Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicate that by alternating green and red LED flashes on either earbud.

2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Check if the connected device supports Bluetooth connections or not.

4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.

5. Check if the device connected device does have any software issues or not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth and update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.

2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.

3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.

5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case, especially the charging pins and connectors with a mild alcohol swab, and see if it goes into charging mode or not.

Resetting your airdopes usually fixes this problem.

Step 2: Triple tap on the Multi Function Button (MFB )of the other earbud to reset it. This is indicated by the red and the blue LEDs.

Step 3: Place that earbud inside the case, take out the other earbud and close the lid.

Step 4: Triple tap on the Multi Function Button (MFB) of the earbud to reset it and put it back inside the case and then close the lid.

Step 5: Open the case lid, perform a fresh connection attempt. To perform a connection attempt, pair your Airdopes to your device again and then connect by selecting the device name.

Congratulations, your Airdopes has been reset!

Step 1: To charge the case, plug one end of the charging cable into the case and the other end into a USB port/adapter.

Step 2: Flashing white LEDs indicate that the charging case is being charged. Once the charging case gets fully charged, the LEDs turn into solid white.

1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

2. A solid White LED will indicate that the earbuds are being charged.

3. Once fully charged, the LED indicator goes off.

Note: Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds. Also, please keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging and use a 5V/2A adaptor.

1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.

2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use another charging cable, and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds

2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

3. Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector pins on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again

4. After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in the desired orientation and close the lid.

5. After cleaning, put the right earbud into the case in the desired orientation and close the lid.

6. Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction

2. Check if the charging pins of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and if they have been properly inserted inside the case.

4. Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

1. Power ON:

Step 1: To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of the charging case (when earbuds are inside). Our IWP™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) Technology enables the earbuds to power on automatically, get connected, and enter into the connection mode. OR
Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 3 seconds to manually power on the earbuds.

Step 2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode. Once the earbuds are powered on Red and Blue LED will indicate the same.

2. Power OFF:

Smart Power Off:

Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in the correct orientation.

Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode).

Manual Power Off:

Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 8 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.

Step2: Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

To factory reset Airdopes 131, go to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device, find Airdopes 131, and select 'forget'.

On your Airdopes 131,

Step 1: Keep both the earbuds inside the case in their correct orientation

Step 2: Triple tap the Multifunction button (MFB) on both earbuds to perform the reset. Red LED blinks for 1 sec to indicate the same.

Step 3: After the reset, close the carry case lid.

​Below are the cases where factory reset may be helpful

  • One earbud is not working

  • Earbuds are not getting connected or scanned

  • Earbuds get disconnected during a phone call

  • If there are exceptions in usage

Long press the MFB on either earbud for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant

Single press the MFB on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once again to hang up an ongoing call

Long press the MFB for 2 seconds to reject incoming calls. 

Single press the MFB on either earbud to play a song or to pause one.

1.  When playing music, double press the right earbud’s MFB to skip to the next song on the playlist.

2.  When playing music, double press the left earbud’s MFB to return to the previous song on the playlist.

Note: Volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted via phone/media device.

Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options; Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.

Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode. 

Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for ‘Airdopes- 131’ to connect.

Notes: To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mod

To factory reset Airdopes 131, go to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device, find Airdopes 131, and select 'forget'.

On your Airdopes 131,

Step 1: Keep both the earbuds inside the case in their correct orientation

1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/default.

2. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

4. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

  1.  Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.

  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device. Though under some circumstances, this feature may or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct (5V/2A) for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.

4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires, exposure to direct sunlight, or hazards like fire.

5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with an alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device.

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on-call or on other media players

3. Check if the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and if it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

3. Try factory resetting the device.

4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has a battery in it to have IWP functioning.

1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2. Check if dust or ear wax has accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

3. Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Place the earbud’s in the charging case and then try using them again.

  3. Try factory resetting the device.

General FAQs

1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage, the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.
