Troubleshooting FAQs

  1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

  2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

  3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

  4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

  5. If the issue still does not get resolved then perform a factory reset

  1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter the Connection Mode, indicated by alternating red and blue LED flashes.

  2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the CTC touch Function Button(CTC) for 3 seconds on both Left and Right earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash .

  3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

  4. Check and see if hard resetting the device works

  • Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.

  • Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes 125:

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop

  1. Take out the earbuds from the charging case, and long touch CTCs for 5 seconds on both the earbuds.

  2. Place the earbuds inside the Case (Earbuds will automatically power-off in the charging case).

  3. Close the lid, wait for 5 seconds. After successful factory reset, Red LED blinks quickly 5 times on Case and Earbuds.

  4. Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.

Congratulations, your Airdopes has been reset!

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes 125:

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop

  1. Take out the earbuds from the charging case, and long touch CTCs for 5 seconds on both the earbuds.

  2. Place the earbuds inside the Case (Earbuds will automatically power-off in the charging case).

  3. Close the lid, wait for 5 seconds. After successful factory reset, Red LED blinks quickly 5 times on Case and Earbuds.

  4. Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.

Congratulations, your Airdopes has been reset!

1. Check if your airdopes model has IWP tech integrated.

2. Make sure that you have paired the airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the airdopes in the list of paired devices.

4. Try factory-resetting the device.

  1. To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

  2. During charging, LED stays solid red

  3. Once the charging is complete, charging case automatically switches off to save power and LED indicator turns off

  • To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  1. Check to see if the wire connected to the case is not broken, use other wires and ensure that the charger being used is not of 9v or 12v as that will damage the case, The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

  2. To charge the case, plug one end of the provided cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter. A Red LED indicates charging and Red LED stays solid on indicate full charge.

Note: The LED indicator located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case. The charging gets indicated by Red LED on charging case. Once fully charged, all the LED remain solid. Use only 5V 2A charger.

  1. Try to manually power on the earbuds, long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (Touch Sensor) for 3 seconds on both earbuds simultaneously.This is indicated by blue and red LED flashes.

  2. Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation. A solid white light on the case indicates they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

  3. Check if the charging pins of the case and the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

  4. Clean the charging pins on the earbuds with a clean cloth dipped in mild alcohol, apply a medium pressure while cleaning and check the charging of the earbuds again. After cleaning, put both the earbuds into the case in desired orientation and close the lid and then connect it with a 5V 2A charger.

  1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/ default/ none/ 0.

  2. Perform a factory reset.

  3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

  4. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first, A red light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will turn off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

  2. Make sure the voltage of your charger is correct (Output = 5V 2A) for the charging case and if the lights at the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.

  3. Check by manually switching the earbuds On, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 3 seconds until the LED begins to flash in red and blue.

  4. Try cleaning the charging pins with an alcohol swab. Now place the earbuds inside the case and shut the lid. Open the lid after 5 seconds and check if the earbud LEDs are blinking now.

  5. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

  2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

  3. Ensure that the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

  4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control. Clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Try factory resetting the device

  3. Ensure that the connected device is within the Bluetooth range (10m) and there is no obstruction between the airdopes and the connected device

  4. If sweat or water has gone inside the microphone then try to clean it with a cotton swab dipped in mild alchohol.

General FAQs

There are two ways to switch the ear buds on:

  • Smart Power On :

To automatically switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of the charging case when earbuds are being kept inside

  • Manual Power On :

To manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long touch the Capacitive Touch Control (*CTC) for 3 seconds on both Right and Left earbuds

  • Smart Power Off :

  1. After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears

  2. Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation and close the case lid

  3. The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging mode)

  • Manual Power Off :

Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 5 seconds till the earbuds get turned off, in order to manually switch off the earbuds.

Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use either of the two options: Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on the desired earbud

The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode indicated by red and blue LED flashes

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for “Airdopes 125 ”

  1. Switch the earbuds on; Both the earbuds automatically enter into the Connection Mode

  2. Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan

  3. Search for ‘Airdopes 125 ’ and tap on the same for pairing & connect via Bluetooth

  4. To switch to Stereo mode from mono, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage

  1. Single tap on the CTC of either of the earbuds once, would result in answering an incoming call

  2. Double tap the CTC of either of the earphones would result in ending or rejecting incoming calls

  • While playing music, single tap on the left/right CTC results in pause and another tap will result in play

  • Previous Track : While playing music, double tap on the left earbud’s CTC would result in returning to the previous track

  • Next Track : While playing music, double tap on the right earbud’s CTC would result in jumping to the next track

  • Volume could only be adjusted via phone/media devices

  • Yes. Airdopes 125 has a dual microphone feature.

  • The Airdopes 125 does supports 50ms low latency for entertainment and casual gaming. But if you’re looking for a professional gaming equipment, then Airdopes 125 is not the right product.

  • Yes, boAt Airdopes 125 has the Environmental Noise Cancellation feature and it comes with 4 microphones.

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

  • There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

  1. Check if your Nirvana model has IWP tech integrated.

  2. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device you are trying to use IWP with before.

  3. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

  4. Try factory-resetting the device.

  • Yes, Airdopes 125 supports Type-C charging. If your mobile charger comes with Type-C charging support then you can easily charge your device using your mobile charger.

  • Yes. Airdopes 125 supports Fast Charging.

  • No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

  • No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  • Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

  • While your earbuds do have a certain amount of water and sweat resistance (reply based on the IP level of the earbud) it is recommended that they are not submerged inside water directly or used for prolonged periods inside water like for swimming/showers as it may lead to damage.
