Follow these steps to connect boAt Tag to an Android device using Google Fast Pair-
Please enable Bluetooth on your Android device.
Download Google Find My Device app from Google Play Store and sign in.
Pull and remove the Battery Insulator pull tab on the back of the boAt Tag to activate it, then hold it near your Android device and you will receive a connection request on your phone.
After accepting the connection request, follow the on-screen instructions on the app for customizing and using your Tag.Congratulations! Your boAt Tag has been successfully connected to your Android device.
Note: If the connection request is not received or ignored a few times, please restart your Android device and follow the reset instructions for boAt Tag.
Go to the “Settings” icon in the Google Find My Device app and then scroll to the bottom to remove the tag from your linked device.
Location Tracking- Check the map to access the location of your boAt tag and view the last seen time and location of the tag. Tap the refresh icon to see the updated information.
Sound Detection- Ping the tag by playing a sound on it and easily locate it when it is within the Bluetooth range. The notification sound lasts for up to 1 minute until it stops.
Mark as Lost- Mark the tag as “lost” to be notified if the Find My Device Network locates it, including adding your contact info in case someone finds the tag.
Share the Tag- You can share the tag with other accounts so that they can also track the location of the tag.
Get Directions- Open your desired navigation app and get directions to your tag’s last known location.
Settings- Tap the “Settings” icon to access and modify functions like the tag name, shared devices, remove tag, etc.
Locate the reset button near the center of the boAt Tag.
Press and hold the reset button for about 15 seconds and it will beep in 1-second intervals.
Release the reset button and the boAt Tag will be disabled.
Press the reset button on your boAt Tag to re-enable it.
When the boAt Tag is re-enabled, you will hear two consecutive beeps confirming the reactivation and it will automatically reconnect to your device.
Unscrew the Battery Compartment: - The small compartment on the back of the boAt tag features a removable cover. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the battery compartment. Make sure to keep the screw in a safe place for later use.
Open the Battery Compartment: - Open the cover with your fingers or the screwdriver, if necessary and take out the old battery.
Insert the New Battery: - Insert the new battery in the correct orientation within the compartment. Reattach the screw of the battery compartment to snap it shut.
If the tag is not showing up for pairing with your desired device, you can reset the tag as instructed below-
Quickly double press and hold the reset button near the centre of the tag for 5 seconds till you hear consecutive beeps indicating that the tag has been reset.
In case resetting the tag does not work, please restart your device and then reset the boAt tag again.
If you have already connected the tag to any application, please remove it as per the instructions before retrying the pairing process.
The Find My Device app shows all currently and previously paired Bluetooth products when you open the app, including boAt Tag.
Once boAt tag is paired to your Android smartphone, tap the thumbnail to check the last seen time and location of the tag, play the detection alarm, mark the tag as lost, share the tag with other accounts, get directions to your tag’s last known location and access the functions under the “Settings” module.
The Google Find My network provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible personal items on a map using the Find My Device App on your Android phone.
Simply pair your compatible product with the Google Find My Device App to view it right alongside your Android devices. If your item ever goes missing, you can put it in Lost Mode to display a message and contact information to anyone who might find it.
The Find My network is encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Google or boAt, can view its location.
If any Find My network accessory separated from its owner is seen moving with you over time, you'll receive unknown tracker alert on your phone which tells you how to find it, disable it and what to do next.

An unknown tracker alert is sent when someone else's tracker device is separated from them and if your Android phone detects the tracker is traveling with you and out of Bluetooth range from the owner. The notification alerts you to the tracker and tells you how to find it and what to do next.
No, the alarm is integrated inside the tag and there is no provision to turn it off or lower the volume level.
No, tag is not waterproof and shockproof. Please do not submerge the product inside water to avoid any mishap.
