• The serial number serves as a unique identifier for each product which associates our consumer(Ex: Name, contact, etc.) with the ID of the product purchased

• Associating our customers and their products through serialization helps in speedy verification during the warranty claim process and ensure that we provide expedited response to customer problems ​

• Kindly note that we have recently started serializing our products. Currently 100% of our products are NOT serialized, hence there will be genuine boAt products in the market which are not serialized. Below mentioned are all the future benefits of product serialization:

1. Ensure Authenticity: Imitation of good quality products is very common and poses a problem to many consumers, worrying that the product or item they bought is not authentic. Serial numbers will serve as a guarantee of genuine products in future.

2. Quick access to product, purchase & warranty information: In future, we will link serial numbers to all the essential information about the product. Hence, you will be able to check all the information regarding your product (Example: model name, specification, troubleshooting instructions, warranty coverage etc) through the number.

3. Enhanced Customer Service: We are working on creating a system where if you need assistance with your device, you can connect with us and share the serial number of your product. With just one data point, we will be able to provide detailed assistance to you for product troubleshooting and claiming warranty.

You can easily locate the serial numbers across our serialized product models on the product boxes as well as on the physical products as shown below:

1. Airdopes:

On the product:

• The serial number(QR code) for Airdopes is generally located inside the charging case's lid as shown below:

• However, in some cases the QR code could be located near the charging port or at the back panel of the charging case as shown below:

On the packaging:

• The packaging box of your Airdopes mostly have serial number located at the bottom/back of the box as shown below:

2. Neckbands:

​On the products:

• All the neckbands have a QR code tag attached to them as shown below. You can scan this QR code to know your serial number.

3. Smart Watches:

On the products:

• The serial number in all the smart watches is located on the back panel of the device as shown below:

4. Stone Speakers:

On the product:

• For small & large bluetooth speakers the serial number is mostly located beside the charging slot as shown below:
