Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Check to see if the device is in pairing mode indicated by white LED flashes on either earbud.

  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  3. Check to see if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connection.

  4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter ‘0000’.

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case- the earbuds will enter the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating white LED flashes.

  2. If one of them fails to Smart Power On, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED begins to flash.

  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device works.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue

(Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop )

To perform a reset on your Nirvana Lucid:

  1. Place the earbuds inside the case.

  2. While the earbuds are inside the case, long press the Reset button for 10 seconds.

  3. After successful factory reset the White LED blinks quickly 5 times on the Charging Case & the Red LED blinks quickly 5 times on the Earbuds

  4. Close the lid and then re-open it again after a few seconds.

  5. Perform a fresh connection attempt and enjoy!

Congratulations! Your Nirvana Lucid has been Reset.

Nirvana Lucid can be connected to 2 devices at once. To enable this feature, following steps to be taken:

  1. Switch on the Bluetooth on your first phone/media device and search for ‘Nirvana Lucid’. After the selection is done, the earbuds are paired with your phone/media device.

  2. Turn off the Bluetooth function of your first phone/media device. The earbuds are ready to be paired again.

  3. Now switch on the Bluetooth function on your second phone/media device. Scan and select ‘Nirvana Lucid’ to connect.

  4. Switch on the Bluetooth of the first phone/media device again. The earbud is reconnected to the first phone/media device.

Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected to both your devices successfully via Bluetooth.

This feature can be switched OFF from boAt Hearables App

  1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

  2. During charging, purple LED on case blinks for 5 seconds

  3. Once the charging is complete, blue LED on case blinks for 5 seconds

  • To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter, or a power bank.

  1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken. Use other wires and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

  2. To charge the case, plug one end of the provided cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter. A Red LED indicates charging and green LED stays solid on indicate full charge.

Note: The LED located on the charging case indicates the battery status of the case. Charging is indicated by red LED in case of low battery, white LED in case of 30-70% battery, and green LED when the battery level is more than 70%, on the charging case. Once fully charged, the LED turns solid green.

  • Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation. Purple LED light on the case flashes for 5 seconds to indicate they are being charged. Once the earbuds have been completely charged, blue LED on the case blinks for 5 seconds.

1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.

2. Check if the charging pin of the earbuds is clear and there is no obstruction.

3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and if they have been properly inserted inside the case.

4. Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it with cotton swabs and alcohol.

 

 Power ON: There are two ways to switch ON the earbuds: ​

  1. To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take them out from the charging case.

  2. To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On). OR Long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them ON.

  3. Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbud will enter the connection mode.

Power OFF: There are two ways to switch OFF the earbuds:

Smart Power Off:

Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in their correct orientation.

Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode).

Manual Power Off:

Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 7 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.

Step2: Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Nirvana Lucid" from pairing device history by forgetting device

  1. Place the earbuds inside the case.

  2. While the earbuds are inside the case, long press the Reset button for 10 seconds.

  3. ​After successful factory reset: White LED blinks quickly 5 times on the Charging Case & Red LED blinks quickly 5 times on the Earbuds

  4. Close the lid and then re-open it again after a few seconds.

  5. Perform a fresh connection attempt and enjoy!

Congratulations! Your Nirvana Lucid has been Reset.

  1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options; Smart Power ON or Manual Power ON for switching ON the desired earbud.

  2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternating Green and Red LED flashes.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for ‘Nirvana Lucid’ to connect.

Note: To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.

  1. Switch the earbuds on; both the earbuds automatically enter the Connection Mode.

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

  3. Search for ‘Nirvana Lucid’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth.

  4. To switch to Stereo mode from Mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.

  • Voice Assistant cannot be activated using Nirvana Lucid.

  • Double tap the left earbud CTC to reject incoming calls

  • Double tap the right earbud CTC to reject incoming calls

  • Plug in the earbuds inside your ears to start playback and remove both to pause music. (OR) Single tap the CTC on either earbud to play or pause a track

  1. While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC would result in returning to the previous track.

  2. While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC would result in jumping to the next track

  1. Check if the connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

  3. Check if the distortion of quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  4. Check with different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

  6. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use a blow dryer from a distance to dry out any water.

  7. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, and if so, simply clean the earbuds with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to restore the original sound.

1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/default.

2. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

4. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first- Solid white light on the earbuds will indicate that they are fully charged.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check by switching on the earbud’ on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the white LED begins to flash.

  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  1. Check if the controls do not work while being connected to another device.

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and whether the controls do not function on call or with other media players.

  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards

  1. Our IWP™ technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before, instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device.

  3. The earbuds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!

1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2. Check if dust or ear wax has accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

3. Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

General FAQs

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

  • There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage, the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

  • No. Nirvana Lucid does not support aptX codec by Qualcomm.

  • Yes. Nirvana Lucid has a dual microphone.

  • Yes. Nirvana Lucid supports ENx technology

  • Nirvana Lucid does support 60ms low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Nirvana Lucid is not the right product.

  • While your earbuds do have IPX5 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage
