1. ​The power cable used is not the original factory one, resulting in insufficient power supply: Please confirm whether the power cable used is the original matching model for this dashcam. If it is not the original, it is recommended to replace it with the factory power cable for troubleshooting.​

2. ​Malfunction due to faulty accessories: In the powered-off state, remove the memory card from the dashcam and unplug the middle or rear camera interface, then power on the device. Press the reset R hole (Reset) briefly or long until the device responds.​

1. ​Use only original 5V⎓1.5A car charger.​

2. ​Check cable routing for loose connection.​

3. ​Test with formatted SD card.​

1. ​Confirm the dashcam version: Some models have different power cables for car charger version (powered by cigarette lighter) and hardwire kit version (powered by fuse box). If the dashcam is of the car charger version and uses a hardwire kit for power, the dashcam will not turn off automatically after the car ignition is off because the hardwire kit is connected to B+ constant power, so it will continue to operate.​

2. ​If the car charger version of the dashcam is powered by the car charger and does not turn off after the car ignition is off, you can try unplugging the power cable from the dashcam to see if it can turn off normally: If it can turn off normally, then the car's cigarette lighter socket still has voltage output (some car models have constant power at the cigarette lighter after the ignition is off, and it will only cut off power after locking the car for a while). You can wait five minutes after turning off and locking the car to see if it can turn off.​

3. ​If the hardwire kit is powered, it is necessary to check whether the step-down cable is connected to the wrong fuse position (after the car is off, measure the fuse position connected to the ACC line of the step-down cable; if there is still voltage output, it indicates a wiring error). If the ACC line is connected to a constant power source, it will cause the dashcam not to turn off automatically after the car is off.​

1. ​Reinsert SD card (U3 Class 10, gold contacts facing lens).​

3. ​Avoid counterfeit or damaged cards.​

​Due to the large size of high-definition video data, when recording and storing video simultaneously, each frame of data is saved on the storage card. If a low-quality or slow card is used for storage, the processing speed of the storage card may not keep up with the speed required for recording, which can occasionally lead to automatic stopping of the recording process, making it impossible to take photos or record videos.​

​Solution:​

1. ​Check if the dashcam has detected the memory card; if there is no memory card, it will not store video.​

2. ​Check if the memory card is full and if there is enough space to save video; if it is full, you need to clear space to continue recording.​

3. ​Check if the loop recording function is enabled in the menu;​

4. ​If after powering on the device you receive prompts to format the memory card / incorrect memory card format / SD card error / memory error, please format it in the dashcam's settings before use:​

   1. ​For screenless dashcams, you can connect to the APP and format the SD card in the dashcam settings option.​

   2. ​For screen dashcams, you can format it in the screen settings function.​

5. ​If formatting fails on the dashcam, you can remove the memory card and format it on the computer.​

6. ​If you still cannot record after formatting the memory card in the dashcam's settings, you may need to replace the memory card.​

7. ​Confirm that the memory card is a Class 10, U3, A2 Speed memory card for the dashcam, and that the memory card capacity does not exceed the maximum supported expansion capacity of the dashcam.​

1. ​Motion detection (also called motion sensing) is enabled. When motion detection is enabled, the dashcam only records when there are horizontal objects moving in front of the lens; if there are no horizontal objects moving, it will not record. The sensitivity is not very high and may have some errors.​

2. ​Check if the memory card is installed. If there is no memory card, the dashcam may power on and then shut down. With a memory card, the dashcam will function normally and will not shut down.​

• ​Clean the physical device.​

1. ​Please confirm whether the power cable is the standard power cable for this model (some models may not display if the power supply is insufficient). If it is not the standard cable, please replace it with the standard power cable and check again.​

2. ​If the dashcam makes a startup sound but the screen does not light up after powering on, please try turn off the device, remove the memory card, and unplug the cabin or rear camera. Then power on the device and press the reset R hole (Reset) briefly or long until the device responds. ​

3. ​If a hardwire kit is connected, verify that the wiring is correct. Please connect the red wire to always powered, the yellow wire to ACC, and the black wire to ground.​

1. ​Check that the lens and protective film have been removed.​

2. ​Check for stains on the lens or windshield; wipe with a lint-free cloth before checking.​

3. ​If the display is unclear on a device without a screen, remove the memory card from the dash cam and connect it to a computer to check if the clarity is good. (Image quality on mobile apps may be compressed.)​

4. ​If the recorded video file is also unclear when checked on a computer, send the video file to official support to confirm whether this is a problem with the clarity standard of this model of dash cam or if the focus setting of the dash cam is incorrect.​

1. ​Confirm whether the rear camera used is the standard model for this dashcam; if not, there may be compatibility issues or even damage to the dashcam's mainboard, and you need to replace it with the standard rear lens for this model.​

2. ​Check if the rear camera interface is properly connected (ensure that the extension cable is securely connected to both the dashcam and the rear camera). ​

3. ​Rear camera cable or extension cable malfunction (may be caused by damage during installation).​

​Switching method for rear camera:​

​Different models have different operations for switching between front and rear views on the recording interface: some models require tapping the screen, others require swiping left or right, and some have a front/rear lens switch icon on the dashcam interface.​

1. ​Enter the settings menu to confirm whether the recording sound is turned off; if it is off, turn on the recording sound.​

2. ​If the recording sound is on in the settings menu but there is still no sound during playback, it can be determined that the dashcam has a malfunction. Please contact the customer service of the platform where you purchased your product.​

1. ​Please make sure your pronunciation is as clear as possible and without an accent.​

2. ​There may be a problem with the microphone, please contact customer service.​

• ​This is caused by enabling time-lapse recording or the one second one shot function; you can enter the settings menu to turn off this function.​

• ​The time-lapse recording, also known as time-lapse video, is a technique that compresses a longer recording into a shorter one, similar to the fast-forward function in movies. For dash cameras with time-lapse recording function, they record video at a rate of one frame per second during monitoring, and every 30 minutes of recording will be compressed into 1 minute for storage.​

​Possible reasons:​

3. ​The device is using an incompatible power cable.​

4. ​Frequent operation of buttons in a short period.​

​Solution:​

5. ​It is recommended to use class 10 U3 or above Micro SD memory card.​

6. ​Use the original power cable.​

7. ​Malfunction due to faulty accessories: In the powered-off state, remove the memory card from the dashcam and unplug the middle or rear camera interface, then power on the device. Press the reset R hole (Reset) briefly or long until the device responds.​

1. ​The parking monitoring function requires the installation of a hardwire kit. Please confirm whether the hardwire kit is connected correctly. Please confirm that the red wire is connected to the normal power, the yellow wire is connected to ACC, and the black wire is connected to the ground.​

2. ​If the hardwire is correctly installed with three wires, but the dashcam still prompts 'Please ensure the hardwire kit is connected' after turning on the parking monitoring option, this situation indicates that the dashcam has not detected ACC. Please confirm whether the vehicle is in ignition start status.​

1. ​Please format it in the settings of this device before use.​

   1. ​For screenless dashcams, you can connect to the APP and format the SD card in the dashcam settings option of the APP.​

   2. ​For screen dashcams, you can format it in the screen settings function.​

   3. ​If formatting fails on the dashcam, you can remove the memory card and format it on a computer.​

2. ​If method 1 does not resolve the issue, please replace the SD card with a new one for use.​

3. ​We recommend using a Class 10, U3, A2 Speed Micro-SD memory card, and the capacity must not exceed the maximum supported memory (the maximum supported memory can be found in the manual).​

1. ​When the voltage is low, the set time and date cannot be remembered, resulting in the inability to save the current time settings. It is recommended to set the date and time when there is sufficient battery power.​

2. ​If the time is set correctly, but after restarting the device, the dashcam's time reverts to the factory default time and the language version changes to English, this situation is caused by software loss. You can contact customer service to provide the version number, and they will send you the corresponding version of the software to resolve the issue.​

3. ​If the dashcam directly goes black screen without a delayed shutdown screen or shutdown prompt sound after the vehicle is turned off, this situation is generally caused by a faulty dashcam battery, please contact customer service.​

4. ​Firmware upgrade method: First, format the memory card on the dashcam or computer, then copy the extracted files and bin files to the root directory of the SD card. After inserting the card into the dashcam and powering it on, it will automatically upgrade. Once the upgrade is complete, the dashcam will automatically turn on.​

​Attention:​

1. ​Do not lose power during the upgrade process, as this may cause the upgrade to fail and the device to be unable to boot.​

2. ​After the upgrade is complete, remove the memory card, format it on a computer, and then reinsert it into the dashcam for use (otherwise, it will automatically upgrade again when reinserted into the dashcam).​

​It may be due to wiring errors during installation, and the ACC line is connected to always powered.​

1. ​Please confirm that the red line is connected to always powered, the yellow line is connected to the ACC, and the black line is connected to the ground.​

2. ​There is a parking monitoring option in the settings. If this parking monitoring is turned off, the device will automatically shut down after the engine is turned off. If the parking monitoring is turned on, it will enter sleep mode after the engine is turned off.​

1. ​You can set the camera to various G-Sensor settings. If you choose a high sensitivity setting, then even a small collision can trigger it. If you choose a low setting, then a lot of force is required to activate the G-Sensor accelerometer. So set the setting accordingly. This setting depends on the type of car or truck driving and the amount of vibration your car/truck produces based on the suspension and road conditions.​

2. ​If you set the G-Sensor sensitivity to high and shaking the dash cam still does not work, please contact customer service.​

​Please note: Videos recorded by reaching the G-Sensor are stored in the locked video.​

1. ​Ensure ventilation holes are not blocked.​

2. ​Avoid mounting in direct sunlight.​

3. ​Remove unit if surface > 70°C​

1. ​The dashcam is not powered on, or the mobile phone is not within 2 meters of the dashcam. Please turn on the dashcam and ensure the indicator light is functioning normally.​

2. ​The dashcam WiFi is not turned on. Please manually or use voice control to turn on the dashcam WiFi.​

3. ​The mobile phone WiFi is not turned on. Please enable WiFi in the WiFi function list in your phone's settings.​

4. ​Location permissions are not enabled. Please go to your phone settings - 'Privacy' - 'Location Services', find 'event', select 'While using the app', and then re-enter the app.​

5. ​If someone else has connected to the dashcam and you cannot connect, you need to restart the dashcam.​

6. ​Restart the mobile phone and dashcam then try again.​

7. ​The device's WiFi module is damaged​

1. ​Re-enter the dashcam password, the default passwords are usually: 12345678 or 123456789 or 1234567890 or 88888888 or 88889999. ​

2. ​If you still get a password error, please restore the dashcam to factory settings and try again after restarting.​

1. ​Please bring the mobile phone within 2 meters of the dashcam and try again.​

2. ​Please turn off the mobile data network (mobile data may affect the connection between the dashcam and the APP).​

3. ​Please do not connect multiple phones to the dashcam frequently; wait for 1 minute before trying again or restart the dashcam before connecting.​

4. ​Internal exception in the dashcam, please restart the dashcam. If the issue persists, please restore the dashcam to factory settings.​

1. ​Please ensure the mobile phone is within 10 ft of the dashcam.​

2. ​Memory card issue: Check if the storage card used by the dashcam is a high-speed card specifically for in-car dashcams, rated C10 or above (storage cards for mobile phones or cameras may not meet the requirements for in-car dashcams). ​

3. ​You can remove the memory card, restart the dashcam, and then connect the app to check for any lag. If the issue disappears, it is likely due to an abnormal memory card.​

1. ​Stay connected to Dashcam Wi-Fi.​

2. ​Avoid switching apps/locking phone.​

3. ​Check Micro SD card space.​

4. ​Update HiveCam app.​

1. ​Check G-Sensor sensitivity (default 5).​

2. ​Increase sensitivity if not triggering.​

• ​It is recommended to turn off mobile data from your App when connected with Wi-Fi hotspot so proper connection without interference. Thus, lease switch off Mobile Data and recheck this. ​

• ​It is possible if you have not formatted the SD card before the first-time use. Thus, please format the SD Card and restart the device.​

1. ​Location Access: Needed to retrieve the Wi-Fi name for dashcam pairing. You can select precise or approximate location.​

2. ​Nearby Devices: Required to detect and connect with your dashcam.​

3. ​Photos & Media Access: Needed to save and view recordings from the dashcam.​

4. ​Notifications: The app will prompt you to enable notifications for alerts.​

• ​Stop recording → Go to “Device Album” in app → Select and download files → Saved under “Local Video.”​

• ​Access via Dashcam menu and it will take you to the following features:​

1. ​Resolution:​​ Sets the video quality (1296 p) for recording.​

2. ​Loop Time:​​ Defines the duration of video segments before the dashcam overwrites the oldest file.​

3. ​Exposure:​​ Adjusts the brightness of the recorded video.​

4. ​G-Sensor Sensitivity:​​ Controls how easily impacts trigger an emergency video lock.​

5. ​Boot Sounds:​​ Enables or disables the sound played when the dashcam starts up.​

6. ​Volume:​​ Adjusts the playback loudness of audio and voice prompts.​

7. ​Frequency:​​ Sets the screen refresh rate to match the local power frequency (example: 50Hz/60Hz).​

8. ​Date/Time:​​ Allows manual setting or synchronization of the system time and date.​

9. ​Reset:​​ Restores all dashcam settings to their factory defaults.​

10. ​Firmware Version: ​​Displays the current software version running on the device.​

1. ​On the app, click on the "Snapshot" feature. ​

2. ​The picture click is indicated by a shutter sound.​

​This option allows users to report app issues, share feedback, and help improve app performance.​

2. ​Enter the issue details (up to 150 characters), upload up to 2 photos or 1 video (optional), add your phone number or email, Device Log File (optional), and App log file (optional; can be enabled or disabled). ​

3. ​Tap Confirm to submit feedback.​

​You may face issues like photo not getting captured or any other issues while using the app. You can try to: ​

1. ​Attempt Formatting the SD Card​

2. ​Restart the device ​

1. ​Go to the Dashcam Preview interface. ​

2. ​Please STOP recording first, then press the ‘Dashcam Albums’ to get photos, videos, and emergency files (event tab).​

3. ​Select the media files to download onto your device. Go to Event tab to download the emergency event videos. ​

4. ​Press the download icon to save the media files. Trim the video duration as per your requirement, then wait for the download to complete. ​

5. ​Then you can find these downloaded media files in APP original interface menu named ‘Downloaded Files’.​

​SR Synthesis allows you to view route details, steering wheel direction, vehicle acceleration, and vehicle speed as on-screen data stamps on downloaded videos.​

​Steps to Enable SR Synthesis:​

1. ​Stop the ongoing recording.​

2. ​Go to Downloaded Files.​

3. ​Open the Videos / Event folder.​

4. ​Tap SR Synthesis to process the video with SR data. ​

5. ​Open SR / Close SR to view/hide the video with SR data overlays.​

​ Note: Since E1 doesn’t have in-built GPS functionality so SR Synthesis video won’t work as expected. ​

1. ​Connect Dashcam to car charger via Type-C cable. ​

2. ​Engine ON → Dashcam powers on and starts recording automatically. ​

3. ​Engine OFF → Dashcam powers down.​

1. ​Insert U3 Class 10 micro SD (up to 256GB) with gold contacts facing lens. ​

• ​The Wi-Fi range is maximum 10 ft without obstacles.​

​The Wi-Fi key functions are:​
