Troubleshooting FAQs

Charging

  1. Open the battery case and insert two AAA batteries and close the case.

  2. Keep the remote controller within 5m range, aiming around 30 degree at the unit.

Note: It is advisable to remove the batteries when the unit is not being used for a long period of time.

Poor Sound Quality

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

  6. Check if the speaker does not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

  1. Check if restarting the speaker resolves the issue.

  2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

  3. Check if there are any obstructions between the speaker and the device, move the device at a closer range to the speaker and see if it still affects it.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e., the jack is properly inserted into the device for AUX, SD card is properly functioning for SD mode, properly paired for Bluetooth mode.

  3. Try connecting through a different connection mode or media device.

  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

Connectivity

  1. To switch to Bluetooth mode, turn ON the Bluetooth functionality on your phone or media device.

  2. Search for "Blitz 1500" from the list of available devices nearby and selevct the same.

The speaker may not be in pairing mode. Check by tapping the Mode button or restart the speaker to search again.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue and if the speaker is in Aux mode by short pressing the ‘Mode’ button.

  2. Check if you have connected the aux cable properly and in the correct orientation on both ends.

  3. Check if the problem persists even after using a different cable or different device to connect to the speaker.

  1. Connect a USB drive to the speaker and switch to USB mode to play songs from USB.

  2. Please note that the USB drive must be in FAT32 format and the songs are placed in the root folder i.e., not inside any subfolder on the USB drive.

Other Functional Issues

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

  2. Check if the device is in aux mode because the remote buttons will not work in aux mode

  3. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players

  4. Check if the remote control has been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards

  5. Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source. 

  6. Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit. 

  7. Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated. 

  8. Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type, try to replace the battery. 

  9. Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

  1. Check by switching the speaker on manually, press and hold the power on button for at least 3 seconds.

  2. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

FM Functionality

  1. Please make sure the attached FM signal wire is in a suitable position to catch FM signals, i.e., nearby balconies or open areas where the signal is clear. If the signal is still distorted try adjusting the wire position or speaker position and see if it improves.

  2. Use the play/pause button on the speaker or remote to auto-search the channels again and see if they pop up.

  3. The tune button on the remote or the next button on the speaker can be used to surf through the available channels.

General FAQs

Technology

Yes, it does have an in-built FM.

Blitz 1500 comes with support for multiple EQ modes that include Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country. One also has full control over the bass with a bass knob to increase or decrease bass level.

Blitz 1500 comes with support for many forms of media entertainment. However, it is not meant to be used for hardcore gaming.

No Blitz 1500 does not come with Dolby Atmos support.

No Blitz 1500 does not have an HDMI port.

Device Controls

No, the RGB lights cannot be used as ambient disco lights.

  1. Previous Button: Single tap to go to previous song on the playlist or previous FM channel.

  2. Play/Pause Button: Single tap to play/pause the playback. In FM Mode, long press the auto search channels, short press to stop the auto search. In Bluetooth Mode, long press to disconnect.

  3. Next Button: Single tap to go to the next song on the playlist or nectFM channel.

  4. Volume Up (+): Tap to increase the volume.

  5. Mode Button: Single tap to switch playback mode among BT/ USB/ SD/ FM/ AUX modes.

  6. Volume Down(-): Tap to decrease the volume.

  1. Plug the cable of the satellite speakers in to the output jack on the rear panel of the subwoofer.

  2. The audio cable has not been plugged in to the input jack on the rear panel of the subwoofer for the AUX mode.

  3. Plug the power cord in to the power socket and switch ON the unit, the front panel LED lights up in Yellow and the unit automatically enters into Bluetooth mode.

  4. You can use the volume buttons on the remote controller or the subwoofer to control the volume levels.

  5. You can control the bass viathe BASS Knob present on the subwoofer.
