1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case. The earbuds will enter Connection Mode indicated by slow white LED flashes on the master earbud and slave earbud.

2. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

3. Check and see if factory resetting the device works.

4. Check if the pogo pins in the charging case and both earbuds are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning them using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and try using them again.

Resetting the device usually resolves such issues.

Factory reset on the device:

NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Airdopes Nirvana Crown" from your device's pairing history

1. Place the earbuds inside the case in the correct orientation and close the lid.

2. While the earbuds are inside the case, long press the MFB on the case for 10 seconds. When pressing the MFB, ensure that the crown is not being rotated. After successful factory reset: Charging case vibrates continuously for 3 seconds with the ring LED lighting up progressively in a circular pattern followed by 3 yellow flashes.

3. Wait for 5 seconds.

4. Open case lid. Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection attempt.

Congratulations! Your Nirvana Crown earbuds have been Reset.

Note: When pressing the case MFB for doing factory reset, make sure that the crown is not being rotated.

Factory reset through the App:

1.To reset your airdopes from your device, go to the Troubleshooting section “?” on the Hearables app.

2.Next, tap the “Malfunctioning” sub-header in the Troubleshooting section.

3.Click on the option “Reset My Device” to reset the earbuds.

Congratulations! Your airdopes has been reset.

This will now show as “Ready to Pair” in the “My Devices” section. Follow the pairing procedure to connect the earbuds to your device.

1. The boAt Hearables app shows all currently and previously paired devices in the ‘My Devices’ section.

2. Once your Airdopes is paired to your smartphone, the status gets changed to “Connected” in the thumbnail.

3. Tap the thumbnail, to check whether both the left and right earbuds are connected or not.

4. You can also check the battery level of both the earbuds.

If IWP™ isn't functioning:

1. Confirm that your Airdopes has IWP™ tech integrated.

2. Make sure you have paired the earbuds at least once before to the device you are trying to use IWP™ with.

3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and your product name is in the list of paired devices.

4. Try factory-resetting the device.

• To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer, or a wall adapter, or a power bank.

1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken. Use other wires and ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case.

• Perform a factory reset. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clean the earbuds to restore the original sound.

• In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance (Caution - Prevent your product from overheating through the dryer).

• In the App: Run the Smart Diagnostics function of the boAt Hearables app and check whether there are any speaker-related issues. Please note the Smart Diagnostics function in the app can only identify issues related to the firmware and not the hardware.

1. Make sure the charging case is charged. Try to manually power on the earbuds, the powering on is indicated by LED lights on the earbuds.

2. If the earbuds do not power On, try cleaning the pogo pins (magnetic charging pins) of the earbuds with cotton dipped in alcohol swab/spirit. Later, wipe it with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on the surface.

3. Now place the earbuds inside the charging case, shut the lid and open it after 5 seconds. The earbud LEDs will start blinking as they automatically power On.

1. Check if the controls do not work while being connected to another device.

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or with other media players.

3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

1. Check to see if the case is sufficiently charged or not (at least 50% battery). Charge the case if it has low battery.

2. Try factory-resetting the device.

3. Make sure the vibration is felt when pressing the case button and the case ring LED is glowing.

4. Check if the case button is locked; the button functions will be disabled in locked state. Make sure to unlock the case button to use the functions.

Note –

1. You can customize the case MFB function to switch between the different noise cancellation modes using the boAt Hearables app.

2. By default, the Normal Mode (ANC Off) is active.

3. The operational cycle is Normal (ANC OFF) Mode→ Ambient Mode → ANC Mode → Normal (ANC OFF) Mode

4. Your earbuds will remember the mode you last used & will enable the respective noise cancellation mode when they are powered on next time.

5. When you activate ANC or Ambient modes, the earbuds will consume more power which will reduce the playtime.

• Long touch the CTC on the left earbud for 2 seconds to activate boAt Spatial Audio. Long touch the left earbud CTC again for 2 seconds to switch to boAt Signature Sound.

• Nirvana Crown comes with In-Ear Detection that will help in pausing the media when earbuds are taken out of ears. Earmuffs as per CX’s ear size are to be used to have optimal experience of In-Ear detection. This feature can be switched OFF from the boAt Hearables App.

Nirvana Crown can be connected to 2 devices at once. To enable this feature, following steps are to be taken:

1. Switch on the Bluetooth on your first phone/media device and search for ‘Nirvana Crown’. After the selection is done, the earbuds are paired with your phone/media device.

2. Turn off the Bluetooth function of your first phone/media device. The earbuds are ready to be paired again.

3. Now switch on the Bluetooth function on your second phone/media device. Scan and select ‘Nirvana Crown’ to connect.

4. Switch on the Bluetooth of the first phone/media device again and select ‘Nirvana Crown’ from the list of available devices for pairing. The earbuds are now reconnected to the first phone/media device.

Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected to both your devices successfully via Bluetooth.

This feature can be switched OFF from the boAt Hearables App.

1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use Smart Power On for switching on the desired earbud.

2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode.

3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Nirvana Crown” to connect.

1. Spatial Audio, ANC, and Ambient mode activation tones can be heard in Mono mode, but both earbuds must be worn for a full sound staging effect.

2. You can only skip to the next track while using the right earbud or play the previous track using the left earbud in Mono (single earbud) mode.

2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

3. Search for “Nirvana Crown” and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth.

4. To switch to Stereo mode from Mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.

2. Make sure to use the “Camera” feature only when you want to click an image and make sure the camera app is open on your smartphone.

• Some phones may not show the volume change on the screen, but when rotating the crown it will perform the volume change. In addition, if the crown is rotated to the max volume and still the loudness is less than the volume of the phone needs to be adjusted to the highest level.

3. Multipoint connectivity remains ON by default for keeping Nirvana Crown connected to two media devices at the same time. Under the System tab, slide the “Multipoint Connectivity” toggle to the OFF state to deactivate the multipoint connection. Slide the toggle once again to ON to activate multipoint connection.

Note: By default, Multipoint connectivity remains ON in Nirvana Crown.

1. Pair Nirvana Crown to your media device by following the pairing process.

2. Go to the “System” tab on the Hearables app.

3. Tap the “Check For Updates” option under the “Software Update” header to check and update Nirvana Crown to the latest firmware version, if available.

Note: If the product is updated to the latest available version, the app will show an alert on clicking the option -‘You already have the latest firmware version’.

To diagnose issues related to Bluetooth connectivity, mic, speaker, haptics feedback (vibration), case ring LED, and battery, use the Smart Diagnostics function of the Hearables app.

1. Tap the “Run Diagnostics” option under the Smart Diagnostics header in the System tab.

2. Follow the instructions to start the smart diagnostics process.

3. Click on “Let’s Go” to start.

4. Complete all the steps one by one to check Bluetooth connectivity, mic, speaker, haptics feedback (vibration), case ring LED, and battery functions.

5. Click on ‘Done’ to finish diagnostics.

• While your earbuds do have IPX4 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
