Check and follow the troubleshooting options below:

• Option 1: Enable Developer Options >> Disable the option of ‘Disable USB Audio routing’ >> Insert the wired earphones.

• Option 2: Enable Developer Options >> Enable OTG connection >> Insert the wired earphones.

  Note: When Option 2 is enabled, if the earphones are not used for more than 10 minutes, OTG (On-The-Go) connection gets disabled automatically. This option needs to be enabled again manually.

1. Check to see the microphone is not being blocked by any particles or obstructions.

2. Check to see if the microphone is being held at the adequate distance for it to be able pick up the voice.

3. Check if the microphone was not exposed to any hazards like direct sunlight or fire.

4. Check if the microphone was not exposed to water or dipped in any liquid.

5. Check to see if the mic hole is not clogged with dirt or sweat. If so, please clean it with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. After doing so, gently blow dry it from a distance.

1. Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e., the jack is properly inserted into the device.

2. Check if there is any loose wiring.

3. Check if the device was not subjected to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

• If music plays from the phone even when earphones are connected, follow one of the options below:

• Option 1: Enable Developer Options >> Disable the option of ‘Disable USB Audio routing’ >> Insert the wired earphones, and enjoy music.

• Option 2: Enable Developer Options>> Enable OTG connection >> Insert the wired earphones, and enjoy music. Note: Some mobile devices don’t need any settings to be applied to enjoy music through wired earphones.

1. Check if the controls do not work when connected to another device.

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls.

3. Note- In-built controls may vary for different phone models.

4. Check if the controls do not function on call or with other media players.

5. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

6. Check if the device was not subjected to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire and liquids.

1. Check if the connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

2. Check if the device has issues even after moving it closer to the connected device and removing any obstructions.

3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

4. Check using different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

6. Check to see if the earbuds have ear wax accumulated. If so, please clean it with cotton swab and alcohol. After doing so, gently blow dry it from a distance.
