1. Keep the boAt Wearables app updated to the latest version

2. Close all the programs on the watch → Stop and restart Bluetooth and GPS → Connect again

3. Check and enable the notification functions of your phone and keep the phone and watch in close contact.

Note: Make sure your phone system meets Android 7.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.

1. The operational distance for the Bluetooth is 10m. It is ideal that phone and watch is in direct contact with each other.

2. If still the Bluetooth is disconnecting, close the app, switch off and on the Bluetooth and start the app again.

3. Make sure the app is running in background always.

1. Make sure your phone and watch are connected through Bluetooth.

2. Click on the BT call icon on the top left corner of the home dashboard (initially it will be red).

3. Click on Pair Now.

4. A popup for pairing with ENIGMAZ40_BT should come. Click on Pair & connect.

5. BT call will be connected now and the BT call icon on the home dashboard will appear green

1. Check if the charging connector behind the watch is clean and rust free.

2. Try cleaning the charging pins with an alchohol swab / a cotton bud dipped slighly in sanitizer spirit. Once cleaned, wipe the surface with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on it.

3. Ensure that the charger specification is of 5V 2A (Output)

• ​Battery charge status is shown on the watch homepage with the percentage of the charge remaining on the watch Enigma Z40’s battery. 

1. Before using the Watch Enigma Z40 for the first time, please fully charge the smartwatch first.

3. Any other accessories could be used for charging the Watch Enigma Z40 as long as the above norms are followed.

1. Make sure the smart reminders on the app are On and synced to the Enigma Z40.

2. Also, ensure your notification center of the phone is displaying messages. Only then your smart watch will display those notifications.

3. Ensure that the App is running in the background and battery optimization feature on the phone is disabled.

• Your watch is tracking the movement if your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected

1. We have designed the watch so that the display is active on a slight flick of the wrist. The tracker may take a second or two to light up the screen.

2. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid

1. Make sure you wear the watch while sleeping in order to track the sleep data.

2. Sleep data is estimated primarily by the movements. Once you lay down, the watch will take approximately an hour to assume that you have gone to sleep.

1. Check if the user is having hair, tattoo, skin complexion, scaring, wear the watch too lose or too tight might affect the readings.

2. Check if the heart rate sensor which is there on the bottom of the watch is glowing in green or not. If the sensor is working properly the sensor should glow in green colour.

3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

• Your watch is tracking the movement of your wrist so if you are doing something that requires a lot of hand movement then step count can be affected.

• Blood pressure monitoring is only for the reference, data may not match with the medical equipment. This watch is not a medical grade equipment.

• Make sure your watch is connected to your phone through the app and not your phone’s Bluetooth feature itself.

• Open the music player on your phone, select a song which you want to play, and control from music (play/pause/next/previous/volume up down)

• While the user is inside the menu, tapping the several icons would lead to entering the different modes on Enigma Z40

• There are following mode options on the menu of the Enigma Z40

1. Heart Rate : For measuring the heart rate of the users.

2. Blood Oxygen : For Measuring the saturation level of oxygen (spO2) in the user’s blood

3. Sleep Mode : For measuring the sleep hours of the users

4. Women Health : To check stress levels of users and Relax Mode – For breathing exercise of the users

5. Alarm : To set up alarm for the users

6. Music Control : To control the music from the watch when the users are listening to music (Note :This feature might not work for some of the music apps with different control protocols)

7. Call Records : To view recently received, missed and outgoing call logs

8. Timer : To set up timer for the users when in need

9. Setting : To enter in to the settings of the watch.

1. There are 20 sports modes available in the watch Walking, Running, Mountaineering, Riding, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Elliptical, Yoga, Table tennis, Rope skipping, Tennis, Baseball, Rugby, Hula hoop, Golf, Long jump, Sit-ups, and volleyball.

2. Select any one of the exercises before starting that exercise.

1. On the App home dashboard> Tap on "Heart rate” card and you can view all your historical heart rate readings.

2. You can view your Min and Max HR for the day. You can also access the history through the app by tapping on the history icon and can also filter the details based on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis.

1. Inside the menu, click on the ‘Music Control’ icon on the watch to enter the music control feature.

2. While listening to music users can play, Pause, move back to previous track, jump forward to next track, and control the volume of the music.

1. You can control the brightness level of the watch by swiping down from the watch home screen & change the brightness level or by the settings feature in the smart watch
