Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Check if the device is in pairing mode, indicated by alternating LED flashes on both the earbuds.

2. Ensure that the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if there are any obstructions in between.

3. Clear all your pairing history and perform a fresh connection attempt.

4. If it is a passcode issue then enter 0000 / 1234.

5. If the issue still does not get resolved then perform a factory reset

1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED flashes.

2. If one of them fails to smart power on, to manually switch the earbuds on (Manual Power On), long press the Multifunction button (MFB) for 5 seconds on both the earbuds for switching them on until the LED light begins to flash in red and white colours.

3. Place the earbuds in the charging case and then try using them again. Check if it connects automatically.

4. Check and see if hard resetting the device work as desired or not.

5. Check if the earbuds are charging or not. If not then clean the earbuds and the charging case specially the charging pins and connectors with mild alcohol swab and see if it goes in charging mode or not.

Resetting your airdopes usually resolves this issue.

To perform a reset on your Airdopes 121V2:

There are two different methods for reset. Please attempt the primary reset method and if it doesn't work then try attempting the secondary reset method.

Note: Before performing a reset, go to settings and forget the device from your phone/laptop.

PRIMARY RESET :

  1. Before performing a reset, ensure that each earbud is in pairing mode (indicated by alternate red and the blue LEDs)

  2. Place one earbud inside the case and close the lid.

  3. When in pairing mode, triple press on the Multi Function Button (MFB )of the other earbud to reset it. The reset is indicated by a red LED flash for 2 seconds and then it turns Off.

  4. Place that earbud inside the case, take out the other earbud and close the lid.

  5. Triple press on the Multi Function Button (MFB) of the earbud to reset it and also check for the reset LED indication. Now, put it back inside the case and then close the lid.

  6. Open the case lid, perform a fresh connection attempt. To perform a connection attempt, pair your Airdopes to your device again and then connect by selecting the device name. Congratulations, your Airdopes has been reset!

  7. If the issue does not get resolved then long press the Multifunction buttons on both earbuds for 5 seconds to manually power ON the earbuds. The powering-On is indicated by an LED.

  1. Place both the earbuds inside the charging case in their correct orientation.

  2. Triple press the multifunction buttons on both earbuds to perform the factory reset. Once done, it gets indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.

  3. Shut the lid of the case and then reopen it again.

  4. Once you take the earbuds out from the case they automatically restart. Congratulations! Your Airdopes 121 V2 has been reset.

1.To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.

2.A solid White LED for 2 secs will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged, the LED indicator goes off

  1. To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.

  2. Red LEDs flash while the case is on charging. When the charging case is fully charged, it gets indicated by solid white LED.

1. Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.

2. Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not more than 5V 2A as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.

3. Please ensure that the charging port is not damaged.

1. Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds.

2.  Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.

3.  Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector pins (metal pins) on the earbuds with a clean cloth dipped in mild alcohol, apply a medium pressure while cleaning and check the charging of the earbuds again.

4.  After cleaning, put both the earbuds into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.

5.  Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.

1. Check if the charging pins of the case and the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.

2. Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.

3. Check if the charging pins of the earbuds (metal pins) are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning the charging pins with cotton swab dipped in alcohol and apply a medium pressure while cleaning.

Step 1: Take out the earbuds from the charging case, the earbuds will power ON automatically. OR

If they are already outside the case then you can long press the MFB (Multifunction Button) on both the earbuds for 3 seconds to manually switch them ON.

Step 2: Please wait for a few seconds while both the earbuds automatically pair with each other and go into the connection mode.

Note:

  1. Both the earbuds are master earbuds.

  2. Pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes. If the pairing time is missed then you will need to reconnect the earbuds and follow the above mentioned procedure.

  3. Airdopes 121 V2 remembers the previously connected devices. Once switched ON, the earbuds automatically reconnect with the previously paired device.​

Step 1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.

Step 2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct orientation.

Step 3: The earbuds will automatically switch OFF and enter into the charging mode.

Step 1: Long press the MFB for 5 seconds.

Step 2: Once the earbuds get turned OFF, place them back inside the case and close the lid.

  2. Triple tap the multifunction buttons on both earbuds to perform the factory reset. Once done, it gets indicated by alternate red and blue LED flashes.

  3. Shut the lid of the case and then reopen it again.

  4. Once you take the earbuds out from the case they automatically restart. Congratulations! Your Airdopes 121 V2 has been reset.

Both the earbuds can be used in “Mono Mode”

Step 1: At this stage your earbuds are in stereo mode and connected to Bluetooth device.

Step 2: Simply remove left/right earbud from your ear.

Step 3: Place the earbud back inside the charging case.

Step 4: Congratulations! You are now using mono mode.

NOTE:

  1. To switch to Stereo Mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power ON and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling stereo usage.

  2. You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono Mode.

Long press the MFB on either earbuds for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant.

Single press the MFB on either earbud to answer any incoming call and once again to hang up once done talking.

Press and hold the MFB on either earbud for 1.5 seconds to reject an incoming call.

Single press the MFB on either earbud to play/pause music at your convenience.

  1. Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right MFB to skip to the next song.

  2. PreviousTrack: When playing music, double tap the left MFB to return to the previous song.

Volume cannot be changed from earbuds. It can only be changed from the media device connected with the Airdopes 121 V2.

1. Go to the sound settings of your phone and set the equalizer to normal/default.

2. In case the earbuds have water droplets, use the blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.

3. If the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to restore the original sound.

4. If your device still does not get fixed then perform a factory reset

1. Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbuds have been completely charged.

2. Check if the voltage of the charger is correct (5V/2A) for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level or use an alternate charger.

3. Check by switching the earbuds on manually, long press the multifunction buttons (MFB) for 5 seconds until the LED begins to flash.

4. Ensure that the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires, exposure to direct sunlight, or hazards like fire.

5. Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with an alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.

1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

2. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players

3. Ensure that the controls have not been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

4. Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

  1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.

  2. Try factory resetting the device

  3. Ensure that the connected device is within the Bluetooth range (10m) and there is no obstruction between the airdopes and the connected device

  4. If sweat or water has gone inside the microphone then try to clean it with a cotton swab dipped in mild alchohol.

1. Make sure that you have paired the Airdopes at least once to the device that you are trying to use IWP with before.

2. Check if Bluetooth is turned on for your media device and it has the Airdopes in the list of paired devices.

3. Try factory-resetting the device.

4. Check if your Airdopes battery case has charging in it to have IWP functioning.

General FAQs

  1. Our IWP technology allows the earbuds to connect to your phone if they have already been paired before instantaneously upon opening the case.

  2. Simply open the case and ensure that the Bluetooth is turned on for your media device, the buds will connect as soon as the case is opened without the need to take them out of the case first.

There is no special process to enable IWP, simply follow the steps to pair your Airdopes to your media device first, then upon subsequent usage the IWP tech will be enabled automatically and the Airdopes will pair automatically to your previously paired media device if Bluetooth is turned on your media device.

After long usage, residual stains and perspiration can affect the In-Ear Detection area or Touch control area. Please use a clean cloth to wipe those areas softly.

No. Airdopes121 V2 does not support ENx Technology.

Yes, Airdopes 121 V2 supports Micro USB charging. If your mobile charger comes with Micro USB charging support then you can easily charge your device using your mobile charger.

No. Airdopes 121 V2 does not support Fast Charging.

Place the earbuds back in to the charging case and try using them again or perform Factory Reset.

No, the voice prompts are integrated inside the earbuds and as of now there is no feature to turn them off or lower their volume.

  1. No, the earbuds do not have any integrated volume control on them, the volume has to be controlled using your connected Bluetooth device.

  2. Ensure that in the Bluetooth settings of your media device, you have enabled syncing of Bluetooth and phone volume levels otherwise you may not be able to fully control the volume of the earbuds as intended.

No, Airdopes 121 v2 does not have Dust and Water resistance.
