Troubleshooting FAQs

1.Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicating that by alternating green and red LED flashes on either earbud.

2.Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3.Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections or not.

4.Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.

5.Check if the device being connected to does have any software issues or not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if it still does not work try factory resetting the device.

1.Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.

2.If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.

3.Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4.Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.

5.Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

1.Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2.Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

3.Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

4.Try factory-resetting the device.

Simply the earbuds back in to the case and take them out or perform the factory reset.

Step 1: Please insert theearbuds back inside the charging case in correct orientation.

Step 2: A green LED willindicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged the LED turns into blue.

Step 3: Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power

​1.  To charge the case, plug in the USB cable and connect it to any USB port. 

2.  The circle LED will flash red when on charging, after it is completely charged red light will go off. 

3.  It will take 1.5 hrs to completely charge. 

4.  The earbuds can be charged a total of 3 times if the case is at full battery.

Warning: please do not charge the carrying case with “9V” or “12V” output. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the case.

1.Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.

2.Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

1.Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds

2.Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

3.Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector pins on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again

4.After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

5.After cleaning, put the right earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

6.Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

1.Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.

2.Check if the charging pin of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

3.Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.

4.Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.

1.Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

2.Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

3.Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

4.Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

5.Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low charging levels.

6.Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

7.Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

2.Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

3.Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.

4.Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

5.Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

1.Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

2.Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

3.Check if the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

4.Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

  3. Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.

  4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

Factory Resetting the Airdopes 391

1.   Ensure the earbuds are inside the case. 

2.  Long press the CTC for 10 seconds while the earbuds are inside, and wait till purple and red led flashes. 

3.   Take out earbuds out of the charging case, and wait for blue led to ash. 

4.   Proceed to put the earbuds back again in the case.

5.   Red led should ignite, indicating that it is charging. 

Congratulations, factory reset is completed.

1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

3. Try factory-resetting the device.

4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has battery in it to have IWP functioning.

  1. Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri should be enabled to use this feature from your device.

  2. Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media screen of the device.Though under some circumstance, this feature may or may not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

General FAQs

1.Power ON:

Step1: To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of the charging case (when earbuds are inside). Our IWP™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) Technology enables the earbuds to power on automatically, get connected and enter into the connection mode. OR
Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 3 seconds to manually power on the earbuds.

Step2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode. Once the earbuds are powered on Red and Blue LED will indicate the same.

2.Power OFF:

Smart Power Off:

Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears

Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation

Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode) 

Manual Power Off:

Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbud for 8 seconds to manually power off the earbuds.

Step 2. Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

1.   Ensure the earbuds are inside the case. 

2.   Long press the CTC for 10 seconds while the earbuds are inside, and wait till purple and red led flashes. 

3.   Take out earbuds out of the charging case, and wait for blue led to ash. 

4.   Proceed to put the earbuds back again in the case.

5.   Red led should ignite, indicating that it is charging. 

Congratulations, factory reset is completed.

STEP 1: At this stage your earbuds are in stereo mode & connected to your Bluetooth device. 

STEP 2: Simply remove right or left earbud from your ear. 

STEP 3: Place the right or left Earbud back into the Charging Case. 

STEP 4: Congratulations, you are now using mono/solo mode.

Note: There is no Master Earbud.

To switch to stereo mode, simply take the earbud (L/R) out of the case & place it in your ear. The earbud will automatically power on & pair with each other hence enabling it for stereo usage.

Press the CTC on either earbud for 3 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once again to hang up an ongoing call.

Double tap the CTC on either earbud to reject incoming calls

Single tap the left/right CTC once to play or pause a song.

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

Airdopes 381 wireless earbuds offer battery backup of up to 4 hours on a single charge. They also give a total playback time of 20 hours along with the charging case.
