Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device.

Check if the device is in AUX mode because the remote buttons will not work in AUX mode.

Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players.

Check if the remote control has been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.

Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.

Reduce the distance between the remote control and the unit.

Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.

Check that the batteries in the remote are functional and of the correct type; try to replace the battery.

Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.

Check if the connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.

Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all obstacles in the middle are removed.

Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high volumes.

Check for different media players and different devices and if the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.

Check if the problem occurs when connected to different power sockets.

Check to see if the device has been properly connected, i.e. the jack is properly inserted into the device for AUX, properly connected with the HDMI cable from unit's HDMI (ARC) slot to the HDMI (ARC) slot on your ARC compatible TV, check if the protective cap of the OPTICAL cable is removed, then connect the OPTICAL cable to the TV’s OPTICAL OUT socket and the OPTICAL port on the unit, the USB flash drive that is connected is functional or if it is connected by Bluetooth then it is paired properly and the “bt” on the display is not blinking to indicate it is properly paired in Bluetooth mode.

When using either of the Digital inputs, if there is no audio, try setting the TV output to PCM or connect directly to your Blu-Ray/other source; some TVs do not pass-through digital audio, check the TV manual for details.

Your TV may be set to variable audio output. Confirm that the audio output setting is set to FIXED or STANDARD, not VARIABLE. Consult your TV’s user manual for more detailed information.

Check if the device has been properly connected to the power socket and if the problem occurs on all modes of playback. If connected to the TV, ensure that the connections are secure, the TV supports the playback mode and the volume is set properly on the TV.

Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.

Check if Aavante 2.1 2450 and the subwoofer are plugged in properly to the power source and turned on using the button on the soundbar or the remote.

Check if there are any loose wirings.

Turn off the power switch and wait for a few minutes and try again.

Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device.

Check if the device is in AUX mode because the buttons will not work in AUX mode.

Utilize the provided power cable to connect the AC IN port of the soundbar to a power socket.

Short press the ‘Power’ button on the soundbar control panel or the remote control to switch on the soundbar; the device automatically enters into Bluetooth mode.

Short press the ‘Power’ button again to switch off the device. Then, unplug it from the wall outlet.

The unit will automatically turn to standby mode when no audio input is received for 30 minutes. The soundbar will wake up from Standby mode when any button is pressed, or source input is received.

If the TV or the external unit is disconnected, switch off the soundbar.

To switch the unit off completely, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.

Please turn the unit off completely to save energy when not in use.

Turn on the soundbar. Short press the M button on the soundbar or the INPUT button on the remote to select Bluetooth mode; the device goes into ‘bt’ mode.

On your media device under Bluetooth functionality, search for “Aavante 2.1 2450” when both the devices are within the Bluetooth transmission range and select the same to establish Bluetooth connectivity. (Press ‘0000’, if asked for a code)

Once connected, the flickering ‘bt’ indicator becomes stable on the LED display.

The soundbar gets reconnected to the last paired device by default within working range whenever the soundbar gets switched on subsequently.

Double press the ‘Play/Pause’ button on the soundbar control panel or short press the ‘Pair’ button on the remote control to disconnect/reconnect it to the current paired device.

Short press the Power button repeatedly on the soundbar or press the INPUT button on the remote control to switch between BT, optical, HDMI(ARC), USB & AUX modes.

EQ Modes: The soundbar has 4 Equalizer modes - Music, Movie, News & 3D.

Plug in your USB drive into the soundbar’s USB port to automatically switch to USB mode.

Alternatively, short press the “M” button on the soundbar or the INPUT button on the remote repeatedly to switch to USB mode; indicated by “Usb” on the LED display.

Short press the “-“ button to decrease volume

Short press the “+” button to increase volume

Utilize the provided 3.5mm cable to connect the soundbar to your media device.

Short press the “M” button on the soundbar or the INPUT button on the remote multiple times to switch to AUX mode; indicated by “AU” on the LED display.

Playback has to be controlled on your connected media device.

Plug in HDMI(ARC) cable into the HDMI(ARC) port on the soundbar and plug in the other side to a TV or other media device with HDMI(ARC) port.

Short press the Mode button on the soundbar or the INPUT button on the remote repeatedly to switch to HDMI(ARC) mode.

Short press the “-“ button to decrease volume.

Short press the “+” button to increase volume.

Utilize an optical cable to connect the soundbar and TV / other media device with the optical port.

Short press the Mode button on the soundbar or the INPUT button on the remote repeatedly to switch to Optical mode.

Short press “-“ to decrease volume.

Short press “+” to increase volume.

The Amazon Firestick will not connect to the soundbar.
