Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Switch the headphone on by toggling/sliding to power on.

  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Rockid Rush ”

  3. if asked for a passkey, please enter “0000” on the phone.

  4. Once confirmed, the headphone and phone get connected via Bluetooth indicated by slowly flashing blue LED.

  5. Others : To disconnect the current paired device & enter pairing mode, long press the MFB button for upto 10 seconds.

Note: if there’s a connection history between the phone and the headphone, then they will automatically get reconnected in a working range whenever the headphone gets switched on

  1. Check to see if the device is in pairing mode indicated by LED flashes on either headset.

  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  3. Check to see if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections

  4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000

  5. Check to see if the device being connected to does not have any software issues – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

  1. Check when both the headsets are taken out of the charging case, the headsets will enter the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating red and blue LED flashes.

  2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the headsets on (Manual Power On), toggle on and slide to power on until the LED light begins to flash .

  3. Place the headsets in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device works

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

  3. Check if there are any obstructions between the headsets and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the headsets and see if it still affects it.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

  • To charge the headsets, connect one end of the provided cable to the USB type C port on the headset and the other end to a wall adapter or laptop.

  • While charging the indicator LED turns into steady red.

  • When the headphone is fully charged, the indicator switches off. It automatically switches off to save power and LED indicator turns off

  1. Low Battery : Indicated by slowly flashing red LED

  2. Charging : Indicated by LED turns into solid and steady red

  3. Fully Charged : LED stays OFF

  1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken, use other wires and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9v or 12v as that will damage the case, The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

  2. To charge the headset, plug one end of the provided cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter. A Red LED indicates charging and Red LED stays solid on indicate full charge

Note: The charging gets indicated by Red LED on charging case. Once fully charged, all the LED remain solid.

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied. Go to the connected device's sound settings and set the Equalizer to Normal/ Default/ Zero/ None.

  2. Reset the device or clear the paired devices list.

  3. Check to see if the earcups have ear wax accumulated. If so, please clean it with cotton swab and alcohol, after doing so gently blow dry it from a distance.

  4. Ensure that there are no obstruction between your Rockid Rush and the connected device and they are within the Bluetooth range (10 meters).

  1. Reset your Rockid Rush.

  2. Ensure the microphone is not being blocked by any particles.

  3. Check to see if the microphone is being held at the adequate distance for it to be able to pick up the voice.

  4. Now check if your voice is getting recorded on a voice recorder to understand if your mic is working.

  5. Check if the microphone was not exposed to any hazards like direct sunlight or fire or to water above the resistance or dipped in any liquid.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the headsets will indicate they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the headsets have been completely charged.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check by switching on the headset’ on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in red and blue.

  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players

  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards

General FAQs

  • Power On: Switch the headphones on by simply toggling /slide the button to “on”.

  • Power Off: To manually switch the headphones off, simply toggle/slide the button to “off” or long touch the CTC (Capacitive Touch Control) on both headsets for 5 seconds till the headsets get turned off, in order to manually switch off the headsets.

  • While playing music, single tap on the MFB button results in pause and another tap will result in play

  1. Previous Track: While playing music, double tap on the left headset’s CTC (Capacitive Touch Control) would result in returning to the previous track

  2. Next Track: While playing music, double tap on the right headset’s CTC (Capacitive Touch Control) would result in jumping to the next track

  • Double Tap the MFB button to activate voice assistant.

  • Volume could only be adjusted via phone/media devices

  1. Accept Call : Short press the MFB button to accept

  2. End Call : short press the MFB button to end call

  3. Reject Call : Long press the MFB button for up to 1 second to reject

  4. Switch between calls : during an ongoing call, long press the MFB button for up to 1 second to switch between calls.

Note : Before cleaning paired history of devices, clear "Rockid Rush" from pairing device history by forgetting device

  1. Keep the headsets steady, and ensure it is in power off state.

  2. Long press the MFB button on the headset for 10 seconds, until purple LED flashes 3 times

  3. Establish a fresh connection post the pairing history is cleansed.

  1. If there is no connection established when the headphone is switched on, then the device powers off automatically after a while.

  2. If you receive an incoming call while playing music, the music automatically disconnects. When the call is done and disconnected, the music starts to play automatically from where it left.

  • No, the headsets do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  • Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the headsets as intended.

  • No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the headsets and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

  • Rockid Rush supports low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Rockid Rush is not the right product.
