Troubleshooting FAQs

  • Short press the “INPUT” button on Sound Bar or remote controller to switch it to BT mode. On your phone search for “Aavante Bar 4100DA”and connect.

  • Press Input to enter AUX/USB/Bluetooth/HDMI(ARC) /Coaxial selection Mode

  • For USB it will Play directly upon connection of a USB drive.

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  4. Check for different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check if the problem occurs when connected to different power sockets.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e. the jack is properly inserted into the device for aux, properly connected with the HDMI cable from unit's HDMI (ARC) slot to the HDMI (ARC) slot on your ARC compatible TV, check if the protective cap of the OPTICAL socket is removed, then connect an OPTICAL cable to the TV’s OPTICAL OUT socket and the OPTICAL socket on the unit, the USB that is connected is functional or if it is connected by Bluetooth then it is paired properly and the blue light is not blinking to indicate it is properly paired in Bluetooth mode.

  2. When using either of the Digital inputs, if there is no audio, try setting the TV output to PCM or connect directly to your Blu-ray/other source, some TVs do not pass-through digital audio, check the TV manual for details.

  3. Your TV may be set to variable audio output. Confirm that the audio output setting is set to FIXED or STANDARD, not VARIABLE. Consult your TV’s user manual for more detailed information.

  4. Check if the device has been properly connected to the power socket and if the problem occurs on all modes of playback. If connected to the TV, ensure that the connections are secure, the TV supports the playback mode and the volume is set properly on the TV.

  5. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

  2. Check if the device is in aux mode because the remote buttons will not work in aux mode

  3. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players

  4. Check if the remote control has been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards

  5. Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.

  6. Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.

  7. Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.

  8. Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type, try to replace the battery.

  9. Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

  1. Check if the AAVANTE Bar 4100DA and the subwoofer are plugged in properly to the power source and turned on using the button on the soundbar or the remote.

  2. Check if there are any loose wirings.

  3. Turn off the power switch and wait for a few minutes and try again.

General FAQs

  • Press the Power on/off button on the remote control or soundbar control

  • Panel to turn the soundbar on and off.

  • The soundbar has Four Equalizer modes:

  1. Music

  2. News

  3. Movie

  4. 3D

  • Select BT mode either by pressing the INPUT/MODE button on your remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until BT is shown on the LED display. The LED display will flash to indicate that the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode.

  • Ensure that the device you wish to connect is also in pairing mode and search for “Aavante Bar 4100D” in its device list. The LED display on the soundbar will stop flashing and become consistent when the two devices are paired. (The soundbar will now automatically re-pair with this device when it is within optimum range and in Bluetooth mode.)

    Note : If there is no connection for ten minutes, the soundbar will go into Standby mode to save power consumption

  • Connect a compatible device using the 3.5mm – 3.5mm stereo jack cable (provided). Select AUX mode either by pressing the INPUT/MODE button on your remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until AUX is displayed on the LED display. Ensure the connected device is producing an audio signal, then adjust the volume of soundbar using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.

  • The soundbar is compatible with USB flash memory up to 64GB (Fat32 format) and support MP3 and WAV audio files directly. Simply insert a compatible USB flash drive into the USB port on the back of the soundbar and the unit will automatically switch to USB mode and play the first compatible track.

  • USB repeat modes (also accessed via the remote control) enables single track repeat (ONE), all track repeat (ALL)

  • The media player also has memory function that will recall and continue from the last-played point when a USB flash drive that has been earlier used with the soundbar is reinserted.

  • Connect a compatible device to the OPTICAL input on the soundbar using a digital cable (not supplied). Select OPT mode either by pressing the INPUT/MODE button on your remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until OPT is displayed on the LED display.

  • Ensure Optical SPDIF is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of the soundbar by pressing the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.

  • Connect an HDMI(ARC) compatible device such as TV to the HDMI(ARC) port on the soundbar using an HDMI cable (not supplied). Select HDMI(ARC) mode either by pressing the INPUT/MODE button on your remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until ARC is displayed on the LED display. Ensure HDMI ARC is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of soundbar by pressing the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.

  • HDMI IN :

  1. Connect a compatible device such as Blu-ray disc player, DVD player, etc.to the HDMI IN port on the soundbar using an HDMI cable (not supplied).

  2. Select HDMI mode either by pressing the INPUT/MODE button on yourremote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until HDMI isdisplayed on the LED display. Then adjust the volume of soundbar by pressing the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.

  • Connect a compatible device to the COAXIAL input on the soundbar by using coaxial cable (not supplied). Select COAX mode either by pressing the INPUT/MODE button on your remote control or soundbar control panel repeatedly until COA is displayed on the LED display.

  • Ensure Coaxial select- ed as the TV’s audio output, and then adjust the volume of the soundbar by pressing the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.

  • To enjoy content containing Dolby Atmos®, the connected device and content must support Dolby Atmos®

  • It is available only in HDMI(IN) and HDMI(ARC) mode. And it is needed to set up an audio output on the connected devices (Blu-ray displayer, TV etc.) to “No encoding” such as “Bitstream”, “Auto” or “Bypass”.

Note: When you play DOLBY ATMOS Content, the soundbar will display "DOLBY SURROUND/DOLBY ATMOS" in the beginning
