Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check to see if the device is in pairing mode indicated by LED flashes on either earbud.

2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Check to see if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections

4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000

5. Check to see if the device being connected to does not have any software issues – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, 6. if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating red and blue LED flashes.

2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC touch Function Button(CTC) for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash .

3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4. Check and see if hard resetting the device works

1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

3. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

4. Try factory-resetting the device.

Step 3: Close the cover lid and reopen it again after 5 seconds to perform fresh connection

  1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

  2. During charging, LED stays solid red once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and LED indicator turns off

To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken, use other wires and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9v or 12v as that will damage the case, The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

2. To charge the case, plug one end of the provided cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter. LED indicates charging and LED stays solid on indicate full charge

Note: The LED indicator located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case. The charging gets indicated by LED on charging case. Once fully charged, all the LED remain solid.

Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, A Red led light on the earbud’s will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

1. Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.

2. Check if the charging pin of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

3. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.

4. Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.

1. Before using the earbuds for the first time, please fully charge the earbuds with the charging case lid being closed.

2. Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

3. Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands @0.10mm diameter/strand

4. Any other accessories could be used for charging the earphones as long as the above norms are followed.

1.POWER ON

There are two ways to switch the ear buds on:

1. To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take out the earbuds from the carry case starting from the right earbud and then the left earbud.

2. To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Right and Left earbuds

Smart Power Off

1. After usage remove both the buds from your ears.

2. Place the buds back into the charging case in correct orientation.

3. The earbuds will automatically switch off and enter into charging mode

Manual Power Off

Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 8 seconds till the earbuds get turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds.

Step 1: Take out the earbuds from the case and long touch both CTCs for 5 seconds.

Step 2: Place the earbuds inside the case.

Step 3: Close the cover lid and reopen it again after 5 seconds to perform fresh connection.

Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.

Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by red and blue LED flashes.

Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes Ace".

Triple tap the left CTC to activate the voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri.

Single tap on the CTC of either of the earphones once, would result in answering an incoming call.

Double tap the CTC of either of the earphones would result in rejecting incoming calls

While playing music, single tap on the left/right CTC result in pause and another tap will result in play

1. While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC would result in returning to the previous track.

2. While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC would result in jumping to the next track.

1. Switch the earbuds on; Both the earbuds automatically enter into the Connection Mode.

2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

3. Search for ‘Airdopes Ace ’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth.

4. To switch to Stereo mode from mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.

5. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.

  1. Change the EQ settings to normal in your app.

  2. Try resetting the Airdopes

  3. If dust or ear wax has accumulated inside the earbuds or if there is any obstruction please clean it with an alcohol swab.

  4. Ensure that sweat or water has not gone inside the earbuds.

1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the earbud’s will indicate they are still being charged.

This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

3. Check by switching on the earbud’ on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in red and blue.

4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players.

3. Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2. Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

3. Check if swear or water has gone inside the microphone.

4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earpods and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earpod and see if it still affects it.

1. Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.

2. Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the airdopes in the list of paired devices.

4. Try factory-resetting the device.

General FAQs

1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes Ace to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes Ace will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on on your media device.

Yes.

The Airdopes Ace does support low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes Ace is not the right product.

No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

1. No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

2. Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

No, it does not support aptX codec by Qualcomm

While your earbuds do have a certain amount of water and sweat resistance (reply based on the IP level of the earbud) it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
