Troubleshooting FAQs
General FAQs
To restart or turn the watch on/off, long press the side button for 3-5 seconds.
Raise your wrist to wake up the screen of the watch.
While Ultima Summit is on, long press the side button to use the shutdown/power off option. This would lead to the watch turning off
Swipe right from the home screen to open various modes.
Swipe down on the home screen for the shortcut menu.
The functions in the shortcut menu include: DND, Settings, App QR Code, Brightness, Alarm, Always On Display, and Bluetooth Calling.
Method 1: Using the Power Button : Rotate the side button to change the default watch face from the available options.
Method 2: Long Press on the Home Screen: Long press on Watch’s home screen: User can also long press the home screen to change the available default watch faces.
Swipe up on the home screen of the watch to review the notifications of the connected media device.
While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on Ultima Summit. There are the following mode options on the menu of Ultima Summit:
Steps: For tracking daily activities like step count, distance travelled, etc.
Activity: This feature allows the user to check the step count, calories burnt, and distance covered.
Sleep Monitor: For reviewing the user’s sleep data for the previous night
Stress: This is used to measure the stress level of the user
Breathe Exercise: For breathing exercise of the users.
Weather: To get the weather forecast and updates on the go
Calendar: For users to check their schedule and upcoming events.
Music: For users to conveniently listen to their favorite tunes
SpO2: For users to measure blood oxygen levels, which can help you understand your respiratory health
There are multiple default activities on the watch. You can also add or replace the activities according to your preference using the boAt Crest app.
Tap on any workout mode to start, and the watch will start recording the duration of the activity.
Press the lower side button or swipe right to pause or stop the activity. The activity will not be recorded if it is less than 3 minutes duration.
Open the ‘boAt Crest’ app.
Go to Profile >> My goals.
Tap on the ‘Edit’ option in the Step Goal card.
You can set your daily step target in the ‘Your Steps Goal’ section and tap on ‘Update Steps Goal’ to update the step target. Note: The steps can also be modified later according to your convenience.
From the watch home screen, >> Swipe left or right to reach the 'Heart Rate' icon >> Tap on Heart Rate.
Your heart rate measurement will get started, stay still while HEART RATE measurement is in progress, and you can see the heart rate value on the screen.
You can measure it on the watch. A user can view the details on the app
Swipe left from the watch home screen >> Go to SPO2>> Tap measure.
Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boAt Crest app
The user can view the details on the app.
There are 6 default watch faces available on the watch.
Go to Settings > Watch Faces. Under the Watch Faces option, select the watch face you want to set on your watch & click apply.
Alternatively, long press on the watch home screen to view or switch between the default watch faces; select add your preferred watch face.
Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter the music control feature.
While listening to music, users can play, pause, move back to the previous track, jump forward to the next track and control the volume of the music.
Note: This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols.
Inside the menu, click on the ‘Camera Control’ icon on the watch to access the remote camera.
Click again on the camera icon to open the camera app on the media device. Note: Turn the camera on from your phone to use this feature.
Go to the Menu of the watch.
Inside the menu, select the ‘Settings’ option.
Inside the ‘Settings’ option, select ‘Brightness’ option.
Brightness of the watch screen can be changed as per the user’s preference using the slider. Slide the bar upwards to increase the brightness and slide it down to reduce the brightness
Users can upload a custom watch face with images from their device.
Open the boAt crest app >> Go to the “My Watch” section >> “Change watch Face” >> my creation and click on “Create a watch face”.
Select a background ‘Image’ from your gallery.
Choose the parameters to add to the background (Time, Date, Steps, Distance, Calories, Heart Rate, Battery).
Click on “Update on the watch”.
It is necessary to accept and agree to all the terms and permissions, including the location services.
All permissions should be allowed when opening the app.
It is a feature available on the watch where users can use it to do breathing exercises.
This feature will allow users to monitor and rate the quality of breathing.
Click on the breath exercises icon to regulate your breathing by doing breathing exercises.
You can set the time and intensity level of the exercise
Yes, Ultima Summit does have a camera feature.
Yes, users can set individual goals for every sports mode.
Yes, step counting, heart rate monitoring, calorie counting and sports modes can be recorded directly on your watch while your phone is not connected.
The watch has some internal memory to record this data.
Once you are in contact with your phone, you can sync the data to the app.
Users can also set the background image to any selected watch face from the app.
The green lights are used to monitor your heart rate.
There is an optical sensor that detects the passage of the blood and then estimates the heart rate based on that information.
Red light is the blood oxygen sensor.
Your stress can be recorded according to the heart rate variability.
The levels are: 1-29 % relax; 30-59% normal; 60-79% medium; 80-99% high.
The water resistance level of the Ultima Summit smartwatch is IP68.
