Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Switch ON the headphone.

  2. Press & hold Bluetooth button for 2 seconds until the right ear cup flashes Red & Blue with a pairing voice prompt.

  3. Open Bluetooth on your device and search for “Nirvana 1007ANC” in the list of available devices. 

  4. Once successfully paired, the right ear cup’s LED slowly flashes in Blue every 5 seconds to indicate the same.

  5. To disconnect from a device, short press the Bluetooth button.

  1. Check if the issue is occurring on different media players and in different devices or only in a single device or media player.

  2. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

  4. Check if the buttons are not stuck between the control board and port. Use a tooth pick to pick out the button to bring it back to position.

Insert one end of the USB Type C cable into the Type C port of the headphone and connect the other end to any USB charger or charging device. The left ear cup’s LED turns into solid Red while charging, whereas it turns into solid Green the headphones gets fully charged.

Note: While charging, the headphone cannot be powered ON or used. Also, when the battery is low the left ear cup’s LED flashes Red twice every 5 second.

  1. Check to see if the Type C charging cable being used is working and are of specification mentioned in the manual.

  2. Check the charging of the headphone by using another Type C charging cable or try using the same Type C charging cable on another device to determine if the charging cable is faulty or not.

  3. Check if the specification (voltage/current) of the charger is correct for the device or not. A 5V, 2A charger should be used to charge the headphone.

  4. Check if the charging is done till the red LED turns completely green on the left earcup of the headphone.

  5. Check if the headphone/battery was not tampered with or exposed to any electrical damage.

  6. Check if the charging port is not clogged with dirt. If so, please clean it with a cotton swab or blow dry it to remove any clogged dirt.

  7. Check if the pin of the Type C charging port is tampered with or damaged or any liquid damage is present or not.

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied or not. If applied then change the equalizer setting to standard/normal and then check the sound of the headphone again.

  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (10m) and if there are any obstructions in between the headphone and the media device or not.

  3. Check if the device has issues even after moving it closer to the connected device and removing any obstructions.

  4. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  5. Check the sound quality on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices/media players or only on specific ones.

  6. Check to see if the earcups have ear wax accumulated or not. If so, please clean it with cotton swab and mild alcohol, after doing so gently blow dry it from a distance.

  1. Check if connected media device is having any equalizer settings applied or not. If applied then change the equalizer setting to standard/normal and then check the sound of the headphone again.

Yes. Nirvana 1007ANC has a dedicated mic perfect for calls and recording

  1. Check to see the microphone is not being blocked.

  2. Check to see if the microphone is being held at the adequate distance for it to be able to pick up the voice.

  3. Check if the microphone was not exposed to any hazards like direct sunlight or fire.

  4. Check if the microphone was not exposed to water above the resistance or dipped in any liquid.

  5. Check if the mic hole is not clogged with dirt of sweat. If so, use cotton swab or toothpick to clean out the port holes or a dryer to dry out any water that maybe collected.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first till the red light turns off from steady.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the device, use only 5V 2A Chargers.

  3. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  4. Check if the earcups are inserted well into our ear canal and the volume is not at zero level

  5. Check if the cables are twisted/tangled, if so, untangle them to regain working condition.

  1. Check if the touch controls are working or not while connected to another media device.

  2. Check by forgetting the headphone in the Bluetooth settings of the media device and re-pair the headphone again with the media device.

  3. Check if the media player being used for music supports such controls present in the headphone.

  4. Check if the controls do not function on call or other media players or not.

  5. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquid.

  1. Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.

  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long press for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device. Though under some circumstance, this featuremay or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

General FAQs

Power ON:  Press and hold the power button to switch the headphones ON until the Right Ear cup’s LED turns Blue.

Power OFF: Press and hold the power button to power OFF the headphones until the Right Ear cup’s LED turns OFF.

To increase or decrease the volume, place your finger at either the bottom of the right ear cup as shown in the figure.

Then slowly swipe down from the top edge to the bottom or slowly swipe up from the bottom to the edge.

Double tap the touchpad button to play/pause music.

Double tap the touch pad once when answering or ending a call to complete the action.

Touch and hold the touchpad during an incoming call to reject the call.

Next Track: Swipe right on the touchpad to skip to the next track.

Previous Track: Swipe left on the touchpad to return to the previous track.

Touch & hold until the default voice assistant of your device is activated. You can touch and hold again to cancel. (This may not be supported on all the devices)

Place the palm of your hand over the right ear cup while the music is being played. The playback gets muted until you remove the palm from the ear cup.

Nirvana 1007ANC takes around 3H to charge. It does not support fast charging.

Nirvana 1007ANC includes a multifunction touch pad control on the right ear cup so that you can control the audio playback and attend calls via just your gesture, swipe or tap. This state of art technology from boAt is also known as “Smart Wave Technology”.

Active Noise Cancellation uses microphones and speakers to reduce background and surrounding noises.

The modes offer 3 different types of listening experiences. Press the Mode button through the different modes as instructed below:.

  1. Active Noise Cancelling: ANC mode is automatically activated by default when the headphone is powered on. When the ANC mode is active, the right earcup’s LED turns into solid green. This mode isolates your listening experience and helps block unwanted outside noise.

  2. Ambient Sound + ANC Mode: This mode allows the user to listen to the sounds in ambience through the built-in microphones even during when the playback is on. It allows to hear the background noise clearer, such as important announcements. In order to enter the Ambient Sound + ANC mode, single press the Mode button. The right earcup’s LED turns into solid white to indicate the same.

  3. ANC + Ambient Sound OFF Mode: In order to turn on the Normal mode, press the Mode button twice and a voice prompt ‘Ambient sound and noise cancelling o-’ is heard. The right earcup’s LED turns o- to indicate the same

Yes. Nirvana 1007 ANC supports Active Noise Cancellation feature.​

No. Nirvana 1007ANC does not support low latency but it can be used for casual gaming, entertainment, streaming etc.

When a 3.5mm audio cable is connected, the headphone powers OFF and plays audio directly from the connected media device.
