Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

5. If the issue still does not get resolved then perform a factory reset

1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.

2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long press the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) for 8 seconds on both the earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.

3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.

5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

1. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

2. Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes 402:

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop

Step 1: Place the earbuds inside the case and close the lid.

Step 2: Take out both the earbuds from the charging case and Long press the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) for 8 seconds and wait till the Red/Blue LED flashes.

Step 3: Place back the earbuds inside the case in the correct orientation.

Step 4: Open the case lid, perform a fresh connection attempt. To perform a connection attempt, pair your airbuds to your device again and then connect by selecting the device name. Congratulations, your Airdopes 402 has been reset!

  1. Put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation. 

  2. To charge the case, plug in the provided USB cable and connect it to any USB port, for eg- a wall adapter or computer. 

  3. The 4 LEDs aligned horizontally on the charging case indicate the charge/battery status. 

  4. Once all 4 lights are illuminated after charging, then the case gets completely charged. 

  5. A red light on the earbuds will indicate they are being charged. 

  6. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are full charged. This light will go o once the earbuds get fully charged.

  7. When both the earbuds are fully charged, the carrying case will switch off to save power.

  1. To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  2. Red LEDs flash while the case is on charging. When the charging case is fully charged, it gets indicated by solid white LED.

1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.

2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not more than 5V 2A as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

3. Please ensure that the charging port is not damaged.

1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds.

2.  Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

3.  Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector pins (golden coloured metal pins located at the bottom) on the earbuds with a clean cloth dipped in mild alcohol, apply a medium pressure while cleaning and check the charging of the earbuds again.

4.  After cleaning, put both the earbuds into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

5.  Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

1. Check if the charging pins of the case and the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

2. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.

3. Check if the charging pins of the earbuds (golden coloured metal pins located at the bottom) are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning the charging pins with cotton swab dipped in alcohol and apply a medium pressure while cleaning.

1.Power ON:

Step1: Take out the earbuds from the charging case.

Step2: Please wait while both the earbuds automatically pair with each other. The earbuds go in to connection mode indicated by alternate Blue/Red lights.

Note:

  1. Both the earbuds are master earbuds.

  2. Pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes. If the pairing time is missed then you will need to reconnect the earbuds and follow the above mentioned procedure.

  3. Airdopes 402 remembers the previously connected devices. Once switched ON, the earbuds automatically reconnect with the previously paired device.

2.Power OFF:

Smart Power Off:

Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears

Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the lid of the case to power them OFF.

Step3: The LED indicates that it is being charged.

Manual Power Off:

Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbud for 5 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.

Step 2. Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

  1. Place the earbuds inside the case and close the lid.

  2. Take out both the earbuds from the charging case and Long press the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) for 8 seconds and wait till the Red/Blue LED flashes.

  3. Place back the earbuds inside the case in the correct orientation.

  4. Open the case lid, erform a fresh connection attempt. To perform a connection attempt, pair your airbuds to your device again and then connect by selecting the device name. Congratulations, your Airdopes has been reset!

Step 1: At this stage your earbuds are in stereo mode & connected to your Bluetooth device. 

Step 2: Simply remove right or left earbud from your ear. 

Step 3: Place the right or left Earbud back into the Charging Case. 

Step 4: Congratulations, you are now using mono/solo mode.

Note:

Both the earbuds are master earbuds; single earbud usage will work on both the earbuds.

To switch to stereo mode, simply take out the earbud that has been kept inside the case. It will automatically power on and get paired with the other earbud, hence enabling the stereo usage.

Long press the CTC for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once
again to hang up an ongoing call.

Long press the CTC for 1.5 seconds to reject incoming calls

Tap the CTC on either earbud to play/pause music at your convenience. 

  1. Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right CTC to skip to the next song.

  2. PreviousTrack: When playing music, double tap the left CTC to return to the previous song.

1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/default.

2. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

4. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct (5V/2A) for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level or use an alternate charger.

3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, long press the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC)/ the touch sensor on both earbuds for 8 seconds until the LED begins to flash.

4. Ensure that the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires, exposure to direct sunlight, or hazards like fire.

5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with an alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

3. Ensure that the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Try factory resetting the device

  3. Ensure that the connected device is within the Bluetooth range (10m) and there is no obstruction between the airdopes and the connected device

  4. If sweat or water has gone inside the microphone then try to clean it with a cotton swab dipped in mild alchohol.

1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device that you are trying to use IWP with before.

2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

3. Try factory-resetting the device.

4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has charging in it to have IWP functioning.

  1.  Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.

  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device.Though under some circumstance, this feature may or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

General FAQs

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

Yes. Airdopes 402 supports ENx technology.

Airdopes 402 wireless earbuds offer battery backup of up to 4 hours on a single charge. They also give a total playback time of 20 hours along with the charging case.

No. Airdopes 402 does not support fast charging.
