Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

5. If the issue still does not get resolved then perform a factory reset

1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating red and blue LED flashes.

2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC touch Function Button(CTC) for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash .

3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4. Check and see if hard resetting the device works

1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.

3. Check if there are any obstructions between the earpods and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earpod and see if it still affects it.

4. Try factory-resetting the device.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your 131 Pro:

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop

  1. Place the earbuds inside the case

  2. Long press the reset for 5 seconds; the LED on the charging case flashes quickly for 5 times after a successful reset.

  3. Take out earbuds from the case and perform the fresh connection.

Congratulations! Your Airdopes 131 Pro has been reset.

  1. Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.

  2. Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the

    device you are trying to use IWP with before.

  3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has

    the airdopes in the list of paired devices.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

Step 1: Take out both the earbuds from the case

Step 2: Long touch CTC on both the earbuds for 5 seconds; LED flashes quickly for 5 times.

Step 3: Place the earbuds inside the case, close lid and wait for few seconds.

Step 4: Take out earbuds from the case and perform the fresh connection.

1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

2. During charging, LED stays solid red

3. Once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and LED indicator turns BLUE and then turns off.

To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

WHITE LEDs flashes in sequence while the case is on charging.

When the charging case is fully charged, it gets indicated by solid Red LED.

Before using the earbuds for the first time, please fully charge the earbuds with the charging case lid being closed.

Charging through wall adapter – Specs of the adapter: 5V, 2A

Charging through cable/wire – Standard cable: 35 strands @0.10mm diameter/strand

Any other accessories could be used for charging the earphones as long as the above norms are followed.

Note: Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds as well as the charging case. Also, keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging

1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all

obstacles in the middle are removed.

3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at

high volumes.

4. Check to Check different media players and different devices and

if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low

charging levels.

6.Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do,

use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

7. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the

earbuds to restore the original sound.

1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A White light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

3. Check by switching on the earbud’ on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in White.

4. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire

1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

3. Ensure that the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

Step 1: Place the earbuds inside the case and let the case lid remain open

Step 2: Long press the case reset button for 10 seconds

Step 3: The case LED flashes red to indicate a successful factory reset

Step 4: Take out earbuds from the case and perform a fresh connection

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the

    microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.

  3. Check if swear or water has gone inside the microphone.

  4. Check if there are any obstructions between the earpods and the

    device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the

    earpod and see if it still affects it.

General FAQs

There are two ways to switch the ear buds on:

1. To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply

take out the earbuds from the carry case starting from the right

earbud and then the left earbud.

2. To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch

the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Right

and Left earbuds

Smart Power Off

Step 1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears

Step 2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct

orientation

Step 3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into

charging mode)

Manual Power Off

Long touch the CTC on either earbud for 8 seconds till the earbuds get

turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds. Please note

that it powers off both the earbuds.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode.

Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On

for switching on the desired earbud

Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection

mode indicated by white LED flashes

Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for

‘Airdopes 131 Pro”

1. Switch the earbuds on; Both the earbuds automatically enter into the Connection Mode

2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan

3. Search for ‘Nirvana Ion’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth

4. To switch to Stereo mode from mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage

5. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode

1. Single tap on the CTC of either of the earphones once, would result in answering an incoming call

2. If the earbuds are on the table, wearing any of the earbuds will pick up the call

3. Double tap the CTC of either of the earphones for ending the call

Double tap the CTC of either of the earphones for rejecting incoming calls

While playing music, single tap on the left/right CTC results in pause and another tap will result in play

Volume could only be adjusted via phone/media devices

Long touch for 3 seconds on the right earbud’s CTC will lead to activating Low Latency mode. It will be notified via a sound prompt.

Long touch on the right earbud again for 3 seconds will switch back to the standard mode

Yes. Airdopes 131 Prohas a dual microphone feature.

The Airdopes 131 Prodoes support low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes 131 Pro is not the right product.

Yes, boAt Airdopes 131 Pro has the Environmental Noise Cancellation feature and it comes with 4 microphones.

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.

Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the airdopes in the list of paired devices.

No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

While your earbuds do have a certain amount of water and sweat resistance (reply based on the IP level of the earbud) it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
