Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Check to see if the device is in pairing mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes on the master earbud and slave earbud LEDs slowly flash blue twice for 5 seconds.

  2. Try factory resettingthe device

  3. Ensure the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  4. Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections & it does not have any software issues.

  5. In case it is a passcode issue then enter ‘0000’.

  6. Check to forget the device from the Bluetooth paired devices list, update the mobile software

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case. The earbuds will enter Connection Mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes on the master earbud.

  2. If one of them fails to Smart Power On, try manually switching the earbud on (Manual Power On) - long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash blue.

  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  4. Check and see if factory-resetting the device works.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue

To perform a reset on your Airdopes ProGear:

NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Airdopes ProGear" from pairing device history by forgetting the device.

  1. Take out the earbuds from the charging case.

  2. Long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) on both earbuds for 5 seconds, one at a time, to perform reset. This is indicated by the red LEDs on both the earbuds rapidly flashing 5 times.

  3. Place the earbuds inside the charging case in the correct orientation. Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.

  4. Open the case lid and perform a fresh connection.

Congratulations! Your Airdopes ProGear has been reset.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue

To perform a reset on your Airdopes ProGear:

  1. Take out the earbuds from the charging case.

  2. Long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) on both earbuds for 5 seconds, one at a time, to perform reset. This is indicated by the red LEDs on both the earbuds rapidly flashing 5 times.

  3. Place the earbuds inside the charging case in the correct orientation. Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.

  4. Open the case lid and perform a fresh connection.

Congratulations! Your Airdopes ProGear has been reset.

  1. To charge the earbuds, put them into the charging case in their correct orientation.

  2. While charging, the white LED on the case flashes for 1 second.

  3. Once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and the LED indicator turns off.

  • To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken. Use other wires and ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case.

  2. To charge the case, plug one end of the provided USB Type-C cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer, power bank, wall adapter, etc.

Note: The LED located on the charging case indicates the battery status of the case. White LED flashes for 1 second to indicate charging state and white LED remains solid ON to indicate full charge.

  • Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, A Red led light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

  • Try cleaning the pogo pins (charging pins) of the earbuds with an alcohol swab / use a cotton dipped in alcohol spirit. Once the pins are cleaned, put them inside the charging case and shut the lid. Now open the lid and check if the earbud LEDs start to blink.

  1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.

  2. Check if the charging pin of the earbuds is clear and there is no obstruction.

  3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and if they have been properly inserted inside the case.

  4. Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it with cotton swabs and alcohol.

  1. Before using the earbuds for the first time, please fully charge the earbuds with the charging case lid being closed.

  2. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter (Output Only): 5V, 2A

  3. Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands at 0.10mm diameter/strand

  4. Any other accessories could be used for charging the earphones if the above norms are followed.

  1. The connected device (phone/laptop) does not have any equalizer settings applied. Go to your system's sound/audio settings and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ zero/ none.

  2. Factory reset the device.

  3. Try to move the Airdopes closer to the connected phone/laptop and all obstacles in the middle should be removed.

  4. Disabling the equalizer also works when the distortion happens on different media players and different devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use a blow dryer from a distance to dry out any water.

  6. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, and if so, simply clean the hearing net of the earbuds with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to restore the original sound.

1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/default.

2. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clean the hearing net of the earbuds with alcohol swab to restore the original sound.

4. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the earbud’s will indicate they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check by switching on the earbud’ on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until there is a solid blue LED for 2 seconds followed by a tone prompt.

  4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device.

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players.

  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

  1. Our IWP™ technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before, instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device.

  3. The earbuds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Factory reset the device.

  3. Check if dust or ear wax has accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone. If yes then clean it with an alcohol swab.

  4. Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

  5. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

General FAQs

POWER ON:

  • Smart Power On : To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are kept inside.

  • Manual Power On : To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both earbuds. This is indicated with solid blue LED for 2 seconds followed by a tone prompt.

Power OFF:

  • Smart Power Off :

  1. After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

  2. Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid.

  3. Red LED remains on for 2 seconds followed by a tone prompt. The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter charging mode).

  • Manual Power Off:

  1. Long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) on both earbuds for 5 seconds (one at a time) till the earbuds get turned off, to manually switch off the earbuds.

  • Single tap the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) on either earbud to answer an incoming call.

  • Double tap the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) on either earbud to end an ongoing call or reject incoming calls

  • While playing music, single tap on the left or right earbud Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) to pause or play music.

  1. While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) to return to the previous track.

  2. While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) to skip to the next track

  • Volume can only be adjusted via phone/media devices.

  • Long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) of left earbud for 3 secs to activate the voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri.

  1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.

  2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes ProGear” to connect.

  1. Switch the earbuds on; both the earbuds automatically enter Connection Mode.

Then upon subsequent usage, the IWP™ tech will be enabled and the earbuds will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on in your media device.

  1. No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume controls on them. The volume must be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  2. Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

  • While your earbuds do have IPX5 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
