Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. To switch to Bluetooth mode, turn ON the Bluetooth functionality on your phone or media device.

  2. Search for "Blitz 2000" from the list of available devices nearby and selevct the same.

The speaker may not be in pairing mode. Check by tapping the Mode button or restart the speaker to search again.

  1. Connect the sound bar to your PC, tablet, smartphone, TV, or other device using the included audio cable. Short-press the mode button to switch to audio input mode with the LED Display showing AUX.

  2. In this mode, playback can only be controlled on your connected device.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue and if the speaker is in Aux mode by short pressing the ‘Mode’ button.

  2. Check if you have connected the aux cable properly and in the correct orientation on both ends.

  3. Check if the problem persists even after using a different cable or different device to connect to the speaker.

  1. Connect a USB drive to the speaker and switch to USB mode to play songs from USB.

  2. Please note that the USB drive must be in FAT32 format and the songs are placed in the root folder i.e., not inside any subfolder on the USB drive.

  1. Insert a SD Card and press the mode button on the speaker to switch to SD Mode, the display will show SD (this mode isn't selectable on the speaker or remote control unless a USB flash drive is connected). 

  2. Ensure that your SD Card contains MP3 or WMA audio files (other file types not supported) and they are in the root folder of the drive and not inside any subfolder.

  3. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port on the speaker.

  4. The remote control includes SD input mode playback controls.

Open the battery case and insert two AAA batteries and close the case.

Keep the remote controller within 5m range, aiming around 30 degree at the unit.

Note: It is advisable to remove the batteries when the unit is not being used for a long period of time.

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

  6. Check if the speaker does not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

  1. Check if restarting the speaker resolves the issue.

  2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

  3. Check if there are any obstructions between the speaker and the device, move the device at a closer range to the speaker and see if it still affects it.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e., the jack is properly inserted into the device for AUX, SD card is properly functioning for SD mode, properly paired for Bluetooth mode.

  3. Try connecting through a different connection mode or media device.

  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  1. The remote has different buttons for the same, please refer to the remote guide.

  2. Please make sure while using the FM mode that the antenna is adjusted accordingly to catch a good signal otherwise there will be interference.

  1. Please make sure the attached FM signal wire is in a suitable position to catch FM signals, i.e., nearby balconies or open areas where the signal is clear. If the signal is still distorted try adjusting the wire position or speaker position and see if it improves.

  2. Use the play/pause button on the speaker or remote to auto-search the channels again and see if they pop up.

  3. The tune button on the remote or the next button on the speaker can be used to surf through the available channels.

  5. Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source. 

  6. Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit. 

  7. Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated. 

  8. Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type, try to replace the battery. 

  9. Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

  1. Check by switching the speaker on manually, press and hold the power on button for at least 3 seconds.

  2. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

Yes, it does have an in-built FM.

Blitz 2000 comes with support for multiple EQ modes that include Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country. One also has full control over the bass with a bass knob to increase or decrease bass level.
