Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

5. If the issue still does not get resolved then perform a factory reset

To perform a reset on your Airdopes 501 ANC:

Step 1: Place the earbuds inside the case

Step 2: While earbuds are inside the case, long-press the reset button for 10 seconds until the LED blinks on the charging case (keep the lid open)

Step 3: Close the lid and then reopen it after few seconds

Congratulations! Your Airdopes 501 ANC has been Reset.

Note: ​Below are the cases where factory reset may be helpful

  • One earbud is not working

  • Earbuds are not getting connected or scanned

  • Earbuds get disconnected during a phone call

  • If there are exceptions in usage

1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.

2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long press the Multifunction button (MFB) for 5 seconds on both the earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.

3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.

5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

1. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

2. Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

1.To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

2.A solid White LED for 2 secs will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged, the LED indicator goes off

  1. To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  2. Red LEDs flash while the case is on charging. When the charging case is fully charged, it gets indicated by solid white LED.

1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.

2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not more than 5V 2A as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

3. Please ensure that the charging port is not damaged.

1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds.

2.  Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

3.  Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector pins (metal pins) on the earbuds with a clean cloth dipped in mild alcohol, apply a medium pressure while cleaning and check the charging of the earbuds again.

4.  After cleaning, put both the earbuds into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

5.  Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

1. Check if the charging pins of the case and the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

2. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.

3. Check if the charging pins of the earbuds (metal pins) are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning the charging pins with cotton swab dipped in alcohol and apply a medium pressure while cleaning.

 

 Power ON: There are two ways to switch ON the earbuds: ​

  1. To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take them out from the charging case.

  2. To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On). OR Long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them ON.

  3. Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbud will enter the connection mode.

Power OFF: There are two ways to switch OFF the earbuds:

Smart Power Off:

Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in their correct orientation.

Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode).

Manual Power Off:

Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 8 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.

Step2: Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options; Smart Power ON or Manual Power ON for switching ON the desired earbud.

Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode.

Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for ‘Airdopes 501 ANC’ to connect.

Note: To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.

Step 1: Switch ON the earbuds. Both the earbuds will pair with one another automatically.

Step 2: The earbuds will enter into the connection mode.

Step 3: Turn ON the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

Step 4: Search for ‘Airdopes 501 ANC' and pair accordingly. Enter ‘0000’ as the passkey if asked.

Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected successfully via Bluetooth.

Long touch the CTC on either of the earbuds for 3 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

Single tap the CTC of the left/right earbud to answer an incoming call and once again to hang up an ongoing call.

Double-tap the CTC of the left/right earbud to reject incoming calls.

Single tap the left/right CTC once to play or pause a song.

  1. Next Track: When playing music, double-tap the right CTC to skip to the next song.

  2. Previous Track: When playing music, double-tap the left CTC to return to the previous song.

1. Check if the connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

6. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

7. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct (5V/2A) for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level or use an alternate charger.

3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, long press the multifunction buttons (MFB) for 5 seconds until the LED begins to flash.

4. Ensure that the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires, exposure to direct sunlight, or hazards like fire.

5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with an alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

3. Ensure that the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

  1.  Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

  3. Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

  4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

2. Place the earbud’s in the charging case and then try using them again.

3. Try factory resetting the device.

1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device that you are trying to use IWP with before.

2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has charging in it to have IWP functioning.

General FAQs

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage, the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.
