General FAQs
Power On:
Smart Power On: To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are kept inside.
Manual Power On: To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both right and left earbuds.
Power Off:
Smart Power Off:
After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.
Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid.
The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter charging mode).
Manual Power Off:
Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 7 seconds & release to manually switch off the earbuds.
To perform a reset on your Nirvana Space:
NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Nirvana Space" from the pairing device history by forgetting the device.
Place both earbuds inside the case in the correct orientation.
While the earbuds are inside the case, press and hold the reset button located inside the charging case for 10 seconds.
After successful factory reset: Red LED blinks quickly 5 times on both earbuds & Red LED blinks quickly 5 times on the charging case
Close the lid and then re-open it again after a few seconds.
Perform a fresh connection attempt and enjoy!
Congratulations! Your Nirvana Space has been Reset.
Factory reset through the App :
To reset Nirvana Space from your device, go to the Troubleshooting section “?” on the Hearables app.
Next, tap the “Malfunctioning” sub-header in the Troubleshooting section.
Click on the option “Reset My Device” to reset the earbuds.
Congratulations! Your Nirvana Space has been reset.
Nirvana Space will now show as “Ready to Pair” in the My Devices section. Follow the pairing procedure to connect the earbuds to your device.
Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call
Double tap the CTC on either earbud to end an ongoing call or reject incoming calls
Plug in the earbuds inside your ears to start playback and remove both to pause music. (OR)
Single tap the CTC on either earbud to play or pause a track.
While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC to return to the previous track.
While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC to skip to the next track
Volume can only be adjusted via phone/media devices
Voice Assistant cannot be activated using Nirvana Space.
Long touch the CTC on the left earbud for 3 seconds to activate boAt 360º Spatial Audio.
Long touch the left earbud CTC again for 3 seconds to deactivate boAt 360º Spatial Audio and switch to boAt Signature Sound.
360 Spatial Mode is disabled during calls & Mono mode
Long touch the CTC on the right earbud for 3 seconds to toggle between Normal (ANC OFF), Ambient, and ANC modes.
Note –
By default, the Ambient Mode is active.
The operational cycle is Normal (ANC OFF) Mode→ Ambient Mode → ANC Mode → Normal (ANC OFF) Mode
Ensure Nirvana Space is up to date via boAt Hearables App. After updating, SpeakThru Mode can be enabled in 2 ways ie., through the earbuds & through the Hearables App.
Through Earbuds:
Tap the right earbud CTC 3 times to activate SpeakThru mode.
Tap the right earbud CTC 3 times again to deactivate SpeakThru mode & enable the previous noise cancellation state.
Through boAt Hearables App (Both Android & iOS):
Open the charging case to switch on Nirvana Space
Open & log in to the boAt Hearables app on your smartphone
Go to the Sound Tab on the Hearables app
Use the toggle under the ‘boAt SpeakThru’ header to switch SpeakThru Mode ON/OFF
Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use Smart Power On for switching on the desired earbud.
The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Nirvana Space” to connect.
Note- You can only skip to the next track while using the right earbud or play the previous track using the left earbud in Mono (single earbud) mode.
Switch the earbuds on; both the earbuds automatically enter the Connection Mode.
Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.
Search for ‘Nirvana Space’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth.
To switch to Stereo mode from Mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.
Nirvana Space comes with In-Ear Detection that will help in pausing the media when earbuds are taken out of ear. Earmuffs as per CX’s ear size are to be used to have optimal experience of In-Ear detection. This feature can be switched OFF from the boAt Hearables App.
In-ear detection is enabled by default on Nirvana Space.
You can use the boAt Hearables app to turn off or re-activate in-ear detection for your earbuds.
Nirvana Space can be connected to 2 devices at once. To enable this feature, following steps are to be taken:
Switch on the Bluetooth on your first phone/media device and search for ‘Nirvana Space’. After the selection is done, the earbuds are paired with your phone/media device.
Turn off the Bluetooth function of your first phone/media device. The earbuds are ready to be paired again.
Now switch on the Bluetooth function on your second phone/media device. Scan and select ‘Nirvana Space’ to connect.
Switch on the Bluetooth of the first phone/media device again. The earbuds are reconnected to the first phone/media device.
Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected to both your devices successfully via Bluetooth.
Note- This feature can be switched off from the boAt Hearables app.
Low battery (<30%) : White LED flashes 3 times when the case lid is opened
Battery charge (30% - 100%) : White LED flashes 2 times when the case lid is opened
Power On : White LED flashes for 1 second
Pairing Mode : Slowly breathing white LED on both earbuds
Pairing successful (1 time indication) : White LED flashes 2 times
If pairing not successful (In pairing mode) : If 5 minutes later, pairing is still not successful, then the earbuds will show solid white LED for 1 second and auto power off.
Connected : Slowly breathing White LED on both earbuds & No LED flash when media is playing
Disconnected : Same as pairing mode
Earbuds Charging : Purple LED on case blinks for 5 seconds when lid is closed
Fully Charged : Blue LED on case is solid ON for 5 seconds when lid is closed
Playing Music : All lights are OFF (But "Connected" status will remain)
Our IWP™ technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.
Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!
There is no special process to enable IWP™- simply follow the steps to first pair your Nirvana Space to your media device. Then upon subsequent usage, the IWP™ tech will be enabled and the earbuds will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on in your media device.

No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume controls on them. The volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.
Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and there is no provision to turn them off or lower their volume.
While your earbuds do have IPX5 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
