General FAQs
To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.
During charging, LED stays solid red once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and LED indicator turns off.
To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.
Before using the earbuds for the first time, please fully charge the earbuds with the charging case lid being closed.
Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A
Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands @0.10mm diameter/strand
Any other accessories could be used for charging the earphones as long as the above norms are followed.
POWER ON:
There are two ways to switch the ear buds on:
To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take out the earbuds from the carry case starting from the right earbud and then the left earbud.
To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Right and Left earbuds
Power OFF:
Smart Power Off:
After usage remove both the buds from your ears.
Place the buds back into the charging case in correct orientation.
The earbuds will automatically switch off and enter into charging mode
Manual Power Off: Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 8 seconds till the earbuds get turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds.
To perform a reset on your Airdopes Alpha:
*NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Airdopes Alpha" from pairing device history by forgetting device.
Take out the earbuds from the case and long touch both CTCs for 5 seconds.
Place the earbuds inside the case.
Close the cover lid and reopen it again after 5 seconds to perform fresh connection.
Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.
The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by red and blue LED flashes.
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes Alpha".
Triple tap the left CTC to activate the voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri.
Single tap on the CTC of either of the earphones once, would result in answering an incoming call.
Double tap the CTC of either of the earphones would result in rejecting incoming calls
While playing music, single tap on the left/right CTC result in pause and another tap will result in play.
While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC would result in returning to the previous track.
While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC would result in jumping to the next track.
Switch the earbuds on; Both the earbuds automatically enter into the Connection Mode.
Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.
Search for ‘Airdopes Alpha ’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth.
To switch to Stereo mode from mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.
You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.
Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ none/ 0. EQ settings navigation for top 9 popular mobile brands are as follows:

Go to i Music>tap the icon at the left upper corner>select Audio effect>turn on Deep space sound effects>touch Equalizer in the bottom., then you can adjust Equalizer as you like.
Note: Equalizer is supported in Funtouch OS 4.0 and higher version and can be adjusted only with the earphone plugged in.

Perform a factory reset. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clean the earbuds to restore the original sound.
1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the earbud’s will indicate they are still being charged.
This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.
3. Check by switching on the earbud’ on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in red and blue.
4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players.
3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.
1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
2. Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.
3. Check if swear or water has gone inside the microphone.
4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earpods and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earpod and see if it still affects it.
1. Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.
2. Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.
3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the airdopes in the list of paired devices.
4. Try factory-resetting the device.
1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.
2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!
There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes Alpha to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes Alpha will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on on your media device.

The Airdopes Alpha does support low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes Alpha is not the right product.

No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.
1. No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.
2. Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

While your earbuds do have a certain amount of water and sweat resistance (reply based on the IP level of the earbud) it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
