Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

  2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

  4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

  5. Try to forget the earbuds from the device’s Bluetooth paired list, update the mobile software and if it still does not work, try factory resetting the product.

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case. The earbuds will enter Connection Mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes on the master earbud.

  2. If one of them fails to Smart Power On, try manually switching the earbud on (Manual Power On) - long touch the CTC for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash blue.

  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  4. Check and see if factory-resetting the device works.

  • Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  • Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

  • Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes Loop :

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop

  1. Place both earbuds inside the charging case in the correct orientation.

  2. Press the reset button inside the charging case for 5 seconds to perform reset. This is indicated by all four case LEDs flashing 5 times.

  3. Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.

  4. Open the case lid and perform a fresh connection.

Congratulations! Your Airdopes Loop has been reset.

  1. To charge the earbuds, put them into the charging case in their correct orientation and close the case lid.

  2. The Cyan LED on the case flashes for 5 seconds to indicate the left earbud charging from the case.

  3. Purple LED on the case flashes for 5 seconds to indicate the right earbud charging from the case.

  4. Blue LED on the case flashes for 5 times to indicate both earbuds charging from the case.

  5. Once charging is completed, blue LED flashes for 5 seconds and the charging case automatically switches off to save power.

  • To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken. Use other wires and ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case.

  2. To charge the case, plug one end of the provided USB Type-C cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer, power bank, wall adapter, etc.

  • Note: The LED located on the charging case indicates the battery status of the case. LED flashes 1 time every second to indicate charging state and all LEDs remain solid ON to indicate full charge.

  1. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the correct orientation.

  2. All 4 case LEDs remain steady on the 5-second jump power display when the earbuds are being charged. This light will turn off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

  1. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

  2. Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands @0.10mm diameter/strand

  3. Any other accessory can be used for charging the earbuds if the above norms are followed.

Note : Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds as well as the charging case. Also, keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging.

  1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ zero/ none.

  2. Perform a factory reset.

  3. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

  4. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

  5. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first. The red LED on the earbuds remains solid to indicate that they are still being charged. Once the earbuds have been completely charged, this light will turn off.

  2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the LEDs on the case are blinking after placing the earbuds inside, to indicate charging.

  1. Check if the controls do not work while being connected to another device.

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or with other media players.

  3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  3. Ensure that the connected device is within the Bluetooth range (10m) and there is no obstruction between the airdopes and the connected device

  4. If sweat or water has gone inside the microphone then try to clean it with a cotton swab dipped in mild alchohol.

  1. Check if your Airdopes model has IWP™ tech integrated.

  2. Make sure that you have paired the earbuds at least once before to the device you are trying to use IWP™ with.

  3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and if it has Airdopes Loop in the list of paired devices.

  4. Try factory resetting the device.

General FAQs

POWER ON:

  • Smart Power On : To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are kept inside.

  • Manual Power On : To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both earbuds. This is indicated with solid blue LED for 2 seconds followed by a tone prompt.

Power OFF:

  • Smart Power Off :

  1. After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

  2. Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid.

  3. Red LED remains on for 2 seconds followed by a tone prompt.

    The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter charging mode).

  • Manual Power Off : Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 5 seconds (one at a time)

    till the earbuds get turned off, to manually switch off the earbuds.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes Loop:

NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Airdopes Loop" from the pairing device history by forgetting the device.

  1. Place the earbuds inside the case and close the lid.

  2. Press the reset button inside the charging case for 5 seconds to perform reset. This is indicated by all four case LEDs flashing 5 times.

  3. Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.

  4. Open the case lid and perform a fresh connection.

Congratulations! Your Airdopes Loop has been reset.

  • Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call.

  • Double tap the CTC on either earbud to end an ongoing call or reject incoming calls.

  • While playing music, single tap on the left or right earbud CTC to pause or play music.

  1. While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC to return to the previous track.

  2. While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC to skip to the next track

  • Volume can only be adjusted via phone/media devices

  • Long touch the left earbud CTC for 3 seconds to activate ‘Google Assistant’ for Android devices and ‘Siri’ for iOS devices.

  • Long touch the right earbud CTC for 3 seconds to activate Private Mode. Long touch the right earbud CTC again for 3 seconds to switch to boAt Signature Sound.

  • Tap the right earbud CTC 3 times to activate BEAST™ Mode. Tap the right earbud CTC 3 times again to switch to boAt Signature Sound.

  1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.

  2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes Loop” to connect.

NOTE: Please check the ‘L’ and ‘R’ labels on the earbuds before wearing

the desired earbud.

  1. This is indicated with alternate red and blue LEDs flashing on the master earbud and the blue LED flashing once every 5 seconds on the slave earbud.

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

  3. Search for ‘Airdopes Loop’ and tap on the same for pairing & connecting via Bluetooth.

  4. To switch to Stereo mode from Mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.

  5. You can only skip to the "next track" using the right earbud in Mono/Stereo mode.

  6. You can only switch to the "previous track" using the left earbud in Mono/Stereo mode.

NOTE:

  • Please check the ‘L’ and ‘R’ labels on the earbuds before wearing them.

  • Wear the earbud marked ‘R’ in your right ear and ‘L’ in your left ear to ensure clear communication over calls.

  1. Low battery (<20%) : Red light quickly blinks 3 times every 30 seconds with tone

    prompt every 5 minutes

  2. Power On : Solid blue light flashes for 2 seconds on opening the lid

  3. Power Off : Solid red LED flashes for 2 seconds when powered off

  4. Pairing Mode : Alternate red and blue LED flashes on the master earbud & slave earbud LEDs slowly flashes blue once every 5 seconds.

  5. Pairing successful (1 time indication) : Solid blue LED flashes for 3 seconds

  6. If pairing not successful (In pairing mode) : The earbuds will show solid red light and auto power off.

  7. Connected : Blue LEDs on the left and right earbuds will flash once every 20 seconds & No LED flash when media is playing.

  8. Disconnected : Left and right earbuds flash red LED twice every 5 seconds

  9. Earbuds Charging : Solid red LED

  10. Fully Charged : LED turns off

  11. Playing Music : All lights are OFF (But "Connected" status will remain)

  1. No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume controls on them. The volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  2. Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

  • No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and there is no provision to turn them off or lower their volume.

  • While your earbuds do have IPX4 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
