Why are the earbuds not connecting via Bluetooth?

If your earbuds aren't connecting, please try these steps:

Ensure your Bluetooth is On and check the pairing mode by ensuring the earbuds are ready to connect.
You'll see alternate LED lights blinking on the earbuds to show they're in pairing mode.
Make sure your earbuds and the connecting device are within 10 meters of range, and nothing is blocking the signal between them (Wall/ Furniture).
If your device asks for a passcode, please enter 0000.
If your issue persists, then try performing a factory reset - Before performing a reset, unpair your product from Bluetooth.
In case the LED of any earbud doesn’t blink then try manually powering it On and then proceed with the reset.

Why are the earbuds stuck in Mono Mode?

When both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter Connection Mode, indicated by alternating red and blue LED flashes.
If one of them fails to Smart Power On, try manually switching the earbud on (Manual Power On) - long touch the CTC for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash blue.
Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.
Check and see if factory-resetting the device works.

Why is one of the earbuds not working or disconnecting frequently?

Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case. The earbuds will enter Connection Mode indicated by alternating red and blue LED flashes.
Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.
Check and see if factory resetting the device works.
Resetting the device usually resolves such issues. To perform a reset:

NOTE: Before performing reset, clear "Airdopes 141 Gen 2" from pairing device history by forgetting the device.

Open the lid of the charging case and place the earbuds within the case.
Long press the reset button on the charging case for 5 seconds. All four LEDs blink (3+2) 5 times on the case. Red LED blinks 5 times on the earbuds.
Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.
Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.
If the issue does not resolve through reset, then try to manually Power Off and then Power On.

Why is the Insta Wake N' Pair (IWP™) feature not working?

If IWP™ isn't functioning:

Confirm that your Airdopes model has IWP™ tech integrated.
Make sure you have paired the earbuds at least once before to the device you are trying to use IWP™ with.
Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and your product name is in the list of paired devices.
Try factory-resetting the device.

How to charge the earbuds?

To charge the earbuds, put them into the charging case in their correct orientation.
If single/both earbuds are charging inside the case, the red LED remains solid on.
When both the earbuds are fully charged, the blue LED remains solid on for 30 seconds and then turns off. The charging case automatically switches off to save power.

How to charge the charging case?

To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

Why is the charging case is not charging?

Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken.
Use other wires and ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case.

Why are the earbuds not charging?

Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the correct orientation.
If single/both earbuds are charging inside the case, the red LED remains solid on.
Blue LED remains solid on for 30 seconds and then turns off when both earbuds have been completely charged.
Check if the charging pins of the case and the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.
You may clean the pogo pins by gently cleaning them using cotton swabs dipped in alcohol.

What are the charging norms and guidelines?

Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A
Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands @0.10mm diameter/strand
Any other accessory can be used for charging the earbuds if the above norms are followed.

Note : Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds as well as the charging case. Also, keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging.

What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality? or if the sound output is muffled?

Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ none/ 0.
Perform a factory reset.
If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clean the earbuds to restore the original sound.
In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance (Caution - Prevent your product from overheating through the dryer).

What to do if the device does not power on?

Make sure the charging case is charged. Try to manually power on the earbuds, the powering on is indicated by LED lights on the earbuds.
If the earbuds do not power On, try cleaning the pogo pins (magnetic charging pins) of the earbuds with cotton dipped in alcohol swab/spirit.
Later, wipe it with a dry cotton to not let any moisture retain on the surface.
Now place the earbuds inside the charging case, shut the lid and open it after 5 seconds.
The earbud LEDs will start blinking as they automatically power on.

What to do if the in-built controls of the device are not working?

To troubleshoot control issues:

Check if the controls do not work while being connected to another device.
Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on a call or with other media players.
Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

What should I do if my voice is muffled during calls or the microphone input is muffled?

Try restarting the device.
Perform a factory reset.
Make sure there are no objects between your earbuds and your connected device.
Try moving your device closer to the earbuds to see if the connection improves.
Look closely at the microphone hole for any dirt or earwax. If the microphone seems blocked, gently clean that area.

How do I power on the earbuds?

Smart Power On - To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are kept inside.
Manual Power On - To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (CTC) for 3 seconds on both right and left earbuds.

How do I power off the earbuds?

Smart Power Off - For Smart Power Off, after usage, place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the case lid. The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter charging mode).
Manual Power Off - To manually power them off, long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 5 seconds (one at a time) to manually switch off the earbuds. Red LED is on for 2 seconds followed by a voice prompt to indicate the same.

How do I factory reset my earbuds?

NOTE: Before performing a reset, clear "Airdopes 141 Gen 2" from pairing device history by forgetting the device.

Open the lid of the charging case and place the earbuds within the case.
Long press the reset button on the charging case for 5 seconds. All four LEDs blink (3+2) 5 times on the case. Red LED blinks 5 times on the earbuds.
Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.
Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.

How do I answer a call?

Single tap the CTC on either earbud to answer an incoming call.

How do I end or reject a call?

Double tap the CTC on either earbud to end an ongoing call or reject incoming calls.

How do I play or pause music?

While playing music, single tap on the left or right earbud CTC to pause or play the track.

How do I change music tracks?

While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC to return to the previous track.
While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC to skip to the next track.

How do I change the volume?

Volume can only be adjusted via phone/media devices.

How do I use a single earbud (mono mode)?

Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud.
The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes 141 Gen 2” to connect.

How do I use both earbuds (stereo mode)?

Switch the earbuds on; both the earbuds automatically enter Connection Mode.
Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.
Search for ‘Airdopes 141 Gen 2’ and tap on the same for pairing & connecting via Bluetooth.
To switch to Stereo mode from Mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.

How do I activate the voice assistant?

Long touch the left earbud CTC for 3 seconds to activate ‘Google Assistant’ for Android devices and ‘Siri’ for iOS devices.

What are the LED indications for the earbuds and the charging case?

Case LED Indications (Non-Charging State):

100%: 4 LEDs show.
75%: 3 LEDs show.
50%: 2 LEDs show.
25%: 1 LED shows.
10-15%: 1 LED fast flashes.

Case LED Indications (Charging State):

0-25%: 1st LED is flashing.
25-50%: 1st LED is solid on, 2nd LED is flashing.
50-75%: 2 LEDs are solid on, 3rd LED is flashing.
75-100%: 3 LEDs are solid on, 4th LED is flashing.

Case LED indication when Earbuds are charging from the case:

If single/both earbuds are charging inside the case, the red LED remains solid on.

When both the earbuds are fully charged, the blue LED remains solid on for 30 seconds and then turns off.

Earbuds LED Indications:

Low battery (<20%): Red light quickly blinks 3 times every 30 seconds on opening the lid.
Power ON: Solid blue light flashes for 2 seconds on opening the lid.
Power OFF: Solid red LED flashes for 2 seconds when powered off.
Pairing mode: Alternate red and blue LED flashes on the master earbud, and the slave earbud LED flashes blue once every 5 seconds.
Pairing successfully (1 time indication): Solid blue LED flashes for 3 seconds.
If pairing is not successful (In pairing mode): The earbuds will show a solid red light once and auto power off.
Connected: Solid blue light flashes once every 20 seconds on both the earbuds. No LED flash when the media is playing.
Disconnected: Same as Pairing mode.
Earbuds Charging: Red LED remains solid on opening the lid.
Fully charged: Blue LED remains solid on for 30 seconds and then turns off.
Playing music: All lights are OFF (But "Connected" status will remain).

Factory Reset LED Indications:

After a successful factory reset, all four LEDs blink (3+2) 5 times on the case and red LED blinks 5 times on the earbuds.

What is Insta Wake N’ Pair (IWP™) technology?

Our IWP™ technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.
Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first!

How to enable IWP™ for my earbuds?

There is no special process to enable IWP™- simply follow the steps to first pair your Airdopes 141 Gen 2 to your media device. Then upon subsequent usage, the IWP™ tech will be enabled and the earbuds will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on in your media device.

Does this product have dual microphones?

Yes, Airdopes 141 Gen 2 is integrated with 2 mics per earbud.

Does this product have Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology?

Yes, it does.

Does this product support low latency for gaming?

Airdopes 141 Gen 2 does support 65 ms low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. However, if you’re looking for professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes 141 Gen 2 is not the right product.

Does this product have the aptX codec by Qualcomm?

No, it does not.

Does this product have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)?

No, it does not.

Can I control the volume using the integrated controls?

No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume controls on them. The volume must be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

Does this product support the voice assistant feature?

Yes, long touch the left earbud CTC for 3 seconds to activate ‘Google Assistant’ for Android devices and ‘Siri’ for iOS devices.

Can I lower the volume of the voice prompts/turn them off?

No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and there is no provision to turn them off or lower their volume.

Can I submerge my earbuds in water or swim with them?

While your earbuds do have IPX4 water and sweat resistance, it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers, as it may lead to damage.
