Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

5. If the issue still does not get resolved then perform a factory reset

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode.

  2. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  3. Check and see if factory resetting the device work as desired or not.

  4. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes 155 :

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop

  1. Place the earbuds inside the case

  2. While earbuds are inside, long press the Reset button located inside the case for 10 seconds, until LED flashes 5 times

  3. Close the lid, wait for 5 seconds and then reopen it

  4. Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.

Note: To complete the factory reset, all of the above steps should be performed.

1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

2. Once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power.

  • To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  1. Ensure that the charger being used has an output of 5V 2A only else the charging case can get damaged. Make sure the charging cable wire is not broken.

  2. To charge the case, plug one end of the provided cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter.

Note: The LED indicator located on the charging case indicates the battery status of the case. White LED flashing slowly indicates charging and solid white LED indicates full charge.

  1. Try to manually power on the earbuds, long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (Touch Sensor) for 3 seconds on both earbuds simultaneously.

  2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation. A solid white light on the case indicates they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

  3. Check if the charging pins of the case and the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

  4. Clean the charging pins on the earbuds with a clean cloth dipped in mild alcohol, apply a medium pressure while cleaning and check the charging of the earbuds again. After cleaning, put both the earbuds into the case in desired orientation and close the lid and then connect it with a 5V 2A charger.

  1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ none/ 0.

  2. Perform a factory reset.

  3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

  4. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

  2. Make sure the voltage of your charger is correct (Output = 5V 2A) for the charging case and if the lights at the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check by manually switching the earbuds On, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in red and blue.

  4. Try cleaning the charging pins with an alcohol swab. Now place the earbuds inside the case and shut the lid. Open the lid after 5 seconds and check if the earbud LEDs are blinking now.

  5. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

  3. Ensure that the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

  4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control. Clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Try factory resetting the device

  3. Ensure that the connected device is within the Bluetooth range (10m) and there is no obstruction between the airdopes and the connected device

  4. If sweat or water has gone inside the microphone then try to clean it with a cotton swab dipped in mild alchohol.

  1. Check if your Airdopes has IWP tech integrated.

  2. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

  3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

General FAQs

There are two ways to switch the ear buds on:

Smart Power On :

To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply take out the earbuds from the carry case starting from the right earbud and then the left earbud.

Manual Power On :

To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC (Touch Sensor)) for 3 seconds on both Right and Left earbuds.

  • Smart Power Off:

  1. After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears

  2. Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation

  3. The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter the charging mode)

  • Manual Power Off:

Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 5 seconds till the earbuds get turned off, to manually switch off the earbuds.

  1. Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud

  2. The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by Red and Blue LED flashes.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes 155”

  1. Switch the earbuds on; Both the earbuds automatically enter into the Connection Mode

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.

  3. Search for ‘Airdopes 155’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth.

  4. To switch to Stereo mode from mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.

  5. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode

  • Single tap on the CTC (Touch Sensor) of either of the earphones once, would result in answering an incoming call

  • Double tap on the CTC (Touch Sensor) of either of the earphones once, would result in ending the call.

  • Courtesy the In-Ear Detection feature, putting on earbuds plays tracks whereas removing them from ears helps to pause the tracks.

Alternative:

  • While playing music, single tap on the left/right CTC (Touch sensor) results in pause and another tap will result in play

  • Previous Track : While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s touch sensor would result in returning to the previous track

  • Next Track : While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s touch sensor would result in jumping to the next track

  1. Activating Wear Detection : Tap the right earbud's CTC 5 times to activate wear detection on both earbuds.

  2. De-activating Wear Detection : Tap the right earbud's CTC 5 times once again to de-activate wear detection on both earbuds.

Note: This functionality applies to both the left and right earbuds. Also, upon every subsequent Power On, the earbuds remembers & resets to the previous state of wear detection.

  • Volume could only be adjusted via phone/media devices.

  • Long touch CTC (Touch Sensor) of left earbud for 3 secs to activate the voice assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri

  • Triple tapping the either of the earbud’s CTC (Touch Sensor ) will active BEAST mode for gaming. Triple tap either of the CTC (Touch Sensor) again to deactivate BEAST mode.

  • No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and there is no provision to turn them off or lower their volume.

  • No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume controls on them. The volume must be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  • Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

  • Yes

  • The Airdopes 155 does support low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes 155 is not the right product.

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

  • There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

  • While your earbuds do have IPX4 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
