Power ON
There are two ways to switch the ear buds on
Smart Power ON: To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of the charging case (when earbuds are inside). Our IWP™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) Technology enables the earbuds to power on automatically, get connected and enter into the connection mode
Manual Power ON: Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 3 seconds to manually power on the earbuds
Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode.
Once the earbuds are powered and in connection mode, it is indicated by red and white LEDs
Power OFF
Smart Power OFF : After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears; Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid; The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode)
Manual Power OFF : Long touch the CTC on both earbud for 5 seconds to manually power off. Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case and close the lid.
Once the earbuds are powered off just before that 1 second solid white LED blink will indicate the same
To perform a reset on Airdopes 161 Probuds :
(Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop )
Place the earbuds inside the case in correct orientation but don't close the lid.
While the earbuds are inside the case, long press the Reset button for 10 seconds. A successful reset is indicated by flashing of White LED on the charging case.
Close the lid for 5 seconds and then re-open it.
As soon as you open the lid of the carry case, the earbuds power on and the factory reset gets completed
Perform a fresh connection attempt and enjoy!
Congratulations! Your Airdopes 161 Probuds has been Reset.
Answer Call : Single tap on the touch sensors of both the earbuds once, this would result in answering an incoming call
End Call : Double tap on the touch sensors of both the earbuds once, this would result in ending the call
Double tap the touch sensors of both the earbuds for 2 seconds, this would result in rejecting incoming calls
While playing music, single tap on the left/right touch sensor, this results in pause and another tap will result in play
Previous Track : While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s touch sensor, this would result in returning to the previous track
Next Track : While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s touch sensor, this would result in jumping to the next track
Volume could only be adjusted via phone/media devices
Long tap and hold CTC of left earbud for 3 secs to activate the voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri
Both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options mentioned below-
Smart Power on or Manual Power on for switching on the desired earbud
The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternating green and red LED flashes
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for ‘boAt Airdopes 161 Probuds’ to connect
Note: You cannot skip music tracks or return to the previous track in Mono mode
Switch the earbuds On; a red and white light will flash to confirm that they have been switched on. Both earbuds will pair with one another automatically.
The earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating red and white LED flashes
Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan
Search for ‘Airdopes 161 Probuds’ and pair accordingly. Enter ‘0000’ as the passkey if asked.
Your earbuds are now connected successfully via Bluetooth
Note:
•Pairing mode lasts for 3 minutes. If the pairing time is missed then you will need to reconnect the ear-buds and follow the above-mentioned procedure
•Airdopes 161 Probuds remembers previously connected devices; once switched on, the ear-buds automatically reconnect to the previously connected devices
Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.
Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!
There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on on your media device.
Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.
Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.
Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the airdopes in the list of paired devices.
Try factory-resetting the device.
No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.
No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.
Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

While your earbuds do have IPX5 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
