Troubleshooting FAQs

1.Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicating that by alternating green and red LED flashes on either earbud.

2.Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3.Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections or not.

4.Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.

5.Check if the device being connected to does have any software issues or not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

Factory Reset of 421 V2

Step 1: Power off earbuds (earbuds outside the case)

Step 2: Long touch both CTCs for 10 seconds until Purple LED flashes on the earbuds for 3 times

Step 3: Place back the earbuds inside the case and close the lid

Step 4: Once you take the earbuds out from the charging case, they automatically restart

Congratulations! Your Airdopes 421v2 has been Reset.

1.Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.

2.If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.

3.Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4.Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.

5.Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

1.Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2.Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

3.Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

4.Try factory-resetting the device.

Simply the earbuds back in to the case and take them out or perform the factory reset.

1.  To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

2.  A solid Red LED for 2 secs will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged, the LED indicator goes off.

Note:

Before using the ear-buds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the ear-buds. Also, please keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging

Low Battery: If the battery is 20% or below, it gets indicated by rapid Red LED flashes over a few minutes span

To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

Warning: Please do not charge the carrying case with “9V” or “12V” output. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the case. Charge only according to the charging norms mentioned on packaging and manual (not more than 5V 2A).

1.  Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.

2.  Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

3.  Check if the type-C port on the case is damaged or not.

1.  Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds

2.  Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

3.  Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector place on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again

4.  After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

5.  After cleaning, put the right earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

6. Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

1.  Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.

2.  Check if the charging pin of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

3.  Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.

4.  Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.

1.Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

2.Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

3.Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

4.Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

5.Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

6.Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

7.Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

2.Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

3.Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.

4.Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

5.Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

2.Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

3.Check if the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

4.Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

3. Try factory-resetting the device.

4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has battery in it to have IWP functioning.

  1. Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.

  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device.Though under some circumstance, this feature may or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

General FAQs

Step 1: To Switch ON the earbuds (Smart Power ON), simply open the lid of the charging case (when earbuds are inside). Our IWP (Insta Wake N’ Pair) technology enables the
earbuds to power ON automatically, get connected and enter into the Connection
Mode.
OR Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 2 seconds to manually power ON the earbuds.

Step 2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into Connection Mode, indicated by Red and Blue LED flashes.​

Step 1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

Step 2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation.

Step 3: The earbuds will automatically switch OFF and enter into the charging mode.

Step 1: Long touch the CTC on either earbuds for 8 seconds.

Step 2: Once the earbuds get turned OFF, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

Step 2: Long touch both CTCs for 10 seconds until Purple LED flashes on the earbuds for 3 times

Both the earbuds can be used in “Mono Mode”

Step 1: Use Smart Power ON to switch on the desired earbud.

Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the Connection Mode first indicated by a Blue LED flash for 1 second and then by Red & Blue LED flashes.

Step 3: Turn ON the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes 421v2” to connect.​

NOTE:

  1. To switch to Stereo Mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power ON and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling stereo usage.

  2. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono Mode.

Step 1: Switch ON the earbuds; a blue light will flash to confirm that they have been switched ON. Both earbud’s will pair with one another automatically.

Step 2: The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating green and blue LED flashes.

Step 3: Turn ON the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

Step 4: Search for ‘Airdopes 421 V2’ and pair accordingly. Enter ‘0000’ as the passkey if asked. Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected successfully via Bluetooth.

Long touch the CTC on left earbud for 3 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

1.  Single tap on the CTC of either of the earphones once, would result in answering an incoming call.

2.  Once done talking, single tap on the CTC of either of the earphones once, would result in ending the call.

Double tap the CTC on either of the earbuds to reject incoming calls.

Tap the CTC on either earbud to play/pause music at your convenience. 

  1. Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right CTC to skip to the next song.

  2. PreviousTrack: When playing music, double tap the left CTC to return to the previous song.

Volume cannot be changed from earbuds. It can only be changed from the media device connected with the Airdopes 421v2.

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device

1.  No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

2.  Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

After long usage, residual stains and perspiration can affect the In-Ear Detection area or Touch control area. Please use a clean cloth to wipe those areas softly.

No. Airdopes 421 V2 does not support aptX codec by Qualcomm.

No. Airdopes 421 V2 does not support CVC technology.

Yes, Airdopes 421 V2 supports Type-C charging. If your mobile charger comes with Type-C charging support then you can easily charge your device using your mobile charger.

The Airdopes 421 V2 does support low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes 421 V2 is not the right product.​

Place the earbuds back in to the charging case and try using them again or perform Factory Reset.

Airdopes 421 V2 is IPX6 Water and Sweat resistant. You can use it for your workouts or carry them on long trips. However, it is recommended that they should not be submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
