Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. When switched off, press and hold the Multifunction Button (MFB) for 3 seconds to switch on the earphones and put them into pairing mode. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode with a prompt; the blue and red LEDs will flash alternatively to indicate the same.

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

  3. Search for ‘Rockerz Summit’ and tap on the same for pairing & connecting via Bluetooth.

  4. If asked for a passcode, enter the pairing code as “0000” to establish Bluetooth connectivity.

  5. Once successfully connected, the blue LED remains solid on for 3 seconds to show successful pairing.

  6. The wireless neckband automatically turns off if there is no pairing established in 5 minutes

  1. Check to see if the earphones are in pairing mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.

  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  3. Check if it works after clearing the pairing list on the device: press and hold the Multifunction Button (MFB) and the volume down (-) button simultaneously for 5 seconds to clear the paired list of devices.

  4. Check to see if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connection.

  5. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter ‘0000’.

  6. Check to see if the device being connected to does not have any software issues – check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work, try factory resetting the device.

Rockerz Summit can be connected to 2 devices at once. To enable this feature, following steps are to be taken:

  1. Pair Rockerz Summit neckband earphones with your first media device via Bluetooth.

  2. Turn off both the earphones and the Bluetooth on the first device.

  3. Switch on the earphones and the Bluetooth on your second media device to pair.

  4. Finally, switch on the Bluetooth of the first media device again.

Congratulations! Your earphones are now connected to both your devices successfully via Bluetooth.

If the earphones are not connected, try connecting the first device manually once again to activate dual pairing.

  1. Check to pair boAt Rockerz Summit to the first phone as per usual pairing procedure. Select “boAt Rockerz Summit” from the list of available Bluetooth devices and then switch off both the earphones and the Bluetooth of the first phone. After this, switch on the earphones. Then turn on the Bluetooth function of the second phone. Scan and search the earphones’ pairing name “boAt Rockerz Summit” and pair to the second phone. Then simply switch on the first phone’s Bluetooth. The earphones should reconnect to the first phone and both phones should now be paired to the earphones.

  2. Check to try dual pairing with other devices to see if it works with them.

Use a USB Type C charging cable to charge the earphone through either a laptop or an adaptor.

  1. Low Battery: When the remaining talk time is less than 10 minutes, there is a “Low Battery” prompt and the Red LED flashes quickly to indicate the same.

  2. Charging: Solid Red LED indicates that the earphone is being charged. (Note that the earphone cannot be turned ON while charging). 

  3. Fully charged: Solid Blue LED indicates the same.

  1. Check to see if the charging wire being used is working – check to use another charging wire or try using the wire on another device.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the device, use only 5V 2A chargers.

  3. Check if the charging is done till the red light turns completely blue.

  4. Check if the battery was not tampered with or exposed to any electrical damage.

  5. Check if the charging port is not clogged with dirt. If so, please clean it with a cotton swab.

  6. Please check if the adapter and charging cable support fast charging.

  2. Check if the device has issues even after moving it closer to the connected device and removing any obstructions.

  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  4. Check using different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check to see if the earbuds have ear wax accumulated. If so, please clean it with cotton swab and alcohol, after doing so gently blow dry it from a distance.

  1. Check to see the microphone is not being blocked by any particles.

  2. Check to see if the microphone is being held at the adequate distance for it to be able to pick up the voice.

  3. Check if the microphone was not exposed to any hazards like direct sunlight or fire.

  4. Check if the microphone was not exposed to water above the resistance or dipped in any liquid.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, till the red light turns blue.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the device, use only 5V 2A Chargers.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long press for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device. Though under some circumstance, this featuremay or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

General FAQs

To perform a factory reset on Rockerz Summit:

(Note: Always unpair/ forget the device from Bluetooth before performing a reset)

  1. Press and hold the Multifunction Button (MFB) and Volume Down (-) button simultaneously for 5 seconds to clear the list of paired devices.

  2. After successful factory reset, the blue LED flashes for 1 second to indicate the same.

MADE FOR THE GAMERS- By Gamers, BEAST Mode reduces the latency significantly and improves the overall gaming experience.With BEAST Mode, the wireless earphones activate 3D audio mode especially made for gaming.

Single press the Beast Mode quick switch button to activate low latency BEAST Mode. To turn it off, single press the same. Once switched ON, it gets notified via the prompt “BEAST Mode”.

  1. Signature Sound Mode is boAt’s default Bass Mode while Balanced Mode is more suitable for podcasts, news and voice based media.

  2. You can switch between Signature Sound Mode (Bass Mode) and Balanced Mode by short pressing the EQ button.

To switch to Signature Sound Mode (Standard Mode), deactivate the BEAST Mode by single tapping the Quick Switch button. You can switch between the two modes via the Quick Switch button.
