Troubleshooting FAQs

  • Short press the “INPUT” button on Sound Bar or remote controller to switch it to BT mode. On your phone search for “Aavante Bar 2500” and connect.

  • Press Input to enter AUX/USB/Bluetooth/Optical/HDMI(ARC) selection Mode

  • For USB it will Play directly upon connection of a USB drive.

  1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

  2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

  3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

  4. Check for different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

  5. Check if the problem occurs when connected to different power sockets.

  1. Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e. the jack is properly inserted into the device for aux, properly connected with the HDMI cable from unit's HDMI (ARC) slot to the HDMI (ARC) slot on your ARC compatible TV, check if the protective cap of the OPTICAL socket is removed, then connect an OPTICAL cable to the TV’s OPTICAL OUT socket and the OPTICAL socket on the unit, the USB that is connected is functional or if it is connected by Bluetooth then it is paired properly and the blue light is not blinking to indicate it is properly paired in Bluetooth mode.

  2. When using either of the Digital inputs, if there is no audio, try setting the TV output to PCM or connect directly to your Blu-ray/other source, some TVs do not pass-through digital audio, check the TV manual for details.

  3. Your TV may be set to variable audio output. Confirm that the audio output setting is set to FIXED or STANDARD, not VARIABLE. Consult your TV’s user manual for more detailed information.

  4. Check if the device has been properly connected to the power socket and if the problem occurs on all modes of playback. If connected to the TV, ensure that the connections are secure, the TV supports the playback mode, and the volume is set properly on the TV.

  5. Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

  1. Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device

  2. Check if the device is in aux mode because the remote buttons will not work in aux mode

  3. Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players

  4. Check if the remote control has been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards

  5. Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.

  6. Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.

  7. Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.

  8. Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type, try to replace the battery.

  9. Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

  1. Check if the AAVANTE Bar 2500 and the subwoofer are plugged in properly to the power source and turned on using the button on the soundbar or the remote.

  2. Check if there are any loose wirings.

  3. Turn off the power switch and wait for a few minutes and try again.

General FAQs

  1. Place the Soundbar on table or Wall mount it.

  2. Connect the subwoofer using the subwoofer out port.

  3. Connect the Left Satellite Speaker to the left speaker port using the provided wire.

  4. Connect the right Satellites speaker to the right speaker port using the provided wire.

  5. Place the Satellite speakers at the back side of the room in the left & right orientation.

  • Utilize the provided power adaptor to connect the DC port of the soundbar to a power socket.

  1. Press the ‘Power’ button to switch on the soundbar; the device automatically enters the Bluetooth mode.

  2. Press the ‘Power’ button again to switch off the device.

Note: The soundbar gets automatically switched off if there is no operation performed for 15 minutes.

  1. The unit will automatically turn to standby mode when no audio input is received for 30 Min. The Soundbar will wake up from Standby mode when any button is pressed, or source input is received.

  2. If the TV or the external unit is disconnected, switch it off.

  3. To switch the unit off completely, remove the main plug from the mains socket.

  4. Please turn the unit off completely to save energy when not in use.

  • The Amazon Firestick will not connect to the Soundbar. The Sound Bar and the Amazon Firestick would connect separately to the TV.

  • Press the “EQ button repeatedly on the Soundbar or press the INPUT button on the remote control to select the BT, AUX, OPTICAL, HDMI ARC & USB Mode.

  • EQ Modes: The soundbar has 12 Equalizer modes:

  1. EQ 1- Music (EQ 1 stays On by default)

  2. EQ 2 – Movies

  3. EQ 3 – News

  4. EQ 4 - 3D

  5. EQ 5 – Flat

  6. EQ 6 – Classical

  7. EQ 7 – Rock

  1. Turn on the soundbar; the device goes into ‘bt’ mode by default

  2. On your media device under Bluetooth functionality search for “Aavante Bar 2500” when both the devices are within the Bluetooth

  3. transmission range, and select the same to establish Bluetooth connectivity(Press‘0000’ifaskedforacode). Once connected, the ‘BT’ stays stable on the LED display

  4. The soundbar gets reconnected to the last paired device by default within working range whenever the soundbar gets switched on subsequently.

  5. Press the ‘Mode’ button on the soundbar control panel or ‘UNPAIR’ on the remote control to disconnect it from the current paired device.

  1. Utilize the provided 3.5mm cable to connect the soundbar to your mobile device.

  2. Short press “Mode” button in steps to switch to AUX mode; indicated by “Aux 1” on the LED display.

  3. Short press VOL-/PREV button to decrease volume

  4. Short press VOL+/NEXT button to increase volume
