General FAQs
POWER ON:
Smart power On: To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are kept inside.
Manual Power On: To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) for 3 seconds on both right and left earbuds and release. This is indicated with solid white LED for 1 second followed by a tone prompt.
Power OFF:
Smart Power Off :
After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.
Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid. The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter charging mode).
Manual Power Off: Long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) on both earbuds for 7 seconds (one at a time) till the earbuds get turned off, to manually switch off the earbuds. Solid white LED flashes for 1 second followed by a tone prompt.
To perform a reset on your Airdopes 280 ANC:
NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Airdopes 280 ANC" from the pairing device history by forgetting the device.
Place the earbuds within the case in the correct orientation and keep the case lid open.
Press the reset button inside the charging case for 10 seconds. White LED rapidly blinks 5 times on both earbuds and red LED rapidly blinks 5 times on the case after successful reset.
Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.
Open the case lid. Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.
Congratulations! Your Airdopes 280 ANC has been reset.
Plug both earbuds into your ears to answer incoming calls OR
Single tap the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) on either earbud to answer an incoming call
Double tap the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) on either earbud to end an ongoing call or reject incoming calls.
Simply plug in the earbuds inside your ears to start playback and remove them to pause music OR
While playing music, single tap on the left or right earbud CTC to pause or play the track.
While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC to return to the previous track.
While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC to skip to the next track
Volume can only be adjusted via phone/media devices
Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.
The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by white LED flashes.
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes 280 ANC” to connect.
Switch the earbuds on; both the earbuds automatically enter into Connection Mode.
This is indicated with white LED flashes on the master earbud
Turn the Bluetooth On functionality on your phone/media device and scan.
Search for ‘Airdopes 280 ANC’ and tap on the same for pairing & connecting via Bluetooth.
To switch to Stereo mode from Mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power On and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.
You can only skip to the "next track" using the right earbud in Mono/Stereo mode.
You can only switch to the "previous track" using the left earbud in Mono/Stereo mode.
Tap the right earbud's Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) 5 times to de-activate In-Ear detection.
Tap the right earbud's Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) times again to activate In-Ear detection.
Tap the left earbud's Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) 3 times to activate BEAST™ mode. Tap the left earbud CTC 3 times again to de-activate BEAST™ mode.
Long touch the CTC on the right earbud for 3 seconds to toggle between Normal (ANC Off), Ambient, and ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) audio modes.
Note:
By default, the Normal mode is active.
The earbuds will enable Normal mode by default when they are powered on next time.
Low battery (<20%) : White LED quickly blinks 3 times every 30 seconds with a tone prompt every 5 minutes
Power On : Solid white LED flashes for 1 second on opening the lid
Power Off : Solid white LED flashes for 1 second when powered off manually
Pairing Mode : White LED flashes on the master earbud
Pairing successful (1 time indication) : Solid white LED flashes for 3 seconds
If pairing not successful (In pairing mode) : The earbuds will show solid White LED for 1 second and auto power off
Connected : White LED flashes every 20 seconds and there is No LED flash when media is playing
Disconnected : Solid red LED flashes for 1 second and the earbuds power off automatically
Earbuds Charging : White LED flashes 3 times on earbuds while opening the lid
Fully Charged : White LED flashes 3 times on the case while opening the lid
Playing Music : All lights are OFF (But "Connected" status will remain)
Factory Reset : White LED blinks 5 times on both earbuds and red LED blinks 5 times on the case after a successful reset.
Our IWP™ technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.
Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!
There is no special process to enable IWP™- simply follow the steps to first pair your Airdopes 280 ANC to your media device. Then upon subsequent usage, the IWP™ tech will be enabled and the earbuds will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on in your media device.
Yes, Airdopes 280 ANC is integrated with 2 mics per earbud.
Airdopes 280 ANC does support 65 ms low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes 280 ANC is not the right product

No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume controls on them. The volume must be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.
Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.
No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and there is no provision to turn them off or lower their volume.
To charge the earbuds, put them into the charging case in their correct orientation.
While charging, the white LED on the case remains solid ON for 5 seconds.
Once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and the LED indicator turns off.
To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.
Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V/2A
Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands @0.10mm diameter/strand
Any other accessory can be used for charging the earbuds as long as the above norms are followed.
Note :
Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds as well as the charging case. Also, keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging.
While your earbuds do have IPX5 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
