The process for enabling Smart Ring Gen 1 features on the boAt Ring App is mentioned below:

1. Make sure your phone and ring are connected through Bluetooth.

2. Click on the My Ring icon on the top of the control dashboard in the app.

3. Click on Bind the ring. Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth connection is on.

4. A popup for pairing with boatRing_BT should come. Click on Pair & connect.

5. Ring will be connected now and you would be able to see details of your ring on the top of control dashboard.

First, make sure that your phone version is either on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 12 and above. It is necessary to accept and agree to all the terms and permissions, including the location services also:

1. Download the app on your phone. Available on both App Store (iOS 12.0 and above) and Google Play Store (Android 8.0 and above) OR Scan [QR CODE]

2. Activate automatically by placing the ring on the charging base. (Every time you bind the ring, you need to put it on the charging seat, Keep it charged）

3. Connect the device with the app; ensure that the phone’s Bluetooth, as well as the GPS functionalities, are turned on

4. Open the app, go to the life feature and search for the Bluetooth ring.

5. You will get an alert to connect with boatRing_BT, click pair.

6. To use all features of your Smartring Gen 1 seamlessly, tap on ‘yes’ to the ‘connection’ and ‘grant access’ system prompt.

1. The operational distance for Bluetooth is 7-10m. It is ideal that a phone and boAT Ring is in direct contact with each other.

2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch it off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

3. Make sure the app is running in background always

• Battery charge status is shown on the app control dashboard with the percentage of the charge remaining on the Smartring Gen 1

• Before using the Smartring Gen 1 for the first time, please fully charge the smartring first.

• Any other accessories could be used for charging the as long as the above norms are followed.

1. Make sure your ring is connected with the Bluetooth.

2. Go to the app> on right most bottom go to control feature>On the control dashboard you will able to see smart touch feature.

3. Enable the smart touch feature to use the touch sensor on the ring.

4. Select the smart touch mode you need, then you can use remotely control you phone, tablet or other devices by the touch gesture.

1. In order to sync the data to the boAT Ring app, connect the Smartring Gen 1 to the media device via the boAT Ring and go to the app’s control homepage, on top of dashboard you will se my ring icon, click on that. This will start the syncing process and data will be synced to the app.

2. Make sure you are in Bluetooth range and boAT Ring and boAt ring app are nearby when you are syncing the data.

3. If the app is taking too long time to sync or it gets stuck while syncing, unbind the device with the app and reconnect again.

Note: Try to sync the data of the app at least once in every 7 days to avoid huge data to be synced in a single go and to avoid any data loss.

1. Make sure you wear the boAT Ring while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

2. Measure your night sleep automatically. Sleep duration and classification details (Deep, light, REM,Awake)are available on the boAT Ring app.

3. Sleep will not be recorded if you have sleep time less than 3 hours

4. Sync the boAT Ring with the app in the morning to view sleep data

Note: Data might not be recorded correctly if a lot of movement is noticed between 6-8 AM

• Check if the user is having hair, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the boAT Ring too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

• Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid

• Your boAt Ring is tracking the movement if your hand so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected

• spO2 and Heart Rate monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This boAT Ring is not a medical grade equipment.

1. To use the sensor> Go to the app>Click on control feature> Enable the smart touch option.

2. Make sure your ring is connected with Bluetooth.

• To turn off the smart touch application> Go to the app>Click on control feature> disable the smart touch option.

Note: The smart touch application will automatically sleep, in case of no touch detection on the ring.

• There are following mode options on the menu of the Smartring Gen 1

1. Heart Rate – For measuring the heart rate of the users.

2. Blood Oxygen – For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood

3. Sleep Mode- For measuring the sleep hours of the users

4. Body Temperature- To check the body temperature of users

5. Fitness- To check the steps, distance, calories of the user. And to start exercising and check records.

6. Menstrual Cycle – To keep a track on female menstrual cycle of the user

7. SOS – To use in case of emergency

1. Go to the fitness feature in the app>Go to start exercise in the fitness dashboard.

2. There are 3 activities modes available in the ring Running, Walking, and riding. You can access any out of these.

3. Select from indoor and outdoor mode, Click on the GO button.

4. You can pause or end the activity by clicking on the app. If the activity is less than 3 mins, it will not be recorded.

• On the App go to Status dashboard> On top of dashboard after the recovery status you will see "Heart rate” card and you can view all your historical heart rate readings. You can view your Highest, Average, and lowest heart rate data along with daily, weekly and monthly record.

2. On the App go to Status dashboard> After the Heart rate feature, you will see SP02 card. Click on measure to start measuring.

3. Post your measurement, Please sync the SPO2 values to your boAT Ring app.

5. You can check sleep distribution, sleep heart rate by scrolling down.

1. Enable the SOS function and trigger emergency SOS by the touch area of the ring.

2. Go to SOS records to check the SOS records.

• Yes, step counting, Heart rate monitoring, calorie count and sports modes can be recorded directly on your boAT Ring only while your phone is within the range of the ring connected.

• Recovery status monitoring shows the recovery report. The report consists of overall health data along with last night sleep, activity of previous day and Heart rate.
