert are enabled ) on the app are on and synced to the watch.

    Also make sure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then will your smartwatch also display those notifications.

  3. Even if the notifications are not coming, switch off your phone’s Bluetooth and again switch on OR restart your phone

  4. Try uninstalling and installing the boAt Crest app, allow all the permissions except for battery optimization and then start binding process with the watch.

  5. Reset the watch and check if the function is working or not.

  1. Open the boAt Crest app, pair the watch with the app first.

  2. Once paired you will get the pop up on the app home screen to connect with Phone’s Bluetooth

  3. Click on “pair” to connect with phone’s Bluetooth

  4. Alternatively, you can go to phone’s Bluetooth settings and pair “LUNARCONNECTBT” to start the calling feature on your watch

  1. Check if after long pressing the Multi-function button, the watch is switching on or not. Flicking the wrist is enabling waking up the watch display or not.

  2. Check to charge the watch fully with the magnetic charging cable supplied with it via 5V 2A charging adapter or via a power bank or via a computer.

  3. Check if any customer induced damage is there or not in the Lunar Call. Check if any customer liquid damages are there or not in the watch storm

Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)

Note 1: Make sure you enable music control from the app first.

Note 2: Make sure the watch is connected with the app.

  1. In order to sync the data to the boAt crest app, connect the Lunar Call to the media device via the boat crest app and go to the app’s homepage, drag down the screen. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.

  2. Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and watch and Crest app are nearby when you are syncing the data

  3. If the app is taking too long time to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.

Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

  1. We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist.

  2. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

  1. Inside the menu click on the 'Music Control' icon on the watch to enter into the music control feature.

  2. While listening to music, users can play, pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track and control the volume of the music.

Note : This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.

  1. Make sure you have enabled auto brightness from the watch or the app.

  2. Auto brightness will only work according to time set on the app.

  • Once you wake up, do sync the watch with the app to view sleep records

  1. Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

  2. Sleep data is estimated by primarily movement. Once you are laid down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep.

  1. Check if the user is having hairs, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wearing the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

  2. Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.​

  1. Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

  2. Ensure that your app and the watch are synchronized.

  • Make sure your watch is connected to your phone through the app and not your phone’s Bluetooth feature itself.

Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode

The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate. There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information. Red light is the blood oxygen sensor.

  • No, users cannot change the intensity or the number of vibrations for any alert.

  • Rotate the side button to change the watch face.

  • Long press the side button of the Lunar Call, it would lead to turning the watch on

  • Long press the button located on the side of the Lunar Call it would lead to turning the watch off

  • Short press the side button from the home screen would lead to opening the menu.

  • While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on the Lunar Call.

  • There are following mode options on the menu of the Lunar Call -

  1. Sport – For tracking the exercises done by the users.

  2. Dial - to access contacts, phone pad and history.

  3. Heart Rate – For measuring the heart rate of the users.

  4. Blood Oxygen – For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood

  5. Stress Monitor - To check stress levels of users and Relax Mode – For breathing exercise of the users

  6. Alarm – To set up alarm for the users

  7. Music Control – To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music

  8. Timer – To set up timer for the users when in need

  9. Setting – To enter in to the settings of the watch.

  10. Sleep Monitor - To track sleep of users.

  11. Find my Phone - To ring the phone when the user is trying to locate their phone connected to the watch.

  1. There are many different exercises which can be tracked via Sports Mode. Running, Treadmill, Walking, Cycling, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Yoga, Free Movement.

  2. Select any one of the exercises before starting that particular exercise.

  3. Press side button to pause/resume that particular exercise.

  4. To stop that exercise tracking session, press the side button and tap on the X icon.

  1. Inside the menu, click on the ‘Heart Rate’ icon while wearing the watch on the wrist.

  2. Bring your wrist close to your heart. This will enable the watch to show the heart rate reading of the user on the watch’s screen.

  1. Inside the menu, click on the ‘Blood Oxygen’ icon while wearing the watch on the wrist.

  2. Try to hold the arm still. This will enable the watch to show the reading of the spO2 in the blood of the user on the watch’s screen
