Troubleshooting FAQs
Short press the “INPUT” button on Sound Bar or remote controller to switch it to BT mode. On your phone search for boAt Aavante 1600D and connect.
Press Input to enter AUX/USB/Bluetooth/Optical/Coaxial/HDMI(ARC) selection Mode
For USB it will Play directly upon connection of a USB drive.
The LED will turn into pink colour
Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.
Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.
Check for different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.
Check if the problem occurs when connected to different power sockets.
Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e. the jack is properly inserted into the device for aux, properly connected with the HDMI cable from unit's HDMI (ARC) slot to the HDMI (ARC) slot on your ARC compatible TV, check if the protective cap of the OPTICAL socket is removed, then connect an OPTICAL cable to the TV’s OPTICAL OUT socket and the OPTICAL socket on the unit, the USB that is connected is functional or if it is connected by Bluetooth then it is paired properly and the blue light is not blinking to indicate it is properly paired in Bluetooth mode.
When using either of the Digital inputs, if there is no audio, try setting the TV output to PCM or connect directly to your Blu-ray/other source, some TVs do not pass-through digital audio, check the TV manual for details.
Your TV may be set to variable audio output. Confirm that the audio output setting is set to FIXED or STANDARD, not VARIABLE. Consult your TV’s user manual for more detailed information.
Check if the device has been properly connected to the power socket and if the problem occurs on all modes of playback. If connected to the TV, ensure that the connections are secure, the TV supports the playback mode, and the volume is set properly on the TV.
Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
Check if the device is in aux mode because the remote buttons will not work in aux mode
Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players
Check if the remote control has been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards
Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.
Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.
Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.
Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type, try to replace the battery.
Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.
Check if the AAVANTE Bar Aaupera and the subwoofer are plugged in properly to the power source and turned on using the button on the soundbar or the remote.
Check if there are any loose wirings.
Turn off the power switch and wait for a few minutes and try again.
Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
Check if the device is in aux mode because the buttons will not work in aux mode
Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if they controls do not function on call or other media players
Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards
General FAQs
Plug in the power cord and the display will light up (Standby mode)
Switch on the soundbar by using power button on soundbar or by using STANDBY button on remote.
After switching on, the default input mode will appear on display.
To turn off, press and hold the power button on the Soundbar or the remote for 2 seconds or unplug from wall outlet.
The unit will automatically turn to standby mode when no audio input is received. The Soundbar will wake up from Standby mode when any button is pressed, or source input is received.
If the TV or the external unit is disconnected, switch it off.
To switch the unit off completely, remove the main plug from the mains socket.
Please turn the unit off completely to save energy when not in use.
Press the “ ” button repeatedly on the Soundbar or press the INPUT button on the remote control to select the BT, AUX, OPTICAL, COAXIAL, HDMI ARC & USB Mode.
EQ Modes : The soundbar has four Equalizer modes

The Amazon Firestick will not connect to the Soundbar. The Sound Bar and the Amazon Firestick would connect separately to the TV.
Press the BT button on the remote control or repeatedly press the Mode button on the soundbar control panel until ‘bt’ is shown on the LED display. The LED display will flash to indicate that the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing range. Ensure that the device user wants to connect with also in the range and in pairing mode.
Search for Aavante 1600 D in the media device’s BT device list.
Select the Aavante 1600 D once it is shown on the media devices BT device list to connect it with the Aavante 1600 D.
When the two devices are paired, the LED display on the soundbar will stop flashing and remain constant.
Note:
If your pairing device gets switched off or gets manually disconnected, the sound bar will automatically enter pairing mode.
Successful connection will be re-established with the already paired device(s) once you re-enter wireless range (10m). To connect to other devices, repeat the above pairing steps.
There is no automatic shutdown in pairing mode. The sound bar will remain in pairing mode even if no device is paired, so switch off if not in use.
Connect a compatible device using the 3.5mm -3.5mm stereo jack cable. Select AUX mode either by pressing the AUX button on the remote control or repeatedly pressing the mode button on the soundbar control panel until AUX is displayed on the LED display of the soundbar.
Ensure the connected media device is producing an audio signal, then adjust the volume of the soundbar using the volume up or volume down button on the remote control or on the soundbar control panel.
The soundbar is compatible with a USB flash drive of up 32 GB in size and can play mp3 and WAV audio files directly.
Simply insert a compatible USB drive into the USB port on the back of the soundbar and the unit will automatically switch to the USB mode and play the first compatible track.
USB repeat mode (also accessed by the remote control) enables single track repeat (One) and all track repeat (All)
The media player also has the memory function that will recall and continue from the last-played point when a previously connected USB flash drive with the soundbar is reinserted into the soundbar
Connect a compatible device to the optical input on the soundbar using a digital optical cable.
Select OPT mode either by pressing the Mode button on the remote control or soundbar control panel until OPT is displayed on the LED display on the soundbar.
Ensure optical SPDIF is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of the soundbar using the volume up or down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel
Connect an HDMI ARC compatible device to the HDMI ARC input on the soundbar using a HDMI cable.
Select HDMI ARC mode either by pressing the Mode button on the remote control or soundbar control panel until ARC is displayed on the LED display on the soundbar.
Ensure HDMI ARC is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of the soundbar using the volume up or down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
