Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Check to see if the device is in pairing mode indicated by white LED flashes on either earbud.

  2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  3. Check to see if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connection.

  4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter ‘0000’.

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case- the earbuds will enter the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating white LED flashes.

  2. If one of them fails to Smart Power On, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED begins to flash.

  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device works.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue

(Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop )

To perform a reset on your Immortal Katana Blade:

  1. Take out both the earbuds from the case

  2. Long touch CTC on both the earbuds for 5 seconds; LED flashes quickly for 5 times

  3. Place the earbuds inside the case, close lid and wait for 5 seconds

  4. Take out earbuds from the case and perform the fresh connection

Congratulations! Your Airdopes has been Reset.

  1. Take out both the earbuds from the case

Congratulations! Your Airdopes has been Reset.

  1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

  2. During charging, LED stays solid red

  3. Once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and LED indicator turns off

  1. To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  2. LEDs flash in sequence while the case is on charging. When the charging case is fully charged, it automatically switches off.

  1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken. Use other wires and also ensure that the charger being should not have it's Output more than 5V 2A as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

  2. Also, ensiure that the type-C port on the charging case is not damaged.

  1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds

  2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a red light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

  3. Clean the magnetic connector pins / charging pins of earbuds with an alcohol swab. You can also use the ear cleaning cutips / cotton that should be slightly dipped in spirit/ sanitizer and after cleaning the charging pins, wipe them with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on it's surface.

  4. Place both the earbuds inside the charging case and shut the lid for 5 seconds.

  5. Open the lid. Now check the charging of the earbuds again.

  1. Case LED indication about inserting Earbuds into the Case : This is to indicate that the Earbuds are charging from the Case (When Lid is closed): A] RED LED will solid on the earbuds and case LED will blink for 10 seconds . B] LED is OFF when Earbuds are charged fully

  2. Case is charging : LED is in breathing mode.

  3. Case is charged fully : RGB LED is ON

  1. Low Battery (<30%) : Red LED blinks (3 times) when the Case lid is opened

  2. Battery between 30% - 100% : Blue LED blinks 3 times when the case lid is opened

  3. Power ON : Blue LED is ON for 1 second on opening the Lid

  4. Pairing mode : First, the connection happens between Master earbud (primary) and Slave earbud (secondary), and this is indicated with Blue LED, then it enters the pairing mode with the following LED indications: Both the earbuds blink Red & Blue during pairing mode

    Note: If Master and Slave Earbuds are not connected, it will act as an independent Earbud, and on both the Earbuds, Red & Blue LEDs blink

  5. Pairing successfully (1 time indication) : A Solid Blue LED

  6. If pairing not successful (In pairing mode) : The same as Pairing mode, if 5 minutes later still cannot be pairing successful, then the Earbuds will show solid RED once and auto power off

  7. Earbuds in the charging box : A RED light is On while charging & the light turns OFF once it is fully charged

  8. Connected : Blue light flashes 300ms - ON and 300ms - OFF, so 3 times each minute = the 20s per times

  9. Disconnected: The same as Pairing mode

  10. Fully charged : RED light is OFF

  11. Play the music: All lights are OFF (But "Connected" status will remain)

  1. The connected device (phone/laptop) does not have any equalizer settings applied. Go to your system's sound/audio settings and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ zero/ none.

  2. Try to move the Airdopes closer to the connected phone/laptop and all obstacles in the middle should be removed.

  3. Disabling the equalizer also works when the distortion happens on different media players and different devices or only on specific ones.

  4. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use a blow dryer from a distance to dry out any water.

  5. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, and if so, simply clean the hearing net of the earbuds with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to restore the original sound.

1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/default.

2. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clean the hearing net of the earbuds with alcohol swab to restore the original sound.

4. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the earbud’s will indicate they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

  2. Ensure that the voltage of the charger is correct (Output= 5V 2A) for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check by switching On the earbud manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in red and blue.

  4. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging

  5. Make sure the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire

  1. Check if the controls do not work while being connected to another device.

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and whether the controls do not function on call or with other media players.

  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards

  1. Our IWP™ technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before, instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device.

  3. The earbuds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!

1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2. Check if dust or ear wax has accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone. If yes then clean it with an alcohol swab.

3. Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

General FAQs

Power ON

There are two ways to switch the ear buds on

  1. Smart Power ON: To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are being kept inside

  2. Manual Power ON: To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Right and Left earbuds

Power OFF

  1. Smart Power OFF : After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears; Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid; The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode)

  2. Manual Power OFF : Long press the touch sensors on both earbuds for 5 seconds till the earbuds get turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds.

  • Single tap on the touch sensors of both the earbuds once, this would result in answering an incoming call

  • Double tap the touch sensors of both the earbuds, this would result in ending or rejecting incoming calls

  • While playing music, single tap on the left/right touch sensor, this results in pause and another tap will result in play

  1. Previous Track : While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s touch sensor, this would result in returning to the previous track

  2. Next Track : While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s touch sensor, this would result in jumping to the next track

  • Volume could only be adjusted via phone/media devices

  • Long tap and hold CTC of left earbud for 3 secs to activate the voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri

  1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud

  2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by red and blue LED flashes

  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes Katana Blade ”

  1. Switch the earbuds on; Both the earbuds automatically enter into the Connection Mode

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan

  3. Search for ‘Airdopes Katana Blade ’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth

  4. To switch to Stereo mode from mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage

  5. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!

  • There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on on your media device.

  1. Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.

  2. Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

  3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the airdopes in the list of paired devices.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

  • No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

  • No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  • Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

  • While your earbuds do have IPX4 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
